Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine blinked when Roxas grasped her hand, her head turning and her eyes automatically going to that. But then she looked up, feeling Roxas's gaze on her. "Hm?" she hummed automatically in question, seeing his expression. Did she miss something?
Roxas kept his light grasp on Namine's wrist, just looking at her. However, he was sure his eyes were soft with concern, and a bit of sadness. "...What's wrong?" he asked her softly. She was upset; he knew her well enough to tell.

Namine automatically looked away at the question, figuring that she must not have been covering up her emotions. "Nothing," she said softly. Everything was fine now, so nothing was wrong. Darren and the others were gone, the Princesses were safe, and so were all of them. It was all okay. Right?
Roxas frowned slightly, his grasp on Namine's wrist loosening a little. "...Don't lie to me," he said softly. He knew something was wrong; she wasn't talking, or being social at all. She was lost in her own thoughts. Not that it was wrong or anything, but something wasn't right.

Namine shook her head slightly, looking back to Roxas. "I'm not lying," she said softly. "Everything's fine. The Princesses are all safe and we're all back together. ...Why wouldn't it be alright?" She said it aloud to convince herself, though she still didn't feel at peace like she should have. Something really was wrong.
"...What happened while we were in other worlds, when we were in Enchanted Dominion," Roxas said softly, hinting at what happened with Ven's clone. "Is that still bothering you?" He tilted his head to the side, the question in his eyes. He wanted to help, sure that he could; unlike earlier, when he couldn't protect her. He was a failure, but did Namine think the same thing? Was that what was wrong?

Namine glanced down a little bit, Roxas hitting the nail on the head. "I guess a little," she said softly. "But...It's all over, so why should I worry about it?" She was having a hard time letting it go for some reason, and it bothered her. She didn't like thinking this way.
"Because it scared you," Roxas said in response. "The fact that I couldn't protect you scared you..." That was it, wasn't it? He was a joke, and Namine saw that.

Namine glanced down at her wrist, which Roxas's hand was still holding. She didn't really know how to respond, because...he was right. In the past, he had always protected her. And he tried and fought his best, but in the end, both of them were kidnapped. Even Roxas, who was so strong. It was scary.
Roxas noticed that Namine didn't say anything, so he took that as his real answer. He was a joke, and Namine knew that. Roxas took his hand back from Namine's wrist, releasing a small sigh. So that's what it is...he thought sadly, his gaze resting on his legs. He understood why Namine would be so upset; she counted on him, and he failed.

Namine felt bad hearing Roxas's sigh, the girl shaking her head faintly. She hadn't meant to make him feel bad at all; he didn't deserve it. "You did everything you could," she said softly. "That's all I could ever ask for." Or expect. She couldn't expect him to be perfect.
"But it wasn't enough," Roxas said with a small shake of his head. It was always supposed to be Namine first, everything else second. But things didn't work that way earlier, and he had to watch as Namine got knocked out by Rena. It was awful.

"Not enough to get us out of the situation right then and there, no," Namine agreed, though she faintly shook her head and lifted her gaze to Roxas. "But we made it out of all this relatively unscathed. That's good." Namine normally wasn't so involved, and it was just scary to see what Roxas dealt with so often. He dealt with victory and defeat.
"Mm," Roxas said with a small nod, understanding. He turned his head, looking to the girl he loved. If she got hurt any worse, he would have lost it. And if Gual put his hands on her...then nobody would have been able to keep him from killing the guy.

Namine held Roxas's gaze for a few moments, able to tell from the look in his eyes what he was thinking about. She couldn't help but divert her gaze, the thoughts coming into her head as well. Gual had been a creep about her, just like Darren was with Kairi. It had been scary. And that was what Roxas was thinking about now too; she could tell by the look in his eyes.
Roxas didn't know what to say, so he didn't say anything at all. He looked at Namine for a little longer before he turned his gaze forward, at the ocean. He devoted his life to protecting Namine, and he failed. Badly. Maybe he wasn't as good of a guardian as he thought he was.

Namine scooted over closer to Roxas, her outstretched leg against his as she sat right by his side. She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek before returning to her previous position, her gaze on the ocean. You're still my guardian angel. You always will be.
Roxas felt his lips spread into a faint smile at the gesture, and he moved his hand to Namine's leg that was touching his. "I love you, you know," he said softly, keeping his gaze forward. He always would.

Namine smiled softly, her gaze staying on the ocean. "You know I love you too," she responded softly, feeling the warmth of his hand on her leg. As long as they loved each other, everything would be alright. She just had to have faith.
Roxas squeezed Namine's leg, humming softly. Yeah, he knew, which was why he tried so hard to make sure she was safe at all times. Namine depended on him, and he didn't want to let her down. But if Fate had other plans in mind, he couldn't do much about it.

Namine gently wrapped her arm closest to Roxas around his lower back, the blonde leaning into him lightly. This was alright. She was just shaken up by what happened; that was all. She would get over it as long as she felt Roxas's security. And she had a feeling he would stick with her for a while.
Aqua kept her position, leaned back against Terra's chest as they sat on the beach. She looked away from the two teen couples that were so close, knowing that she could have that for herself. She had Terra back with her, though she wasn't happy to see him captured and brought into the dungeon just after Namine and Roxas. She had been so worried, for everyone.

Terra glanced down at the girl who he had his arms wrapped around, the man sitting right behind Aqua with her sitting between his legs and leaning back into him. He couldn't help but look at her and just stay quiet. He was traveling with a clone of her, and he didn't even realize it until he was betrayed. He felt terrible for that.
Aqua felt Terra's gaze against her, and because she didn't know why, she smiled faintly. She lowered her gaze to the arms that were around her, her arms over Terra's. "...What're you thinking about?" she asked softly. He'd been quiet for a while; she was wondering what was going on in that head of his.
  • Author
Terra looked to the ocean at the question, his arms staying over Aqua's stomach. "Just everything," he responded quietly. He was thinking about what it was like to see Aqua point her sword at him and glare at him in a cold, ruthless way. Even if it wasn't the real Aqua, that picture was burning into his mind.
