Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas looked down at the hand that was in Namine's, and he pulled it out of her grasp in silence. He turned to look ahead. "...Right," he said sadly, hating that this was happening and he couldn't change Namine's mind. She was set on leaving, but what about her betraying him by doing just that? He didn't want her to go...

Namine sighed, lowering her head to her knees. "Maybe...I could stay in a tree house out here?" she said after a moment or two, surprised she hadn't thought of that before. She had slept out here a few times before, with a group. But she could be by herself here. It was better than Twilight Town since it wouldn't give her nightmares.
"...Alone?" Roxas asked after a second's hesitation. It was on the Islands, so surely he could stay with her tonight...right? Sora's parents--his parents--wouldn't mind, would they? Of course, it was up to Namine as well.
  • Author
"You have to be with your family, remember?" Namine reminded him softly for at least the third time. Sora's parents were already clinging with him, or so she heard. They would probably be the same with Roxas.
"But what about what I want?" Roxas asked then, his eyebrows furrowing. He appreciated that Sora's parents cared so much, and that he had a family. But...he loved Namine. She was even more than family to him; she had his heart, his love. Didn't that mean anything?
  • Author
"If they approve of it, then okay," Namine said with a sigh, giving in. Roxas obviously wasn't going to budge, and she didn't want to argue with him. So if his parents said he could, then he could join her. If not, then he had to stay with them.
Roxas's eyes found Namine at the sigh, not understanding why that was added in. "Unless I don't have your permission, of course," he said then. It was up to her too. If she really didn't want him intruding, he wouldn't.
  • Author
"You have permission," Namine whispered, speaking for herself. She did want to be with him, but she also wanted to be alone to get some tears of frustration and sorrow out. She didn't want to be accused of being dramatic again.
Roxas nodded once and then pushed himself up from the ground, brushing the sand off his pants. He guessed they would be going now, that way they could get the stuff they needed to sleep here. He offered a hand to Namine, that way he could help her up.

Namine lifted her forehead off her knees and looked over at Roxas, seeing him offering her his hand. "...Can I wait here? Please?" she asked softly. She said it was okay for him to stay with her for the night, but she still needed a little bit of time alone.
Roxas's fingers curled back into his palm, the boy loweing his hand back to his side as he nodded. "Yeah," he said softly. "Be back in a little bit." He looked at Namine a little longer before he turned around. With a running headstart, he summoned his glider and jumped onto it, starting over the water to go back to his house.

Namine kept her gaze on Roxas until the darkness made his figure unclear, the girl lowering her head and setting her forehead on her knees. Her tears were already there, escaping her eyes and dropping down onto her lap. I'm so overwhelmed, by everything. I just wish Roxas understood that.
Roxas came back to the play island ten minutes later, a bag over his shoulder with the stuff they needed for tonight. He had a blanket in there, and two pillows underneath his arms. He brought a sweatshirt as well, that way if Namine got cold, she could wear it as well. He approached the beach, jumping off the glider with the pillows tucked under his arms still. He landed smoothly on his feet, making a dull thud upon landing.
  • Author
Surprisingly, Namine didn't hear Roxas come back, her arms now up and resting on her knees as it also hid her head and covered her ears. She was still an emotional wreck, nob composed because she hadn't expected Roxas back so quickly.
Roxas could sense Namine's presence nearby, and he looked up to see her nearby. But...she didn't look good. He started toward her in silence, and once he was closer, he dropped the pillows in the sand and took off his backpack. He heard muffled sobs from the girl he loved, which instantly made him concerned. He knelt down in front of Namine, setting a hand on the back of her head. "Namine?"
  • Author
Namine jumped when Roxas made his presence known, though her position didn't change. Oh gosh, he's back already. She bit down on her lip and tried to compose herself, not liking that he was already seeing her this upset.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed, feeling Namine jump underneath his touch. "Hey, talk to me," he said softly, trying to get her to look up at him. "What's wrong?" Why was she crying? Was it something he said? Or was this still about Kairi?
  • Author
Namine sniffled, hearing Roxas's gentle voice. "Nothing," she said, though that was obviously a lie. How was she supposed to put it simply that almost everything was wrong?
Roxas blinked at the answer, knowing instantly that it wasn't the truth. "...You're lying," he said softly, his hand still resting on Namine's head. She knew better than to lie to him; he always figured out whether she was really being truthful or not.
  • Author
"Sorry," Namine murmured, knowing that he hated being lied to. She was hoping he wouldn't catch her like this, since he didn't seem to think she had a real reason to cry. He apologized for saying she was being dramatic, but that was still how he was feeling, right?
"...What's this about?" Roxas asked then, the boy trying to get a peek at Namine's face. "Is it Kairi, or is this because of what I said earlier?" He knew that he hurt Namine when he said she was being dramatic, and he wished he could take it back. He would do anything, as long as she stopped crying; he hated to see it.
  • Author
"It's everything," Namine said softly without moving, the tears still coming even though she was trying to calm down. It was Kairi, and Roxas, and her own thoughts. Where did she belong? If her Somebody didn't belong in Destiny Islands, then why did she?
Roxas felt his eyes soften at what he heard, especially the sorrow in Namine's voice. "Namine... I'm sorry," he said gently, meaning it deeply. He was a jerk earlier, with what he said. He should have realized that she was sensitive right now.
  • Author
"It's okay," Namine murmured. What else could she say other than that? She knew she may have been a little too emotional over all of this, but it struck a nerve, so she couldn't help it too much.
"C'mon," Roxas said after a moment, moving his hand to Namine's shoulder. "Let's go up to the treehouse." She was emotionally upset, which meant she needed to get some sleep, or at least somewhere more comfortable. He would try his best to help with that.
