Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

A few days later...

Aqua tucked a few strands of her short hair behind her ear as she walked down the beach. Sora was just up ahead, and the last few days had been pretty quiet between them. She believed she needed to do something about that.

Sora sat on the beach, his eyes staying forward as he thought over everything for what must have been the ten millionth time. Ever since he got back, there had been no changes with his Keyblade situation or with his friends. He didn't know if they were still having nightmares, but he hoped they weren't. He fought Vantias to stop them, and he had lost his Keyblade in the process. If killing him didn't work, then he lost his Keyblade for nothing. But at the same time, even if it did work, it felt like a waste. Kairi and Riku still weren't talking to him...It was all for nothing.
Aqua slowed her pace, coming to a stop a few feet away from the only boy on the beach. "Sora?" she called softly. "Do you have a minute?"
  • Author
Sora glanced over at Aqua, though he already knew who she was because of her voice. He nodded slightly, turning his head forward again. Of course he had a minute; he had nothing to do these days. Sure, Roxas and Namine always tried to include him, but he was really too upset over the loss of the Keyblade to even pretend to have a good time.
Aqua saw Sora's response and walked forward the rest of the distance between them. She then positioned herself towards the water, lowering herself to the sand to sit beside Sora. She set her hands on top of her knees, which were drawn up slightly, and she briefly remembered that the last time they were like this, Sora wasn't happy then either.

Sora kept his eyes down on the ground, noticing Aqua out of the corner of his eye. He didn't bother wasting his energy and looking up at her, and besides, he was really too tired to put that much effort into anything. He felt so weak without the Keyblade, and it didn't help that he wasn't sleeping much at night because of nightmares about Darkness.
Aqua turned her head to look at Sora, eyes full of concern. "...How've you been?" she asked him quietly, not wanting to ruin the calming peace that must have surrounded him before she arrived.
  • Author
"Not good," Sora said softly, looking down at the sand when he answered. That felt like an understatement; he really was a mess, even if he was semi-composed right now.
Aqua pressed her lips together at the answer, though she expected as much. "So, Riku and Kairi...?" she said, trailing off. When she did that, it made it seem more like a question, which she guessed was okay. Aqua was curious about what was going on between the three of them.

Sora shook his head slightly, knowing what she was getting at. No, neither of them had approached him. He could only guess that it was because they were still having nightmares after all. And if that was the case, then they couldn't stand to be around him.
"Oh..." Aqua wasn't sure what else to say other than that. Her sight diverted to the water rolling in in small waves, but she couldn't come up with any more bits of conversation after that.
  • Author
Sora heard silence except for the waves, Aqua clearly not knowing what to say. "...What's going to happen now, Master?" he asked softly, not a hint of sarcasm present in his voice when he actually called her by her title. The last time they had spoken and he used her name, she hadn't been too pleased. Sora learned his lesson, or so he thought.
Aqua closed her eyes at the name, knowing she was wrong in what she said to him a few days back. "Sora..." she started quietly, opening her eyes again, "I need to talk to you about that." She had been wrong with what she did, yelling at him and using her title for the wrong reasons. That wasn't the right way for a true Master to act.
  • Author
She needs to talk to me about what's going to happen? Sora thought, though he didn't speak aloud. Instead, he waited for Aqua to speak to him. Whatever it was she had to say, he would listen.
"I'm sorry about enforcing my title on you like that," Aqua said, turning her head to look at him. "A true Master would never do such a thing. I was just...frustrated and scared for your safety. It was the only way that I could think to keep you home."
  • Author
"No," Sora said softly in disagreement. "You are a true Master, and I failed to give you respect for that." He was the one at fault. And he deserved what ever punishment Aqua wanted to give him because of his lack of obedience.
"Mm. I think we both had a lack of respect for each other that day," Aqua admitted, easing the pressure that Sora was putting on himself, and putting some back on herself. She hadn't been very fair or nice about what she said to him then. They both made mistakes.
  • Author
Sora hummed slightly, agreeing with Aqua in that sense. They really had been getting on each other's nerves, and that was a pain. He never wanted to be on Aqua's bad side; she was a true friend, even if he hadn't known her that long.
Aqua smiled weakly at Sora's agreement, knowing then that she was right. "So I apologize for my behavior," she told him softly. "I won't treat you the same way again." It was wrong, and she realized that now. He was a good friend to her, and had been ever since she knew him ten years ago.
  • Author
"I'm sorry too," Sora said softly, his gaze on the sand when he made his confession. And along with that regret, he would be sure to give Aqua respect where it was deserved. She was his friend, but she was also a Master.
"Apology accepted," the young woman said with a small nod. Aqua was glad that he understood where she was coming from, and that she also could understand where Sora was coming from. Now they would have mutual respect for each other, which was a good thing that came out of this conversation.
  • Author
Sora felt a weak smile tug at his lips, but it went away a moment after that. As relieved as he was to be on good terms with Aqua, he really needed to be that way with his two best friends. But he wasn't about to approach them, since they must have had their reasons for avoiding him.
Aqua turned her eyes over to the water, watching it in peace. Well, not completely. She was still worried about Sora's problem with Riku and Kairi. She hoped that would all be settled soon; she didn't want to see anyone sad anymore, just as much as they probably didn't want to be.

In town a little while later, Terra was taking a walk on his own. Ven was hanging out with Roxas and Namine, and Aqua was making sure that Sora was alright. But Terra didn't mind being alone; he always had been able to stand on his own and not depend on the presence of others to make him comfortable.

Kairi had her chin in her palm, watching as some of the kids from the island ran through the shopping district and played a small game of tag. She was currently sitting by the small fountain in the middle of the area, Riku pacing in front of her. She was still tired, even if Vanitas wasn't haunting her in her sleep anymore. Losing a few weeks' worth of sleep would be hard to catch up on.

Riku had his eyebrows furrowed, one of his arms crossed over his chest while the other hand was holding his chin. He was pacing back in forth in front of Kairi, but he subconsciously side-stepped out of the way of kids when they ran by. What was going on? The Darkness no longer appeared in his dreams... Why was that?
