A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Lightning glanced over at Sora and Kairi when she saw that the former was ready to carry Kairi on his back, the scene making her smile faintly. She had to admit, in the past, she hadn't had much patience for people who had little stamina. But she grew more merciful since then, and understanding. Kairi was trying her best, and she admired her for that.

Kairi stood up and she approached Sora from behind. She gave a small hop and got onto Sora's back, wrapping her arms securely but gently around him from behind, her hands against his chest. His spiky hair briefly tickled her chin, but she turned her head, seeing both Lightning and Riku on their feet. She should have known they would be awake.

Lightning nodded slightly to Kairi in greeting, wondering how she came across to one of Riku's best friends. For some reason, it was important to her. Kairi was like Riku's family, and if Light was ever going to become a part of Riku's family...well, she wanted the approval of those close to him. But she couldn't focus on those thoughts for long, hearing noise in the grass that wasn't caused by a faint wind. She set her hand on the hilt her of sword and looked over to the side, surprised to see who was coming.

 

"Heeeeeey!" "Ventus" called, running over to the group. He waved slightly, approaching them at a fast pace. He was going to put on his act well, knowing that today was the day that Darren wanted the Princess. He would get her, and Lightning's head on a silver platter, soon enough.

Riku turned his head, his eyebrows furrowing. "Ven?" he said without thought, surprise in his voice. How did he manage to track them down? And more importantly, where were Roxas and Namine?

Ven stopped by the group, hands on his knees as he bent over slightly to catch his breath. "Finally...found you guys," he said breathlessly, looking up at Riku and Lightning in particular. Lightning was Ven's sister; of course he'd look at her above anyone else.

Riku's eyebrows remained furrowed, seeing how out of breath Ven was. How long had he been looking for them? And more importantly... "Where are Roxas and Namine?" he asked then. They were supposed to be with Ven.

Ventus shook his head slightly, looking down towards the ground. "We were ambushed," he revealed softly. "I told Roxas to get away with Namine, but when they made their escape, Darren and his friends went after them before I could stop them. They were taken away." He sounded sad and bitter, his emotions programed well to match the real Ven's. Fooling his "friends" was going to be a sinch.

"What?" Kairi gasped, her eyes wide in horror. Roxas...and Namine. They were with Darren? That was awful!

 

Riku frowned at the news, looking away. He should have known...but how could he? They hadn't been in contact with anyone else for two days. Regardless, they had to get to Darren before he hurt either of them.

"I tried finding Terra and Aqua or you guys, but I ran into you guys first. I was hoping to find them too in case Darren ambushed them, but...it's probably too late by now," Ven's eyes showed mock worry instead of his deception, the clone good at spinning this tale. The truth? He took out Roxas and Namine himself and Rena took them to the castle they were at. He betrayed them, not that he was ever on their side in the first place.

Kairi lowered her eyes to the ground, not knowing what to say. Clearly, no one else did either, since it was silent between them all. Roxas and Namine...were gone? And what about Terra and Aqua? Was Ven right, about it being too late for them?

"...Nothing we can do but keep our guard up and keep moving," Lightning finally said, glancing around the group before she looked back to her brother. "Ven, you'll stay with us." No way was he going out on his own. He seemed to agree, the blond nodding without arguing.

"Count me in." "Aqua" walked toward the group calmly, though her expression showed otherwise. She stopped a few feet back, on the opposite side of the group as "Ven". Two of them turned around to look at her, shock on their faces.

Ven turned around, catching Sora and Lightning do the same. "Aqua," he said in mock surprise, having expected her to arrive right around now. She took care of Terra already, though he knew he had to act worried for his "friend". "Where's Terra?"

"Dead," Aqua said, walking a few more feet forward. "Or terminated, in other words. He was a clone the whole time." She stopped next to Riku, knowing he wouldn't be able to see through her lies. She was programmed too perfectly to be read so easily. "He turned on me, and I had no choice but to take action." The real Aqua would have been devastated at having to kill a clone of someone she held such strong feelings for, and "Aqua" did just that, doing her part well.

"Oh man..." Ventus mumbled, lowering his gaze to the ground and running a hand over the back of his head. That meant that the real Terra was in Darren's clutches. That was actually true, but he had been there for not so long. He just arrived there, with the real Aqua, Ven, Roxas, and Namine. It was funny, how Aqua's story was the complete opposite of what really happened. She was the clone that betrayed him, not the other way around.

Riku looked to the others, but his eyes stopped on Sora. "We need to get moving," he said lowly, his eyes stern. Darren could be coming for Kairi next, since he already got to the others.

Sora nodded in agreement, not hesitation. "We haven't searched the main part of Pride Rock yet," he said to Aqua and Ven. "We'll scan the area and then go somewhere else." They were running out of places to look. But he turned and started towards that place, Kairi still on his back. He heard Lightning start right after him.

"Aqua" looked to her real comrade in this charade, spotting Riku follow after his friends out of the corner of her eye. She smirked at him slightly and nodded before starting to walk. Their plan was in action; it was time to keep this up.

Ven nodded slightly, and after a little bit of walking, he noticed Lightning starting to lag a little towards the back of the group. Towards him. He silently summoned his Keyblade as he walked behind her, prepared to knock her out. He motioned for "Aqua" to be ready; they were starting this. He brought up his Keyblade and swung for Lightning's head with the broad side, going to knock her out.

 

Lightning was trained to sense any kind of attack from behind, her senses with surprise attacks probably greater than anybody elses's in the group. She ducked her head and spun around, lifting a foot and kicking the offender in the chest before sending him flying. Her heart started racing, though, when she saw that it was Ven who tried to attack her, her little brother landing on his back on the ground. I knew something wasn't right here...That's not Ven.

Riku whirled around at the sound, his eyes widening when he saw Ven go flying back, and Lightning being the reason. "Light...what's going--?" He didn't get to finish, because Aqua came at them then, Keyblade in hand.

 

"Thunder!" the clone of the Keyblade Master cried, thrusting her Keyblade toward the air. The spell rained down on the group, specifically targeting the fighters and the Princess. Of course, the Princess couldn't be hurt too badly; they needed her power.

 

Kairi felt a shock hit her as she remained on Sora's back, a small grunt leaving her at the pain. What was going on? Aqua?!

Lightning winced at the spell, pulling out her gunblade and seeing "Ven" get up. "They're clones!" she cried in warning, shifting to her Ravager Paradigm and sending a fireball Aqua's way. These two must have betrayed their own groups before!

Riku grunted, but he summoned his Keyblade to him immediately, witnessing "Aqua" get hit with Light's spell. "Sora!" he said firmly. He had to get Kairi out of here, now!

Sora let Kairi off his back, summoning a Keyblade to his grasp immediately. He saw "Ven" make a run for him and Kairi, but Lightning intercepted him, hitting him with her sword. He had to admit, he was impressed; Ven was really fast, but even in her condition, Lightning was fast. No time to dwell on that. Time to go.

"Aqua" cried out, sending a Fire spell Sora and Kairi's way. But before she could do anything more, Riku got in her path, swinging at her. She had no choice but to block the attack and take him on in a battle.

Sora sensed movement behind him, the teen shoving Kairi out of the way and blocking Rena's sword. He grunted, seeing she wasn't the only one who appeared. Gual was here as well. And if those two were here, Darren couldn't be far behind.
