Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Do you wanna go look for them now?" Sora asked, though there was another unspoken question implied in that one. Are you about ready to go? She had to get home sometime, and things were closing down here. Their time was almost up.
"Yeah, sure," Kairi said with another small nod, her eyes resting on Sora's for another moment before she glanced away. The place was closing down, which meant she had to go soon. After she said goodbye to everyone, of course.

Sora nodded softly, finally letting go of Kairi's hand and taking his other off her shoulder. He wrapped an arm around her and then led her down the path, hoping his friends were pretty close by. Let's get this over with.
Aqua was just down the beach, standing with Terra, Ven, Lightning, and Riku. She had a feeling Sora and Kairi were still lingering in the festival, since she saw them there earlier. However, she wasn't sure where Namine and Roxas were, or if they would even say farewell to Kairi before she left. That was most likely soon, given the time.

Sora saw a group up ahead, their figures becoming more clear as he and Kairi approached. And he recognized them as their friends. "See, I told you they didn't just go home," he said softly to Kairi, lightly squeezing her with the arm he had around her shoulders. But he noticed two people were missing from the group.
Kairi glanced up at Sora and smiled briefly, her eyes finding the group of people up ahead. She wasn't looking forward to this farewell, but this was her choice. She had to suffer the consequences, including sadness.

Sora caught some people in the group turn around and see them coming, making room for them in the circle. He took his arm back from around Kairi when they stopped, at least knowing that she'd want to hug Riku before she left. And Aqua would probably want a hug too.

Riku looked over to the side slightly, seeing Kairi and Sora enter the circle. "Hey," he said to them, though his eyes were mostly on Kairi now. "You heading out?" It was getting late, so he imagined so.

"Mm," Kairi hummed softly, nodding a little as she kept her prize under her arm. She caught Riku's weak smile, which caused emotions to immediately rise within her. She just stared at him for a second, feeling all eyes on her before she turned to Sora, offering her prize to him for the moment. She had to say goodbye.

Sora looked to the prize, humming and taking it out of Kairi's grasp. He knew what she was thinking, because he was sure everybody in the group was thinking the same thing. It was time to say farewell.

Once the prize was out of her hands, Kairi immediately turned back to face her friends. She made eye contact with Aqua first, and she stepped forward, giving the older girl a hug. She was going to miss her, since they were close. She was the one who sent her to the Islands in the first place, and for that she was forever grateful.

Aqua smiled sadly as she hugged Kairi back, her eyes closed for the moment. She gave the girl a small squeeze before pulling back. "Stay strong," she advised her with a soft smile. Kairi was already being brave by going out on her own; she'd be alright as long as she kept the same strength.

Kairi smiled weakly and nodded, releasing Aqua then. She would try her hardest, though it was going to be difficult. Without her friends, when she was alone, a lot of things were complicated.

Lightning noticed that nobody spoke for a brief moment, so she was going to get out her short goodbye. "Good luck," she said to Kairi, hearing Terra hum in agreement beside Aqua. That was all she really had to say; she wasn't going to get sappy, since she didn't know Kairi that well. And even if she did, she still wouldn't be a sap.
Kairi looked to Terra at the hum, but then she turned, her eyes falling on Lightning. She smiled softly and nodded. "Thank you," she said, her gratitude coming through in her voice. She would need that luck, since this was going to be hard. She knew that when she even made the decision to leave.

Light nodded slightly, forcing a weak smile of encouragement. She really didn't smile much, but this was for Kairi's sake, since Lightning knew not many people knew what to make of her strict expression all the time. She would put in a little more effort to not be cold to her boyfriend's best friend.
Kairi looked from Lightning to the boy beside her, her eyes falling on Ventus. She smiled weakly at the sight of him, knowing that she was going to miss his optimism and fun games while she was gone, however long that would be.

Ven smiled faintly, lifting a hand and ruffling the back of his spiky head. "Have fun, okay?" He knew she was going to try and do some work, whatever that entailed. She should at least enjoy living there, though; he knew that the world was a good one.
Kairi linked her hands behind her back and hummed softly. "I'll try my best," she replied gently with a small nod. She loved kids, so hopefully she could help out with a daycare center of some sort, or at least help build one if that was still needed. She would have fun with that, but she was sure she would have fun amidst her work, whatever it was.

Sora glanced around the area while Kairi wasn't looking, not seeing Roxas and Namine in the area. For some reason, he wasn't too surprised. He caught how upset Namine was earlier, and Roxas probably was sticking with her. So they probably weren't coming to say goodbye.

Kairi looked from Ven in the silence to Riku, her eyes finding his aqua ones immediately. He gave that usual half-smile and she instantly walked forward, wrapping her arms around his back and burying her head in his chest. Riku... Her best friend. She was going to miss him.

Riku put a hand on the back of Kairi's head, his other arm around her shoulders. He was surprised she hadn't cried yet, but she was strong; she would keep it inside until she was alone. She was too stubborn sometimes to cry in front of others, unlike the time when the Mayor first kicked her out. He remembered that goodbye being worse than any other before.

Sora looked to Kairi and Riku after he was sure that Roxas and Namine weren't in the area, his eyes soft at the sight. Their trio was being split up again...He couldn't ignore that reality. He hated this situation, but that was how things were.

Riku looked down at Kairi, gently squeezing her in their hug. When she pulled back and looked up at him, he smiled crookedly at her. "Don't forget, you won't be getting rid of us that easily," he told her softly. "We'll be visiting soon." She wasn't leaving them completely.

Kairi fought tears, nodding as she looked up at her best friend. "Thanks, Riku," she said softly, receiving a nod in return. She appreciated his comfort, though she had to step out of his strong arms and away from the secure embrace. She looked around, noticing that two people were missing. Oh...she thought silently, her eyes softening when she realized what was going on. "I...guess that's everyone." Kairi turned her head, looking to Sora. Roxas and Namine weren't coming.

Sora nodded slightly at Kairi, eyes soft. He figured that out while she was saying her goodbyes. He didn't know the exact reason their other friends weren't coming, but he was sure they had a good excuse. "Are you ready to go?" he asked softly.
"Mm," Kairi hummed with a small nod. She was as ready as she would ever be, and if she didn't leave now, she never would. She knew some people wouldn't have a problem with it, but she already had her stuff back at her home in Radiant Garden. That was where she was supposed to be right now.

Sora nodded again, shifting his gaze to the rest of the group. "See you guys later," he said with a faint wave, getting a nod out of a few of them. He would be back later tonight. He took a few steps back from the group and pressed his armor, light engulfing him for a moment before it faded and the full armor appeared.
Kairi walked out of the circle as well, waiting for Sora to summon his glider to him next. After that, they would be off. Namine and Roxas knew she was leaving, and yet they didn't come to say goodbye? Some other time, she thought sadly, looking from Sora to the sand one last time.
  • Author
Lightning watched Sora summon his glider and get onto it, offering Kairi a hand as he hovered close to the ground. She hoped things would go well in Radiant Garden with Kairi's Light around, since Radiant Garden was once her home. She did consider moving back sometimes, but she had no family left there, so Cocoon seemed like a better choice. Or Destiny Islands.
