Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Lightning nodded slightly to Riku, bringing her side off the wall and walking over to the table. She sat down in the chair opposite Riku and glanced down at the soup, believing this was the first time he ever made soup for her. But she was sure it would be delicious.
Riku set his other hand against the back of the chair, leaning against it as he looked at Lightning. "It's not poisonous," he told her with a smirk, seeing how she stared at it. He wouldn't send her back to the hopsital for food poisoning after she just got out.

Light couldn't help but smirk, lifting her gaze to Riku. "How kind of you," she said sarcastically, her normal self coming through now that she could take a joke. Yesterday...that had just been terrible.
Riku's smirk remained, his eyes resting on the woman he loved. He hummed slightly and nodded, going along with the joke. He didn't want to boast, but he was being unlike himself, in a lot of ways. A few years ago, he never would have taken care of someone like this. Or at least, he couldn't imagine himself doing it.

"So, are you going to eat your non-poisonous food, or just stare at me?" Lightning asked, her smirk remaining on her lips. He had a bowl for himself, naturally. So she assumed that he was going to start eating before the soup got cold.
"I like the second option better," Riku replied with the same smirk, his eyes still resting on Lightning. He would stare at her all day if he could, and it didn't make him look creepy. But he highly doubted that was the case with Light. She wouldn't mind, would she?

Lightning's smirk remained, though she also arched a brow. "Your soup must not be that good if you'd rather stare at me all day than eat," she said, knowing how guys typically loved food. Riku was no exception to that rule.
Riku rolled his eyes, pulling his chair out and sitting down in it. "Eat," he said, motioning to the soup in front of Light with a nod of his head. He would too, not that he was too hungry in the first place.

Light's arched brow lowered, the girl glancing back down at her soup and nodding faintly. She normally didn't take orders, but she was hungry, so she'd let it slide. She picked up the spoon next to her bowl and had her first scoop of soup, and it was delicious, as she expected.
Riku at in silence across from Lightning, and he finished his soup just before she did. He pushed himself up from his seat and grabbed his bowl before holding a hand out for Light's, knowing that they had to be cleaned and put in the dishwasher. He would take care of it.

Claire blinked when Riku extended his hand for her bowl, the action surprising her. Normally, she was the one who did the dishes. Regardless, she handed her empty soup bowl to Riku, her eyes lifting to him. "Thanks," she said softly, even if she did feel like reminding him he didn't have to wait on her hand and foot.
Riku nodded slightly and took the bowl, turning around and stepping away from the table to approach the sink. He started to rinse out the dishes, his back to Lightning. She could go rest now, whenever she was ready. He had this taken care of.

Lightning stood up after a few moments, though she didn't go to the living room. Instead, she walked around the table and went over to Riku, standing behind him and wrapping her arms around him. She just felt like showing some affection and appreciation, since she loved Riku so much.
Riku felt one corner of his lips turn up at the feeling of Light's arms around him, the boy still rinsing out a bowl. "You should be resting," he told her softly. The doctor said she didn't need to be on her feet. But, he had to admit...he didn't mind the affection.

"I'll go lay down in a few minutes," Lightning responded softly, staying where she was. She'd go to the couch and lay down, though she would leave some room for Riku. She wanted to be close to him while he was still here.
"Hmph," Riku grunted slightly, his smile still in tact. No more than twenty minutes, he thought to himself, remembering what the doctor said. Light needed to be relaxed for the next couple days, that way she didn't put too much pressure on her heart.

Light shut her eyes and rested her forehead against Riku, her embrace around him loose enough that he could continue washing the dishes. She remembered something similar to this happening in the future, only the other way around. She had been fixing Warp's watch, and Riku had come up behind her and held it. Feels like so long ago...
Riku finished rinsing out the other bowl, a minute passing as he did so. But then he dried his hands, setting one of them on Light's arms around him. He loved her, so much. He just took in the feeling of her being with him, enjoying it. He would have this for the rest of his life...wouldn't he?

Lightning stayed still even once Riku was done, since he set his hand on her arm. She was going to miss this...so much. When Riku moved back to Destiny Islands, they were going to be separated again, at least for a little while. Why couldn't they just be together?
"You should go lay down," Riku said after a minute, running his fingers over Light's arm briefly. "I'll be there in a second." He had to put the dishes in the wash, then he would be with her.

Light nodded softly, taking her forehead off Riku and opening her eyes. "Alright," she said softly, gently withdrawing from the hold she had around Riku. When she had her arms back, she took a small step back and then turned around, going to the living room.
Riku turned his head, looking over his shoulder a little to see Light go. He smiled at her retreating figure lovingly before he focused back on the dishes. He opened the dishwasher and started setting the dirty dishes in there, that way he could start up another load. Once that was done, he would be with Light.

Lightning turned on the television and then laid down across the front of the couch, leaving some room behind her as she laid on her side. She rested her head on an arm and looked at the screen, not even paying attention to it. Her heart was bugging her a little, but it was okay. The medicine made most of the pain go away.
Riku walked into the living room, and when he saw the space behind Light, he didn't hesitate approaching the couch. He crawled in behind her, wrapping his arm around her stomach as he rested his head against a pillow propped up against the armrest. He was fine, just like this. He was with Light, so it was all okay.

Light hummed softly at Riku's closeness, a small smile forming on her lips. She lifted her arm and wrapped it over Riku's, her gaze remaining on the television. Maybe laying around for a week wasn't going to be so bad; she was happy as long as Riku was with her.
