A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

Light hummed, glad to hear that. Destiny Islands was a beautiful world, one that she hoped to go to really soon. As soon as she was back up on her feet, she wanted to help with the restoration in any way she could.

"I left before I could see how my place looked," Riku said, his eyebrows furrowing a little as he thought about his home. He wondered if there was any damage, since he hadn't looked himself. Besides, if he went home, it would feel...weird. He hadn't been there in so long.

"Do you want to go check it out?" Lightning asked without thought. Riku wouldn't have brought this up if it wasn't important to him, unless he was just babbling to try and distract her. But he had to be curious about his home, so she ruled out the latter option.

"It can wait," Riku said, still gazing down at Light's hand. He would much rather be with her. The damage to his home could be fixed; Light's condition was more important.

"Alright," Light said with a small nod, her arm still covering her closed eyes. She wouldn't argue against Riku; with her emotional state, she would snap and say something she didn't mean. And she didn't want to hurt him.

Riku stayed silent after that, not knowing what else to say. If Light still wanted to be distracted, she would have to be specific; he couldn't come up with much else. The Islands' restoration was the only big thing other than her going on in his life.

"How's Jasmine?" Lightning asked randomly, the dog coming into her mind. She missed her, more than she could have suspected she would. She hadn't seen Jazz in a really, really long time. Sometime, maybe she could come and see Riku's companion.

Riku smiled a little, though it was mostly bitter. "I couldn't tell you," he said softly. He hadn't seen her in ages, or that was what it felt like. He barely saw her when he was with his parents the last time, so he didn't really know.

"Maybe she could stay with me for a while, while you guys are restoring the Islands?" Light suggested softly, removing her arm from over her eyes and looking over at Riku. Jazz was so hyper she'd probably get in the way of everything going on. And besides, Lightning wouldn't mind having a companion.

Riku felt Light's gaze on him and he turned his head to meet it. He nodded at the suggestion, agreeing. "Maybe," he said softly. If he could figure out a way to get Jasmine over to Cocoon, he would.

Light hummed softly, glancing down at Riku's hand holding hers after a moment. She lightly gripped it in return and gently brought it towards her face, holding the back of Riku's hand lightly against her cheek. She couldn't say why she did that; she just wanted him closer.

Riku released a small hum at the gesture, a light smile on his lips now as well. Love you, Light, he thought silently, his eyes staying on her. He couldn't wait for her to get out of the hospital, so they could be closer.

Light "hmphed," misinterpreting Riku's smile. "Are you amused to see me drugged up like this?" she asked, amusement present in her own voice. Honestly, she didn't really blame him. She knew she wasn't quite herself. But she was trying hard not to do anything stupid.

Riku shook his head, though his smile remained. "Nah," he said then. He wasn't amused, though she was a little...different. He wasn't sure what kind of different it was, but it was something.

"Then what are you?" Lightning asked, arching a brow and keeping her gaze on Riku's face. She noticed how he was still smiling, and she was wondering why that was. Was it something she said?

Riku shrugged a little. "Nothing," he said, replying in honesty. He wasn't being anything in particular, or so he thought. He was just looking at her, and being with her while she was in recovery.

"Right," Claire said, shutting her eyes and still feeling the back of Riku's hand against her cheek. She wasn't sure if she believed him, but she didn't feel like arguing. She sort of felt like she wanted to just pass out again for a while.

Riku's smile softened at Light's tone, and he only let her hand keep his against her cheek. There was something about her that told him the drugs were kicking in, or were still equally as powerful as they were before. It didn't matter if Light went to sleep; he was going to stay with her.

"I love you, Riku," Lightning said randomly, her grip on his hand loosening because she was tired. She said the words without thinking about it, but that was alright. They were truth, and truth that she wanted to share as often as she could.

"Really?" Riku asked then, lifting an eyebrow. "Are you sure that isn't the drugs talking?" He was teasing of course, because Light told him she loved him plenty of times before. And he loved her too. Always will.

"What if it is just the drugs talking?" Lightning asked with an arched brow, opening her eyes and looking to Riku. Of course that wasn't really the case, but she just wanted to hear what type of response he could formulate to answer her question.

Riku looked away at that, his eyes going to the window in the room. "Well, then I'd just be disappointed," he said, playing along. "My feelings are real, at least. But if yours aren't..." He started to pull his hand back, giving Lightning a look. He wouldn't stay if that was the case.

Light's eyes widened at what Riku said, and when he pulled away. She automatically lifted her hand and grabbed his again before he was too far away, pulling it closer to her and holding on tightly. She shut her eyes, furrowing her eyebrows a little when she suddenly felt her emotions swell. "Too much, Riku," she said softly, feeling tears gather. She couldn't handle that level of teasing right now.

Riku saw the look on Light's face and felt the tight grip she had on his hand, and his smile faded. "Right... Sorry," he said softly. He did go too far, didn't he? The drugs were obviously making Light more vulnerable, so he wouldn't push anything too far again.

Lightning nodded faintly at the apology, though it didn't make her tears go away from behind her eyes. And she kept her grip on Riku's hand, just because she couldn't bring herself to let go. Even if he was just teasing...she didn't want him to go. She didn't want to be alone.
