Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku hummed softly, shifting his hand on Light's arm as he leaned his head back against the tree. That was good, since he at least wanted his parents to be back in their own home. And the girls too. But...he still wasn't sure what would happen with Kairi, since the Mayor did kick her out. Regardless, Riku wasn't going to worry about it; they had more serious things to be concerned about.

"What do you think you and Light are gonna do?" Sora asked softly, glancing at the girl sleeping with her head in Riku's lap before looking to his best friend. He knew from Riku that Lightning had a life in Cocoon, and he seemed to enjoy living with her. But obviously he missed Destiny Islands, too. That would always be home, for all of them.
"Dunno," Riku said softly, keeping his gaze on the sunrise. He wanted to be with Light, but...what about the Islands? He couldn't ask Lightning to leave Cocoon for him, but what about his parents? Would he actually have to live a life apart from Lightning once things were back to normal?

Sora nodded slightly, shifting his gaze back to the sunrise. Whatever was going to happen, he was sure Riku and Light would survive as a couple. They already went through a lot and proved how much they love each other. Neither of them were going to let the worlds separate them. They'd be fine.
Riku lowered his eyes to the person he loved, who was still sleeping. He didn't mind if she was still asleep; she needed the rest after all she did the last few days. He was worried about her, especially since she got so weak that he had to carry her a few times. But, it was alright. Light always came before him. Always.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly when the sunshine started to wake her up, the girl laying on her side with her head in Riku's lap. She hadn't fallen asleep that way, but waking up to it now, she recognized the feeling. It wasn't the first time she found her head in Riku's lap. She wished she could focus on the comfort of his close presence, but with the return of consciousness, her pain was also making a comeback.
Riku moved his hand along Lightning's arm when he saw her expression, though he didn't say anything. There was no rush; she could take her time coming back to reality. He would be there.

Light felt the urge to fall back asleep with Riku's gentle rubbing, but she knew it was time to wake up so they could continue their hunt for Darren and the Princesses. She lifted a hand and set it on Riku's knee in front of her, squeezing it a little both out of her own discomfort and as a small sign of affection. Even if they were two totally different reasons, they still stood.
Riku continued to rub Lightning's arm, knowing that she was still waking up. He lifted his eyes to the sky, not seeing anything or sensing any Darkness. Everything was alright, so she could take her time. Kairi was still asleep, anyway.

...Maybe I'll lay here, just a little longer, Claire thought, Riku's gesture soothing even if her pain was increasing. She had an excuse not to move, because of tiredness. So she would use that excuse and let Riku believe that she wasn't hurting right now.
At the thought, Riku looked over at his two best friends. Kairi was facing Sora, her back to Riku as she continued to sleep. He wondered how she was doing. He knew she was scared; he could read it on her face sometimes. But she was being quiet about it, being strong. He was proud of her.

No, Lightning, the young woman told herself firmly. You're stronger than this. Suck it up and get up. She exhaled a breath through her nose, moving her hand to the ground and pushing herself up into a sitting position slightly in front of Riku and to the side. She opened her eyes and adjusted to the sunlight, realizing she slept in later than she wanted. Again.
Riku's hand came off Lightning's arm when she sat up, his eyes on her now. He couldn't see her face that well, not that it really mattered. She was alright, wasn't she?

Lightning glanced back slightly to the side opposite of Riku, scooting herself and lightly leaning her back against the tree. She lightly folded her arms over her chest, working off her sleepiness and already starting to think of where they could search next for Darren. Two days and nothing wasn't good. This search needed to end, because she was in no condition to keep living like this.
Riku saw the look on Light's face, and he let his eyes move to his best friend. "Sora," he called then. "Wake Kairi up. We'll be moving soon." It was a feeling he had, one he knew was right. Besides, they couldn't stay here long, just in case Darren came for Kairi.

Sora nodded slightly, having just been thinking something similar. He looked down at the girl beside him, the brunet lifting a hand and lightly setting it on her shoulder. "Hey, Kai?" he said gently, lightly shaking her shoulder. It was time for them to get a move on.
Kairi hummed softly in her sleep, her eyebrows furrowing at the shake. But the voice she recognized. Sora. She felt the grass against her face, remembering where they were. They were still traveling the worlds, weren't they?

Sora started lightly rubbing Kairi's arm once he got that small response, his eyes staying on her. "Time to wake up, baby," he said softly, his voice gentle. Poor Kairi. She wasn't conditioned to go through times like this where she had to sleep outdoors and always stay moving. The rest of them were, and he could tell she was trying hard to keep up with them. It would be worth it in the end, when she was safe and Darren was gone.
Sora's touch made Kairi want to fall back into another deep slumber, but his words did the opposite. "Mm," she hummed softly, nodding a little against the grass. Right, they had to keep moving. Darren was still out there...coming for her. It scared her, and the thought made her wake up more. Kairi opened her eyes, seeing Sora directly in front of her. Thank goodness she had him; he was her warrior, after all.

Sora brought his hand off Kairi's arm, instead using the hand to gently tuck some of Kairi's red hair behind her ear. He smiled faintly despite the circumstances, loving to be with her when she woke up. "Morning, beautiful," he said softly, his hand coming back to his lap when her hair was tucked back.
Kairi looked up at that, her eyes finding the blue she loved. She smiled faintly. "Morning, handsome," she greeted softly. It wasn't exactly a good morning, but the Pride Lands were beautiful anyway. But she was with Sora, so it was better than it could have been.

"You gonna take me up on that piggy-back ride today?" Sora asked softly, his smile turning a little more lopsided. Yesterday when they woke up, he offered to carry Kairi on his back, since she was so groggy. And now he was obviously making that offer again. He didn't mind. He wanted to do whatever he could to make this easier for Kairi. That was also why he was trying to keep things as lighthearted as possible.
Kairi's smile grew a little, despite the circumstances and why they were here. "I think so," she said. She was pretty tired still, as she had been the last few days. Of course, she knew what she had to do in case trouble showed up; she had to get off and leave Sora to fight, as well as Riku and Lightning.

Sora's smile evened out, the teen nodding. "Alright," he said softly. He started getting up to his feet so Kairi could get onto his back, glad she said yes to him. He loved her and wanted to care for her, either by doing it physically or emotionally. He felt like he was doing the best he could right now, with both.
Kairi pushed herself up into a sitting position when she saw Sora stand, running a hand through her hair absently. He was being so sweet, and she appreciated it. After all, she wasn't used to this kind of traveling, or traveling at all. It wore her out and made her feel weak, which she disliked. But there wasn't anything she could do about it.
