Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi took Sora's hand and climbed onto the glider behind him, her arms wrapping securely around his stomach so she could hold on. She looked over at her friends and caught a few of them waving, and she nodded to them in farewell. See you soon.

Sora set a gloved hand on Kairi's arms even if she had a secure hold, the boy not taking chances. He looked over to his friends and nodded slightly to them in goodbye before he flew to the portal he had summoned, exiting the atmosphere of his home world to take Kairi to hers.
Riku watched his friends disappear, his eyes on the portal as it faded. He sighed and crossed his arms over his chest, his crooked smile immediately vanishing. He was going to miss Kairi, no doubt. He was so used to having her around.

Namine watched Sora and Kairi disappear from her spot on the Play Island, her eyes soft with sorrow. She didn't like it being this way, but she couldn't face Kairi when she was like this. She would try to visit her soon, and explain why she avoided her today then. She couldn't stay mad at her best friend for too long, right?
Roxas sat back, leaning against his hands as he saw Sora and Kairi leave the Islands. "There she goes," he said softly without thought. Kairi was going back to Radiant Garden, for however long she planned to stay. Right now, it seemed as if it was just until the world was restored. It didn't seem like a permanent stay.

Namine looked down to the sand, the girl lifting her legs and wrapping her arms around them when they were in front of her chest. Yeah, there she went. I'm such a terrible person for not putting my emotions aside and saying goodbye. What kind of a friend was she?
Roxas looked from the stars to Namine when she moved, his eyes softening. "Don't worry about not saying goodbye," he told her quietly, knowing what she was thinking about. "We can go see her in a few days, once things around here calm down." There was nothing to worry about, because Namine would see Kairi again. The two were like sisters. Roxas would make sure it happened.

Namine hummed, though she disagreed. She would worry about it, because she would have been upset if her and Kairi's roles had been switched. They were best friends, and Namine avoided her the whole day because of her decision. She felt like a terrible friend.
Roxas furrowed his eyebrows slightly in concern when Namine remained silent, the hum not really what he considered a response. He lifted a hand and set it on the back of her head. "Namine..." he said softly. It was all going to be okay. She just had to believe that.

"I know," Namine interrupted softly, her gaze staying on the ground. "'Don't worry.'" That was what he was trying to convey, but she was still going to worry, and not just about Kairi. She didn't have a home here; she had been planning on going wherever Kairi went. She had nowhere to go. Did she even belong here anymore?
"Just...trust me," Roxas said softly, glancing down at the sand before looking back to Namine's face. If she could do that, everything would turn out alright. He would make sure of it.

Namine shook her head slightly, not to go against trusting Roxas (because she obviously believed in him), but to go against what he was implying. "You can't change the situation, Roxas," she stated softly. He couldn't bring Kairi back, and he couldn't get her a home. She couldn't just go to his, because that was Sora's house, not his.
Roxas looked away, letting his hand fall from Namine's head. What were they supposed to do now that Kairi was gone? Namine had nowhere to stay, and they were all devastated by the redhead leaving in the first place. He wanted Namine to stay with him, but...it wouldn't be right for him to invite her, since Sora's parents didn't know. And Riku had Light staying at his house for the night, while Terra, Aqua, and Ven had a full house. They were stuck.

Namine let one arm release her legs, the girl starting to doodle in the sand next to her with her free hand. Her soft blue eyes followed it, the girl thinking about what she could call home. There was no place for her here tonight...She supposed she could go to that old mansion in Twilight Town, since she lived a year of her life there.
Roxas stared out at the water rolling in for a little while, but then he thought of something he and Namine had done before. "Stay with me tonight," he said softly. "Just once...until we get things figured out." She needed someone anyway, and he wanted to be there for her. Besides, she'd stayed in his room before. It was no big deal.
  • Author
"But...Sora's parents..." Namine said softly, no longer doodling as she looked out to the ocean. Roxas lived with them, so it wasn't right for Namine to just come in uninvited by them. She liked Sora's parents; she didn't want to disrespect them by showing up without permission.
"We've done it before," Roxas said in his defense, looking over at Namine. "One night isn't that big of a deal...right?" She could just stay tonight, until they figured something else out. It wouldn't be that bad.
  • Author
"A lot's changed since then," Namine pointed out softly, turning her head to look at Roxas. "What if his parents just want to be with you two? You two are family..." ...And I'm not. Roxas really was like a son to Sora's parents. And Namine wasn't a part of that.
Roxas didn't know how to respond to that, his eyebrows only furrowing as he looked away. He didn't have an answer to that, so he couldn't tell Namine anything. Unless she went and talked to the Mayor. He had to figure out by now that he made a mistake...right?
  • Author
That's what I thought, Namine told herself upon hearing Roxas's silent response. He didn't know either. She didn't want to shut him down, but his idea wasn't going to work. She had no clue what else to do though...There was no place for her here. Maybe that was a sign she was meant to leave too.
You're...homeless, Roxas thought, the words directed to Namine. She had nowhere to go, and that left even him feeling lost. But...she wasn't in this alone. He was going to be there, wherever she was, with her. So, what were they going to do?
  • Author
I can't even go back to where I was staying in Traverse Town, Namine thought, gaze down on her feet in the sand. They weren't going to keep Destiny Islands residents there for free now that the world was restored. There was only one place she could go, a place that she hated. "...I guess I could go to the mansion in Twilight Town," she said, her voice nearly a whisper.
Roxas instantly tensed at the suggestion, his expression showing one of disapproval. "No," he said, his voice firm. No way was she leaving too. Namine wasn't going either...she couldn't.
  • Author
Namine tensed at Roxas's tone, one she hadn't expected to hear so harshly. That was her only idea, and she figured Roxas was out of ideas too. It was her only option as far as she could tell.
Roxas's hands immediately formed fists, and he closed his eyes as he tried to calm himself down. Just thinking of that mansion made him angry; all that happened there was awful. DiZ, Axel...Namine being imprisoned there for a year. He hated it. But, if she was to go, there was a catch. "...If you go, I'm going with you," he said, his voice softer than before, though tense.
