Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked away, shaking his head again. He didn't believe that. Kairi was contradicting herself, like he just said. One second she could help Radiant Garden, the next she couldn't help anyone. Why didn't she really want to go home? Was she...lying to him? That hurt, a lot.
"What?" Kairi asked then, edge in her voice. She saw that head shake out of the corner of her eye, so what was Sora doing that for? He was being pretty open with her now, telling her that she couldn't help the place she was born in. He could surely tell her what else he thought about this situation.

"Nothing," Sora mumbled. He wasn't going to dare say something like that out loud, especially when Kairi was already worked up. He wasn't that dumb. He already dug himself pretty deep into a hole, didn't he? He must have, since Kairi was so ticked at him...
"You've said what you wanted this entire conversation," Kairi said softly, though her voice held a small amount of bite. "Don't stop now." She wasn't trying to be rude; she just wanted to know what she did wrong. Why couldn't she try and help the world that used to be home to her? Why couldn't she help the people that she was a Princess to? The Islands had all of the Keyblade wielders... The world didn't need her.

"No, I'm stopping," Sora said without looking up. This had already gotten too tense. He could still hear the bite in Kairi's tone, and he knew he made her mad. He was upset too, because it seemed like she wasn't considering his feelings at all. How could she even consider splitting them apart for a world that thrived without her Light here?
Kairi didn't say anything after that. For the next few minutes, the only thing she heard was the water trickling from the fountain and birds chirping overhead. They were peaceful sounds, but Kairi didn't feel at peace at all. "...So what now?" she asked. Was Sora going to take her back to the Islands, or was there some other option she had? For right now, she didn't think she really had another choice.

Sora shut his eyes, remembering a vow he made to himself a while ago. And that was that no matter how upset he was, he wouldn't walk away from Kairi. But...he had to break that vow. "I'm gonna go," he said softly. He couldn't stick around here when he was so upset.
Kairi instantly felt the tears reappear, which had vanished because of her anger. But...Sora was just walking away? "...Okay," she said softly. She knew this wouldn't go well, but she was just expressing her feelings. Was that wrong?

Sora opened his eyes, and without looking Kairi in the eye, he leaned forward and gave her a kiss on the top of her red hair. But when he was done, he turned and started walking away. That kiss was his way of saying "I love you".
Kairi closed her eyes at that, her lip immediately beginning to quiver. She pressed them together, that way it would stop, but the gesture pulled at her heart strings. Sora, she wanted to say, but she couldn't find her voice. Don't go.

Sora kept his gaze forward, knowing turning back wouldn't be wise. But he didn't lift a hand to hit his armor, either. He didn't want to walk away, but...he had to. He didn't want Kairi seeing him so upset because of her decision. It was her life...she had to decide what she wanted.
Kairi kept her position, the same thoughts running through her head. She didn't want Sora to go; she couldn't live without him. And even if she did stay in Radiant Garden and they were separated, she would at least feel secure about their relationship. Now...she didn't. Without her knowledge, her heart took matters into its own hands. "Don't go...please."

Sora's hands curled into fists by his sides, the brunet stopping when Kairi called out to his heart. He didn't want to go, but like he kept telling himself, he had to. But how could he refuse her desire for him to stay? He would only hurt her more...
Kairi wasn't aware of what her heart did, or that Sora stopped walking. She kept her eyes closed as she wiped at her lashes, trying to get rid of the tears that threatened to spill. She couldn't cry, not now. She drove Sora away. It was her fault he was leaving.

Staying would hurt her more, Sora told himself. Walk away. He started going again, though his heart sent a weak apology to Kairi's. "Sorry, Kairi." He couldn't stay when he was like this; he was hurting her.
Kairi brought a hand to her mouth upon hearing the message, not wanting to cry. Don't cry, she kept telling herself. She couldn't do it until he was truly gone; because she didn't see him, she thought the message meant he was getting ready to leave the atmosphere. After all, their hearts were only in complete contact when they were on the same world.

"Don't cry," Sora couldn't help but say, sensing her emotions. "It's my fault." He was the idiot who started all of this by trying to force his opinion on Kairi. He should have known better. He kept walking, still within Kairi's sight.
Kairi's eyebrows furrowed at that, and she turned her head, her eyes open now to locate Sora. Once she saw him, she took a step forward, her arms coming down to her sides. "No it's not!" she called to him, her voice trembling because of her emotions. This wasn't his fault...not entirely. She had to take responsibility too.
  • Author
...Yes it is, Sora silently thought, the thought staying private. But his actions probably conveyed that as well, since he was still walking. He was at fault, and in order to stop hurting her, he needed to get away and take a breather. They'd finish this talk later.
Kairi's hands balled into fists at his retreating figure, her eyes watering even more. "Sora!" she hollered. He wasn't really walking away, was he? He wasn't like that... He wouldn't do it.
  • Author
The hand Sora lifted to hit his armor stopped right by it, his feet also stopping. He couldn't walk away...not when she was in so much pain. It wasn't in him to leave her alone when she was hurting.
"...Don't walk away!" Kairi called, her emotion coming through in her voice, which she wasn't too surprised about. Don't leave me by myself. Not right now. She couldn't handle it, or any fight with him. Everytime she and Sora argued, she felt like she was losing him.
  • Author
Sora shut his eyes, lowering the hand away from his shoulder guard and back down to his side. "...Alright." He wouldn't walk away. He just didn't want to stay and hurt her...He didn't know what to think over this whole situation.
Kairi's form relaxed, but only a little bit, at the silent response. She blinked, causing tears to leave her eyes. She wanted Sora to stay...even if she said okay to him leaving. She never wanted him to leave...ever.
  • Author
Sora silently stayed where he was, his back still to Kairi. He didn't dare turn around yet, not sure what emotions were expressed on his face. He was getting better at hiding them, though, since some of Riku's teasing got to him. He called him a girl for being emotional, and he wasn't meant to be the girl in his and Kairi's relationship. He was supposed to be strong, for her.
