Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku closed his eyes after a little while, just listening to the TV and feeling Light breathe underneath his arm in silence. As nice as this was, he knew this couldn't be his life, not for a while. He had to take care of his family and bring them home, as well as the other Islanders. For the moment, they were stranded, and needed to get back to where they belonged. But...after that, where did he belong?

Light lifted her hand off Riku's arm and started stroking it after a few moments, her eyes shut in both tiredness and comfort. She wondered what he was thinking about, though she also wondered if it was okay for her to pry or not. It was his business, after all.
Riku felt the light stroking, the boy relaxing even more beside Light. "Feels good," he mumbled quietly. He didn't want her to stop, but everything he had gotten used to was going to change soon. It always had; nothing stayed the same for long.

Light smiled softly, keeping up the gesture. "It's the least I can do," she murmured in response. He always did so much for her. Unfortunately for her, when she came into his life, she was hit by a bunch of terrible events that made her depend on somebody else and not be able to support him at all. But now she could, even if she did have her own problems. She was stronger.
Riku hummed softly, pulling Light a little closer automatically. He didn't want this to go away, any of it. But it would, because it always had. His life was always complicated, but he did enjoy the simplicity for a little while. He had been with Lightning, and that helped, apart from Darren and his friends being in the way.

Lightning hummed softly when Riku pulled her closer, her eyes opening. She smiled softly and turned her head so she could look at Riku out of the corner of her eye, seeing him there. She loved him, very much. And she loved feeling safe in his arms, even if there was no threat.
Riku kept his eyes closed, though he did feel a gaze on him. He couldn't mistake the eyes responsible for the stare, but he was alright with them resting on him. He always would, even if he was in a bad mood or annoyed. He would never take out his anger on Lightning again. "...Hm?" he hummed after a second, wondering what she was thinking.

Lightning turned her head and let the side of it rest on the couch again, her eyes falling shut. "Nothing," she murmured. She hadn't been thinking anything in particular, only that she wanted moments like this to last. She wanted to stay in his arms.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, keeping his eyes closed. He lowered his head a little, feeling his nose touch a few strands of Lightning's hair. That was alright, since it wasn't bothering him any. As much as he didn't want this to end, it would, and within the next few days.

"What're you thinking?" Light asked softly, rubbing Riku's arm again after she realized she stopped for a moment. He could tell her, if he wanted. If not, then he could keep it to himself. But she would like to think they had a pretty open relationship.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little, but he kept his eyes shut. "...My life's going to get complicated again," he said softly. "And I don't want it to." Every time he found simplicity, something came around to end it. He was happy on the Islands, then Hades and Jafar showed up. He was happy with Light, then Darren showed up. And now he was happy with Lightning again and he had to go back home. It wasn't fair.

Light frowned slightly. "Things will get simple again soon," she assured him softly. All their enemies were gone, his home world was restored, and soon, he and his friends would be back together again. It was going to be as it was meant to be.
Riku hummed softly, but didn't say anything more. He disagreed with that, but he didn't want to discuss what he was thinking with Lightning right now. It wasn't the time; she needed to focus on recovering from her surgery first.

Light rolled her eyes behind her closed eyelids. "I know what that hum means," she murmured. She knew that he was saying he disagreed but he didn't want to worry her with this discussion right now. She could read him well.
"Then don't push it," Riku mumbled, continuing to hold Light to his chest. He didn't want her focusing on him when she was still vulnerable. He would be alright, eventually.

"...Alright," Light said softly after a few moments. If that was what he wanted, then she wouldn't push him. But the air around them was different now that it was out in the open.
Focus on resting, Claire, Riku thought silently, lowering his head to Light's. He nuzzled his face against her hair, inhaling her scent as he tried to think of something else. I'll be alright.
  • Author
Claire sighed when Riku nuzzled against her hair, though she wasn't sure what the sigh was for. She just wanted him to be happy, but she couldn't do anything crazy right now to help him become happy. No cliff diving or surfing when she was in this state; she'd have to wait until she was completely better to do fun stuff like that with him again.

In Radiant Garden...

Kairi stood in front of a fountain that had been built during Radiant Garden's restoration, her hands linked behind her back. It was only early afternoon, but not very many residents were around. That was alright, since Sora would be joining Kairi shortly. He was still taking care of business at her former home, Destiny Islands. Kairi's eyes lowered to the water at the bottom of the fountain, seeing the marble underneath the clear water. That was something she still had to talk to Sora about: home. They were in the middle of discussing it last time, but Riku came by with a small favor, so the conversation was put off. But, Kairi didn't think it would be avoided any longer.

Sora entered Radiant Garden's atmosphere, near where he knew Kairi's temporary home was. But then he saw her red hair by a fountain, so he flew over that way, jumping off his glider when he was a few yards away. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of her, and the news he had to share with her. They could go home.
Kairi blinked, standing upright when she thought she heard a noise. She turned around, her hands falling from behind her back to hang loosely at her sides. That was when she saw the boy she had just been thinking about. "Sora," she said softly in greeting. He was back.
  • Author
"Hey, Kai," Sora greeted, still smiling behind his armor and walking over to her. His armor faded away as he walked, revealing his face and clothes. And now he could see everything clear, that including the face of the girl he loved. He had missed her.
Once the armor faded, Kairi could easily recognize the look on Sora's face, his smile dragging a smaller one out of her. "You're back so soon," she said softly. It'd only been a few days; she thought it would take at least a week. But if he was back so soon, what did that mean?
  • Author
Sora smirked slightly, opening his arms as he approached Kairi. "What, I can't come back to see the girl I love?" he asked, gently wrapping his arms around her when he was in front of her. He had missed her a lot, but he also had some news to share. Great news.
Kairi giggled once, closing her eyes when Sora wrapped his arms around her. She did the same to him, embracing him gently. She had to admit, the last few days without his warmth were difficult. But she was happy he was back.
