Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine shook her head softly, disagreeing. "You can't," she said quietly. "You have a family here." Sora's family was now Roxas's family too, like she had said earlier. They would want all of them being together. So he couldn't disappear for the night to be with her. ...She'd have to be alone in a place that sometimes haunted her dreams.
"No," Roxas said again, opening his eyes and turning his head to look at the girl he loved. "If you stay anywhere, it's going to be with me or with Kairi. She has the extra room you need." Kairi had a whole house to herself now; Namine could stay with her.

Namine felt defensive at the mention of Kairi, her gaze going over to Roxas as her eyebrows furrowed slightly behind her bangs. "How am I supposed to live with her when I couldn't even face her to say goodbye?" she asked, her question being rhetorical. She couldn't face Kairi. Staying with her wasn't an option.
"You won't have to worry about saying goodbye if you stay with her," Roxas said, his tone still tight. Namine was insisting on going to the mansion still, wasn't she? No way! That isn't happening!
  • Author
"That's not what I'm worried about now!" Namine said in frustration. "She has to be upset with me for avoiding her all day. I'm not going to force myself on her when things aren't alright between us!" But that wasn't what she was really worried about either. ...I can't face her, not when I feel so betrayed...
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed even more. "You two are as close as sisters, Namine," he said lowly. "Do you honestly think she'll turn you down?" Kairi wasn't like that... She would take Namine in. Roxas knew she would.

Namine shook her head, looking away. She couldn't argue that, because she knew Kairi would, but she didn't want to stay with her. They were as close as sisters, like Roxas said, which was why Namine was so hurt and betrayed Kairi didn't tell her what she was doing until she told everyone else.
Roxas sighed, shaking his head as he looked away. "All I'm saying is that if you go to the Mansion, I'm coming too," he said lowly. "I won't let you go alone." Not there. That place was creepy, even after the last few years.

Namine shook her head softly again, gaze on the ground. "You need to be with your family," she reminded him softly. He couldn't stay with her. No matter how he kept saying she wouldn't be staying there alone, she had no other choice.
Roxas looked out at the waves, the darkness making them look black. "If I'm supposed to be with mine, then so are you," he said softly. Namine had a family too, and that was Kairi.
  • Author
"Apparently not, since she left me," Namine mumbled, though she wasn't sure if Roxas was supposed to understand her or not. She felt moisture appear in her eyes, her gaze on the sand. Kairi left her here by herself without saying anything special to her. She got the same speech as their other friends, who Kairi wasn't nearly as close to. She hardly felt like family right now.
Roxas closed his eyes at that, getting the message. Namine...felt betrayed. He could understand that, and it was unfortunate that it was the case. "Namine..." he said softly, though he wasn't sure what to say afterward. She could do anything but stay in that mansion alone. No way.
  • Author
Namine shut her eyes at Roxas's tone, knowing that he heard her. Oh well, whatever. She made it pretty obvious that she was upset with Kairi, and now he had a better understanding of what she wasn't feeling. It wasn't just shock and sadness that her sister was going; it was betrayal.
"...I don't know what she was thinking," Roxas said then, referring to Kairi, "but...don't make it harder on yourself." He turned his head to look at her, his blue eyes softer now as they rested on her face. "Going out on your own will make you miserable, and you know it."
  • Author
"Seeing her will make it worse," Namine said softly in disagreement. Even if it meant she had to be alone in a place where she was prisoner for a year...That was how strongly she felt about Kairi's betrayal. She would rather face her nightmares than her best friend.
"Now you're just being dramatic," Roxas said, impulse taking over. Namine couldn't be serious, right? She was taking this way too far... Kairi probably wasn't thinking straight and just neglected to tell her because she was confused.
  • Author
Namine furrowed her eyebrows over her closed eyes, her hands automatically turning into fists. How could Roxas accuse her of that! This was what she was feeling, and it was real to her. She hardly ever made a big deal about something, and just because this was a bigger issue to her, he was calling her dramatic. That hurt.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed, the boy glancing down to see Namine's fists. He lifted his sight back to her face. "Think about it for a second before you say or do anything," he told her. "Kairi had to have had her reasons, right? She loves you like family because you are family. She wouldn't neglect you on purpose."
  • Author
She should have thought it through if she really felt that strongly about our "family", Roxas, Namine thought silently. Namine needed Kairi in her life, but Kairi didn't need her. She was closer to everyone than Namine was because Namine was so quiet. ...She was a nobody and a Nobody.
Roxas leaned closer to the girl he loved, his eyes still resting on her. "Namine, look at me," he said then, his voice firm. She couldn't be serious about this, any of it. It was stupid that she thought Kairi didn't care about her. They were family.
  • Author
Namine shook her head slightly, hearing Roxas's displeased tone. She didn't want to look in his eyes right now, because she knew how he felt about all of this. He thought she was just being dramatic.
Roxas didn't believe this, seeing that Namine was refusing to look at him. "Namine," he said softly, lifting his hand opposite her to touch her chin and turn her face toward him. "C'mon..." Don't be mad.
  • Author
Namine lifted her hand and grabbed Roxas's when he tried turning her head, the girl not letting him. "Forget it," she mumbled. "You just think I'm being dramatic." That was how he felt, so what was the point of him trying to convince her he saw this as a real issue? It was too late for that.
"Okay, maybe I was wrong then, and I'm sorry. But..." Roxas shook his head, looking from the hand that gripped his to Namine. "What do you call this?" He didn't think this was reasonable. She was being really...edgy, and she had her reasons, but she didn't need to take it out on him.

Namine opened her eyes, looking down at her knees since her head was already lowered. "Me being betrayed by somebody I've always adored and looked up to. That's what I call it," she said, her voice just a whisper. She always admired Kairi's strength, wisdom, and care. Now Kairi had the strength to leave her behind without really caring what would happen to her. How could Kairi have not even considered her sooner?
