Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora's smile widened at Kairi's laugh, however faint it was. He lifted a hand and set it on the back of her head while also turning to kiss her red hair gently. "I missed you," he said softly, though that was pretty obvious.
Kairi couldn't help but smile softly, the kiss causing butterflies in her stomach. I see that, she thought silently to herself, one of her hands gripping the back of Sora's shirt. "I missed you too," she replied gently, meaning it deeply. How couldn't she miss someone so wonderful?

Sora's smile remained, his gaze down on the girl in his arms. It felt like he hadn't seen her much lately, which was sad. But they wouldn't have to be apart much longer. "I have news," he said softly after a moment. It was the best news they could hope for.
Kairi pulled back a little, though not enough that she and Sora had to separate. "Oh?" she asked, eyebrows lifting in curiosity. "What news?" Was it about the islands? He certainly looked and sounded pleased.

Sora took his hand off Kairi's head and set both hands on her shoulders, his gaze on her. "We can go home," he revealed softly, though his voice was obviously joyful. Finally, things were going to be right again.
Kairi blinked at that, her eyes growing. Home? The Islands? "...The Islands are okay again?" she asked softly, though that could have come off as surprise. Sora and the others would be leaving, to go back home, where they belonged.

"Yeah," Sora said with a small nod, still smiling. "We've all been checking it out the last few days and fixing some damage. It's inhabitable enough that everyone can come home, and we can rebuild our world together." He was sure the islanders would be up for the challenge.
Kairi smiled instantly. "Sora!" she said, her eyes shining with happiness as she looked to the boy she loved. "That's great!" Everyone could go back! That was wonderful! They would no longer be stranded across the worlds.

Sora chuckled at Kairi's enthusiastic reaction, the boy leaning forward and giving her a kiss on her nose before he pulled back. "I know," he said more calmly, though he was still clearly excited. They were going home, to the place where they belonged.
Kairi's smile softened at the kiss, her eyes still resting on Sora's. "When is everyone heading back?" she asked, her hands still resting on Sora's sides, his hands against her shoulders. She was purposely avoiding saying "we", since she wouldn't be going. She didn't think she could.

"The people in Twilight Town are already on their way back," Sora explained. "Everyone in Traverse Town is returning tomorrow, and then everyone here will go the next day." They needed to bring the people back as orderly as they could.
"That's great," Kairi said softly, her smile remaining genuine. Everyone got to go back home, after all these months. She was sure it wasn't just a relief to her; the Islanders were probably just as excited.

"Bet I could sneak you back in before everyone else in Radiant Garden goes," Sora said with a smirk, lightly squeezing Kairi's shoulders without noticing anything wrong. "You wanna pack up your stuff and come with me? Everyone else should be there already." Maybe even Riku would be there.
Kairi's smile faltered at the request, the girl lowering her gaze to Sora's crown necklace. "Um..." she stuttered softly. This was something they needed to talk about, since they barely scratched the surface the last time. Sora hadn't forgotten, had he?

Sora felt his smile start fading, his confidence doing the same. Why did Kairi even have to hesitate? They were talking about going home! She was so excited just a minute ago...
Kairi glanced up at Sora when there was silence, but she immediately looked back down at his chest. "...I think we need to talk," she said softly. Or...continue talking. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do... She wanted to be with her friends, but she felt that she needed to stay here, in Radiant Garden.

Sora blinked, his smile completely gone by now at Kairi's serious tone. "...Okay?" he said in confusion. What was there to talk about? Did she have something to do here before they went home?
Kairi gripped Sora's shirt, focusing on that. "We've talked about this before, but barely," she started gently. "Riku...kind of intervened the last time." She blinked, trying to figure her thoughts out so she didn't say the wrong thing. "Do you remember?" Kairi lifted her eyes to Sora then, peering up at him from under her lashes.

Sora glanced away for a second, trying to remember. When had Riku intervened? Was that...Oh yeah, when he asked me to keep an eye on Lightning for him. That was a while ago. He looked back up to Kairi, nodding. "Yeah, I remember." But they hadn't gotten deep into anything, and since Kairi hadn't brought it up, he didn't think it was a big deal.
Kairi looked back down, over to the side slightly. "Sora...I'm still thinking the same way as I was then," she admitted then. "...I don't think I should go with you, back to the Islands." The Mayor kicked her out anyway, and she wouldn't feel right going back there to live with him, even if he was compelled to do what he did. Her real home was here, where she was born.

Sora's eyes widened, his gaze on Kairi even though she looked away. "W-what?" That was all he could think to say, surprised. She had hinted at staying before, but he didn't think she was completely serious. She didn't want to go home?
Kairi glanced up again, and upon seeing Sora's expression, she instantly looked away once more. "I-I don't think it's where I really belong," she said then, her grasp still on Sora's shirt on either of his sides. "Perhaps...I'm supposed to be here, in Radiant Garden."
  • Author
"But...why?" Sora asked, not understanding why she would feel the need to stay here. She obviously belonged in Destiny Islands, with him and all their other friends. She had nothing to tie her down here. Right?
"I've been thinking lately," Kairi said, closing her eyes as she remembered the time when everyone was celebrating the world's restoration. The Princesses had been there, all of them from their respective worlds. But that was the thing... "The Princesses of Heart, other than me, all visited Radiant Garden from the world they belonged to. Truly belonged to." Kairi opened her eyes, meeting Sora's blue gaze. "...I'm originally from this world, Sora. I feel that I should stay here, as Radiant Garden's Princess of Heart."
  • Author
Sora saw Kairi did think through this logically, though not completely. "But, you don't have any family here," he said softly. She couldn't possibly want to keep living by herself like she had been doing lately. She didn't belong here, away from everyone.
