Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...How about you?" Roxas asked, a little hesitant when asking the question. Namine hadn't been the happiest person when returning to the Islands, after what Kairi told them, that is. Before that, she was ecstatic. But now she seemed a little more than upset about the situation she was put in.

Namine glanced away for a second, trying to come up with a good answer. "Well," she said softly after a moment, "I'm sure I'll enjoy it once I actually have a place to live." She didn't want to live in this treehouse, or have no place to call home.
Roxas nodded a little at that, lowering his gaze to his feet. Right...she still needed a permanent place to stay. But, where could she go? Namine could stay with Kairi, if they looked past their differences and made up, of course.

"I know what you're thinking," Namine said softly at Roxas's silence. "But...I think I want to stay here." She didn't want to go to Radiant Garden, and she didn't want to live with Kairi right away after everything. She didn't say for sure if she wanted to stay in Destiny Islands, though, because she didn't know. Where did she really belong?
Roxas looked up at Namine at that, his eyebrows furrowing a little. She thought she wanted to stay here? He guessed that was alright, since it was better than he arguing that she wanted to go back to the Mansion. That wasn't happening, ever, not when she was alone. He would stay there with her, if anything.

Namine felt Roxas's gaze on her even if she wasn't looking up, knowing that he picked up on her uncertainty. She reached over for a water bottle and opened it for a distraction, lifting it to her lips and taking a sip. She didn't want to talk about the issue tonight.
Roxas turned his head, looking out the door to the treehouse. The leaves on the trees looked black, shining on the top because of the moonlight. He knew that Namine didn't want to talk about it, since she was silent, so he would go along with it. He didn't want to think of her leaving anyway; he saw how hard it was for Sora, and he didn't want to go through the same thing.

Namine set down the water bottle and put the cap back onto it, her eyes wandering back up to Roxas after a moment. "...Are you tired?" she asked softly. She was emotionally drained, but she didn't know if that would help or hinder her from getting sleep.
Roxas shrugged, his gaze still on the outside world. "Kinda," he admitted softly. "I can sleep." It wouldn't take long, since he fell asleep easily as long as no danger was around. Everything was fine as far as Darkness went, but other things, not so much.

Namine hummed, nodding in acceptance. "Then why don't we lay down?" she asked softly. It was better than just sitting here and feeling tense because of everything going on. She would try her best to fall asleep.
Roxas nodded and started pushing himself up, subconsciously wiping at the back of his pants to get any dust or dirt off. He then moved the backpack and the treats he brought, that way there would be room to put the blankets and pillows.
  • Author
Namine put the pillows where there would be room for her and Roxas to lay comfortably, the girl on her knees on the ground and doing what she could to get ready for bed. She wasn't dressed to sleep, but she didn't have any other clothes here, so her options were limited.
Roxas set the backpack down against a wall near the door, the boy then turning around to see that Namine had mostly everything set. He walked over and grabbed the two blankets, one they would need to sleep on and the other they would need to cover up. It wouldn't be the most comfortable place for Namine, but Roxas had been in worse situations.

Within a minute or two, Namine and Roxas had the bedding set up, one blanket covering the wood floor while the other covered their bodies. Namine laid on her back with her hands folded over her stomach, her gaze on the ceiling. She didn't feel very tired, even if she was laying down.
Roxas rested on his side, one arm propped up against the pillow, the boy leaning against it as his hand held his head. He gazed at Namine in the darkness, able to see her due to their close proximity. "I love you, y'know," he told her after a few minutes of silence. No matter what happened, he adored her and cherished her.

Namine turned her head on the pillow and looked over at Roxas, her eyes finding his even in the darkness. "I love you too," she responded softly. And you know it. But she would never get tired of saying those words to Roxas, and she would never stop meaning them. She would always love him.
Roxas brought his free hand up at that, lightly placing it against Namine's cheek. He ran his thumb over her smooth skin, just gazing at her. If she stayed here, he would do his best to help out however he could. If she left, he would make sure it was someplace safe. Roxas couldn't lose Namine; he just couldn't.
  • Author
Namine rolled over onto her side to face Roxas, her eyes staying on his for a few moments before they lowered. She owed him a lot for sticking with her tonight, and sticking with her in general. She knew that wasn't always easy.
"...Sleep the best you can," Roxas said after another minute of silence, letting his hand leave Namine's cheek. He would be right here with her if she need anything, just as he hoped to be for the rest of his life. He was wanting to marry her some time in the future, no doubt.
  • Author
Namine nodded slightly against the pillow, lifting her gaze to Roxas's eyes again. "Goodnight," she said softly. She would wake up tomorrow morning and hopefully be right next to him, feeling his warmth beside her. That was something she could look forward to.
"Goodnight, Namine," Roxas said softly in return, beginning to lower himself to the ground. His head found the pillow as he kept his eyes locked on Namine's face, and he gazed at her for a little while longer before he closed his eyes. Everything would work out, somehow. He just knew it.
  • Author
Namine shut her eyes just so Roxas wouldn't feel her stare on him, the girl wanting to allow him to sleep even if she couldn't. She shifted uncomfortably on the ground and pulled the covers up closer to her neck. This wasn't her ideal place to sleep, but what was right now? Not home, and not Radiant Garden. And certainly not the mansion in Twilight Town.

A few weeks later...

Riku hopped off his glider on the balcony, arriving in his usual spot at Lightning's house on Cocoon. He hadn't seen her for a week or so now, or Namine. The blonde was living here now while things were being taken care of back home and Kairi was away. The idea seemed a little different at first, but the last time he stopped by, things were going alright. He could only hope for the same thing now. Riku's armor vanished in a brief flash of light as he approached the sliding glass door, the boy knocking on it so he could be let in by the woman he loved.

Namine blinked when she heard a knock come from the side door, the girl knowing that only Riku used that door. She set down the sketchpad in her lap and got off the couch, going to answer the door since Lightning wasn't home. She worked a lot, so Namine was alone except for Jasmine, who was staying with them until Riku's life became less hectic. She was comfortable here, surprisingly. She thought it would have been awkward with Lightning at first because she didn't know her well, but she was surprisingly kind. The blonde walked up to the sliding glass door, smiling when she saw Riku there. She slid the door open for him, glad to see him. "Hey."
Riku wasn't surprised to see Namine answer the door, a smile showing on his face when she showed up. "Hey," he greeted back with a small nod. He glanced past her to see Jasmine sitting on the floor, his smile remaining at the sight. He missed all three of the girls, dog included. Life wasn't the same without any of them.
