Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas didn't say anything to Namine, despite the look on her face. What could he say that he hadn't already told her? He squeezed her knee before turning his head back to look up at the fireworks, sure the show was almost over. Once it was, Kairi would probably stick around a little while longer for the rest of the festival, and then go back to her new home. Everyone would have to say goodbye.

Namine glanced over at Roxas when he looked away, biting her tongue so she didn't ask her question. It would only upset him more. She instead released the railing with her hand closest to Roxas and set the hand on the top of his head, her fingers lightly between some of his spikes. I'm already losing my best friend; I hope I don't lose you too. He could be pulled away at any time, since he was a Keyblade wielder.
Roxas felt the hand in his spikes, and he only squeezed Namine's knee again as the finale to the show went off. Love you, he thought silently. He knew she was having a rough time, but he wouldn't leave her side for any reason other than Darkness. It was to protect her, if he left. Always.

Namine started playing with Roxas's spikes, her eyes following the motion and ignoring the finale of the show. She didn't really care about fireworks, not today. She thought that this was when everything was going to be alright, but it was the opposite. It was awful she had her hopes set so high only for it all to come crumbling down.
Once the fireworks ended, there was a round of applause for the show, but Roxas only turned around to face Namine. "C'mon," he said, lifting his hands to her waist so he could help her down. They would go to the festival just down the beach and try to have some fun, at least for a little while.

Namine took her hand out of Roxas's hair, setting both hands on his shoulders and accepting his help down. She lightly jumped down, keeping her hands where they were even when she was standing. "Where're we going?" she asked softly.
"Back to the festival with the others," Roxas said, glancing away from Namine to see people already going down the beach. "We'll hang out with Kairi, okay?" He looked back to her and smiled ever so slightly, knowing she wanted to spend as much time with Kairi as possible before she took off.

Namine looked down at Roxas's chest at the mention of Kairi, her expression remaining unenthusiastic. "I don't know if it's such a good idea for Kairi to see me like this," she said softly. She was clearly upset; she wasn't even going to try to put on a happy face.
Roxas nodded slightly, his eyes still resting on the girl he loved. "It's up to you," he said softly. If she didn't want to be with Kairi right now, they wouldn't be. Regardless, Roxas was going to be with Namine, since she needed someone right now.

"...If I don't see her tonight, can we visit sometime soon?" Namine asked Roxas softly, looking up at his face and finding his bright blue eyes. Once she recovered from the betrayal, she was sure she would feel bad for not spending time with Kairi, and she would want to fix that. But today, she just couldn't face her best friend.
"Yeah, of course," Roxas said with a small, encouraging smile. There would be no problem with that. They could take his glider and spend the day with Kairi, just like Namine wanted.

Namine saw Roxas's small smile, but one didn't appear on her lips because of it. Not today. "...Is it selfish for me not to be with her because I'm upset?" she asked her boyfriend softly, wanting an honest answer. If it was...she didn't know what she'd do.
Roxas's smile faded a little at that, and he glanced away. "Well, not really," he said softly. "I mean, it's understandable why you're upset. We all kinda are." He furrowed his eyebrows a little, thinking of what Kairi told them. She felt she needed to stay in Radiant Garden to help the people there, even if that meant leaving them all behind. He could tell she had good reason by the way she was so confident in it, but still...

Namine nodded slightly, looking down to his chest. She knew she would regret not being with Kairi tonight, but she would regret more if she made her feel more guilty for her decision. Even if she did deserve the guilt for springing this on all of them today...Well, Namine still didn't want to make her feel bad.
Roxas squeezed Namine's waist with both hands. "C'mon," he said softly, his eyes on hers. "Let's go get some cotton candy or something." He was being a little corny, but that was alright. Namine needed to be cheered up, and he would gladly do it.

An involuntary giggle left Namine's lips when Roxas squeezed her waist, the blonde ticklish. She smiled weakly and looked up at his face, nodding. She could go for some cotton candy. And she knew that Roxas would do whatever she wanted tonight without giving her a hard time. ...Am I selfish for keeping him by my side and not with Kairi, though?
Roxas smiled at that giggle, and he let his hands leave Namine's waist. One arm came up to her shoulders and he looked down at her, starting to lead her away from their spot next to the railing. It was time to celebrate being home.

Namine wrapped an arm around Roxas's lower back, the girl lightly leaning into him as she let him lead her. Most of the people were already gone, including her friends. She supposed her plan was to avoid them the majority of the night, like she had done during the day. That was just what she had to do to keep from breaking down.
Kairi walked beside Riku, who was still separating her from Sora. She guessed it was okay, since she didn't know how to act around him anyway. She just took in the feeling of the sand beneath her feet and the smell of the ocean air, knowing she was going to miss it even if she belonged in Radiant Garden. Or so she told herself.

Sora glanced down at the ground for a moment before he looked back up, seeing the carnival area up ahead. Why were they even going to this? It wasn't like any of them were actually going to have fun. But this was what Kairi said she wanted, so this was what they were doing. He'd put on a mask the best he could to please her.

Riku ran a hand over his silver hair, looking from the carnival up ahead to his side, down at Kairi. "So, what first?" he asked. He saw her shrug, noticing that she was really quiet. He knew the reason why, but he didn't question it.

"...Maybe just some games first," Kairi said after a second, knowing that she had some munny left over from a while ago. "I'm not up for rides right now." She didn't feel like going on the ferris wheel or anything like that, at least not at the moment.

Sora fought the urge to lift a hand to his hair and rub the back of his head, knowing that he did that whenever he felt uncomfortable. "...I can win you something, if you want," he said after a moment, eyes searching the games. He could get her a stuffed animal or something she could keep with her...
Kairi looked past Riku at the offer, and she smiled weakly. "Thanks, Sora," she said softly. She would appreciate that; perhaps he could win her something for keepsake. She knew that she would miss him...greatly.

Sora hummed, nodding slightly as he looked across Riku to Kairi. "Just point me to which game you want me to play," he said with a weak smile. He was sure that he could win her something, especially if it was a game that involved accuracy or strength.
Kairi met Sora's eyes, but she looked away since they were near the games section of the festival. "Um...that one," she said, pointing at one of them. It was one where Sora would have to throw a baseball at bottles, one of the more popular games at the carnival.
