Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi's smile softened at that, the girl squeezing Sora's hand. She took a small step closer to him, her eyes stuck on his. "You'll visit, right?" she asked softly. Once a week, maybe? She could live with that. But once a month would be hard for her; she needed Sora's optimism. Helping Radiant Garden wasn't going to be easy, and neither would being away from the Islands.

"Of course," Sora said, mimicking what Kairi said just a minute ago. He was going to visit as often as he could, which was however often he could convince his parents to let him go. He didn't know how that would work out, though; they were already clinging to him now that they were at home again.
"Thank you," Kairi couldn't help but say, her eyes expressing her gratitude and love for the boy before her as well. He was letting her go, and yet he wasn't giving up on her. That was great, since she had feared those responses.

Sora hummed, nodding faintly as he took a small step closer to Kairi. He lifted a hand and set it on the back of her head, gently bringing it a little closer as he kissed her forehead. That peck just a few minutes ago hadn't been good enough for him.
Kairi's eyes naturally fell closed at the gesture, her smile widening ever so slightly because of the kiss. She tightened her grasp on Sora's hand, completely neglecting that they were standing in the middle of a festival, in front of hundreds of people on the Islands. They knew they loved each other to an incredible degree; she had no shame expressing it publicly. Clearly, Sora didn't either.

Sora pulled back after a few seconds, looking down and seeing Kairi's content smile. That made him smile again, just because she was so beautiful when she smiled. And he loved being able to bring that out of her, too. It proved to him that they were meant to be together.
Kairi felt Sora's gaze on her, and she opened her eyes to meet it. She didn't know what to say, or if anything was to be said. She was content, just like this. But come tomorrow, when Sora wasn't with her, how would she feel?

Sora just looked down at Kairi without saying anything, his hand remaining on the back of her head. He really didn't have anything to say about her leaving; she already knew how he felt. He didn't approve of it, but he wasn't going to hold her back. He couldn't make this decision for her.
Kairi thought of something just then, and she decided to ask Sora about it. "Sora....what if things don't work out in Radiant Garden?" she asked him gently, speaking over the loud noises around them. "What will I do?" If she really didn't belong there, what would she do with herself? There was no place for her to stay here.
  • Author
"Then you'll be welcome back here," Sora assured her gently. They could find her a new home, or she could make amends with the mayor. He wasn't sure which of those Namine was choosing to do right now, since the mayor technically kicked her out too.
"....But where would I live?" Kairi asked then, her eyebrows furrowing a little as her smile finally disappeared. She could go back and live with the mayor, but that didn't feel right to her for two reasons. The first was because he kicked her out, whether he was himself or not. The second reason: she was nearly eighteen. It was almost time she got her own place anyway.

"Either you can set things right with the mayor or look at other options," Sora said gently, his voice normal level and not quiet because of the noise. "Whatever the case, there'll always be a place for you here." He was sure of it.
Kairi looked up at Sora with the same questioning expression, her eyes on his. "With you?" she asked softly. Could they...get their own place if things didn't work out? Just the two of them? Or would that be asking too much?
  • Author
"I wouldn't mind that," Sora admitted gently. But there was a lot that went into that. He wasn't an adult yet, and even when he became one, his parents weren't making him move out right away. He wanted to have some munny in the bank before he moved out, which was why he was going to start looking for a job soon. He wanted to be prepared for a future with Kairi.
Kairi smiled ever so slightly, silently agreeing. She wouldn't mind that either, not at all. A future with Sora was what she wanted, and having a home with him... It was the next big step in their relationship, or so she believed. It would be...nice.

If Kairi were to move back, Sora knew what he would do. He would propose to her. He knew for a long time that he only wanted to marry her, and he wanted to do that sooner rather than later. He wanted to be married to her, pledged to make her happy the rest of her life.
Kairi thought she saw a twinkle in Sora's eyes, and she smiled a little before pushing herself up on her toes, giving him a small kiss on the lips. She didn't know what he was thinking about, but it was obviously something good, or else he wouldn't have had that look in his blue eyes.

Sora was surprised at the random kiss, but he would never mind any kiss coming from Kairi. His hand remained on the back of her head as he gently kissed her back, their surroundings not bothering him.
Kairi's eyes were closed as she kissed Sora, her hand in his still. She disregarded that they were in public; their love was too great to keep hidden from everyone else. Besides, she wanted to show everyone that she was his, and he was hers. Forever. That was never going to change.

Sora kissed Kairi for a few more moments before he pulled back, his eyes opening to look down at her as he stayed close. He noticed the area was getting quieter, because a lot of people were going home. Was that their cue too?
Kairi opened her eyes once the kiss was done, able to see Sora's blue orbs even if it was dark; the lights from the festival helped with that. But she did notice that the noise around them had lessened, which meant some people were going home and the festivities were over. That meant the night was over for her too. Her last night on the Islands was coming to a close.

Sora looked around the area, not seeing any of their friends around. "Wonder where everyone went," he wondered aloud. Riku had been with them before the game, and he thought he saw Ven and Lightning in the area too. He saw Roxas at the fireworks with Namine, but he hadn't seen either of them since then. And it was the same for Terra and Aqua.
Kairi looked down at Sora's chest, and with a little sadness. "They went home," she guessed softly. Nobody wants to say goodbye... That was alright. She wouldn't chase them down; she'd only be disturbing them.

Sora blinked at Kairi's tone, looking back down at her. "Of course they didn't just go home," he assured her softly, moving his hand from her head to her shoulder. "They're probably just in another area." They couldn't see the whole carnival from here, after all, so his friends were probably elsewhere. He couldn't picture anyone not saying goodbye to Kairi.
Kairi looked back up at Sora, nodding slightly to show she heard and understood what he said. RIght, they were somewhere else. She figured at least a few people would say goodbye to her, if not all of her friends. But, she knew some were disappointed in her decision; she wasn't blind.
