Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua hummed softly, keeping her gaze down on Terra's arms over her stomach. "What's everything?" she asked softly, genuinely interested. Everything was a wide variety of subjects. Because she cared for Terra, she wanted to know if something was bothering him, something she could help with.

"Just...how dumb I feel, for traveling with a clone and believing it was you," Terra revealed quietly. He hated to admit that he was gullible, even if that was the truth. He still should have seen through the clone and known that she wasn't the one he loved.
Aqua's faint smile faded away at that, the girl not knowing what to say. They hadn't actually discussed things involving the clones or the betrayal that he obviously went through, but she did see the relief in his eyes when he saw her in the dungeon. Was this why?

"And I just thought...that the clones were supposed to infiltrate our group and kill us, not just send us to jail," Terra revealed softly. He had been so, so relieved that Aqua was alive, and Ven too, though he hadn't known in the first place that he was going to be in a cell too.
"You thought I was going to kill you..." Aqua said softly. Was that what Terra was getting at? If so, that was awful. She would never, ever do that. Not to someone she held such strong feelings for.

"Your clone, not you," Terra said softly. "She revealed she was just a manikin pretty early on in the battle." But still...a fight to the death with somebody who looked just like the one he loved wasn't something he wanted to think about. Or experience.
"Mm," Aqua hummed softly, nodding as she lifted her gaze to the water. Even if her clone did reveal that she was a fake, it still must have been hard for Terra to see her attack him. She knew she wasn't happy about Terra's clones coming after her; it was scary. But Terra actually believed she was there with him. That had to be much worse.

Terra nodded slightly as well, his gaze still on the water. There wasn't too much to say, really. Aqua couldn't help that she was outmatched in Radiant Garden and replaced with a clone. And Terra couldn't take back how easily he was deceived. He could only move forward, and know that he would never, ever hurt the real Aqua like he had to do with that clone.
"Despite our circumstances," Aqua started softly, squeezing one of Terra's arms around her, "I was so happy to see that you were alright." She had been scared of what happened to him, since she was taken from the very start. Ven was with her, so that settled some of her worries, but she was still concerned.

Terra couldn't help but smile softly, the man glancing at Aqua out of the corner of his eye before looking forward again. "Right back at you," he said, gently squeezing her. He had never been happier to see her in a jail cell, and he doubted he would ever be that happy to see her there again.
Aqua smiled ever so slightly, leaning her head back against Terra before turning it slightly to look up at him. She was glad he was alright; if something were to happen to him, she didn't know what she would do. She felt so strongly for him; he was the first person she'd ever experienced these kind of feelings for. It was something new, but she knew it would never get old. Not with him.

Terra looked down when he felt Aqua's gaze on him, and his small smile remained at her expression. He gave her a small kiss on her forehead, his blue eyes on her once the gesture was complete. He loved her, and he would cherish her as long as he lived.
Aqua's eyes had closed at the gesture, but she opened them to meet Terra's blue ones. She smiled at him before leaning her forehead against his chin, releasing a small breath. She was content this way, with him. She never thought they'd be more than friends, but here they were.

Lightning caught Terra and Aqua out of the corner of her eye, though her gaze was focused on the ocean. She wasn't a person to daydream too often, but she was doing it now, since she wasn't having conversation with Riku. She was thinking about something she had been dwelling on a lot lately, and that was her identity. Claire. Or Lightning. She was starting to discover who she really was, and she wasn't really the way she conceived either Lightning or Claire to be. She was a combination of the two personalities.
Riku had both of his knees propped up, elbows resting on them as he stared out at the ocean. The last time he did this was with Lightning a little while ago, when things were simple after Serah's wedding. He hoped he would have more chances, and alongside his friends. The Islands would be inhabitable soon.

Lightning was always Claire. But Claire wasn't a bad person like she previously perceived her to be. She was strong enough to survive, and she was caring and determined and...she wasn't pathetic. And Lightning wasn't as strong as she thought, or as invincible. She was flawed too. Once she accepted all that, she realized who she was. She was Claire and Lightning. The same person.
Riku fiddled with a seashell in his hands, turning it in his grasp as he thought about the Islands. That was something he would have to discuss with Lightning. After all, his parents had to move back home, and that was his home for eighteen years. And Lightning had a life here... So what would they do?
  • Author
Now, Light just had to decide what to do with her future. She wanted it with Riku, without a doubt, but she did have a life here. Family and a job, a few friends too. But she didn't want to be separated from Riku, Ven, and her other friends, either. What was she supposed to do?
"...Everyone will be going back to the Islands soon," Riku said softly, staring at the seashell in his hands. Which meant his parents would want him to stay with them, so they could get close to their son again, after everything. But...what about the girl he loved? What about Claire, Lightning? His life felt empty without her, and if they were separated...it would be worse.

Light hummed automatically to what Riku said, actually taking a second afterward to comprehend what he just said. They were thinking about the same thing. She shouldn't have been surprised by that.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed at the response he got, but he continued. "My parents won't be the only ones that'll want me home. So will Sora and Kairi," he pointed out softly. They'd been separated for a while now, when Riku devoted a lot of his time to Light. He didn't regret it, but he did miss his friends. So what would he do? Did he stay with Light, here on Cocoon, or go back home?
  • Author
Claire looked over at Riku, her eyes finding him easily. "You're going home," she said softly, without doubt or question. It was not only what Riku's family and friends wanted, but she wanted it too. She knew how important family was, and she wouldn't keep him away from his any longer.
Riku stopped twirling the seashell at that, hearing Light's tone. She wasn't asking or guessing; she was demanding it. She was telling him to go home, straight up.

"Not only is it where your parents and friends want you, but it's where you want to be too," Lightning said softly, shifting her gaze to the seashells in his hand. She knew that was truth, without a doubt. She could see it in his eyes sometimes how much he missed his home. And that was mostly why she worked so hard on restoring the world. She did it for him.
Riku frowned at that, still staring at the seashell. "...I can't be two places at once," he muttered lowly. He wanted to be with his family, but what about the person who had his heart? What about Claire?
