Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Heh," Riku breathed softly, looking back up at Namine briefly. "Surprises me sometimes too." He never thought somebody would do that to him either, but then again, Lightning wasn't just anyone. She was his someone, his beloved, somebody he never thought he would have after his time in Darkness.

Namine smiled at Riku's expression, her head tilting. "You really like her, huh?" she asked, though she already knew the answer. Riku loved Lightning, like she loved Roxas. Honestly, she had never pictured Riku being that way, but she was very happy for him. He deserved it.
Riku's smile remained genuine as the microwave went off, and he pushed himself away from the counter to take out his food. "It's more than a crush, Namine," he said softly, though he knew she was aware of that. A lot more. He loved her, with all he had. He hoped that was enough.

"She feels the same way," Namine assured Riku, though her smile widened at Riku's words. That was so...cute. She never thought she would use that word to describe anything Riku said, but she was alright with being proven wrong.
Riku grabbed his food and shut the microwave, though he couldn't help but smile more at Namine's words. "She told you that?" he asked, not sure whether to assume that or not. Namine either saw it or heard it from Light herself.

Namine looked to Jasmine, who was staring up at Riku's food. "Mayyyyybe," she said, dragging out the word while her voice showed that Lightning really did tell her. She hoped Riku wouldn't try to drag anything else out of her; she was sure some of the stuff she heard from Lightning wasn't meant to be shared.
Riku saw how Jasmine was looking at him, and he pulled off a piece of pork and tossed it to her. She caught it easily, but he lifted his sights to Namine. "What'd she say about me?" he asked, her tone causing his smile to turn into a smirk. Lightning must have said something about him, right?

Namine folded her hands behind her back, looking down at Jasmine and feeling her cheeks turn a little pink. Unlike Riku, she was easy to embarrass. "Like I'm gonna tell," she said lightly. It was none of her business; Lightning could share her thoughts with Riku herself if she wanted to.
"Well, you did just slip something to me. I'm sure I can make you do it again," Riku said, confidence in his voice. He could do it if he tried, since he hadn't just a second ago. He went ahead and put his pork on a bun, that way he could fill his empty stomach.

"Nuh-uh," Namine said, shaking her head and looking up at Riku. "My lips are sealed." She wasn't going to speak out of turn, even if it probably wasn't that big of a deal. She said enough.
Riku lifted an eyebrow at Namine, but he didn't say anything more. Instead, he bit into his sandwich, his mouth watering at the taste. It was delicious, as he expected. He ate in silence, his eyes leaving Namine then to rest on the floor.

Namine's smile faded but remained, the girl stepping over to the sink. She grabbed two glasses and filled them with water before she started to the living room, sure Riku would follow. Surely he wanted to sit down and enjoy his sandwich.
Riku once again felt himself smile at the way Namine knew her way around Light's home. That meant she was really comfortable here, and that everything was okay. After everything, that was all they wanted.

Namine sat down on the couch beside Riku when they reached the living room, the girl leaning forward and setting his glass on the coffee table. "Since I told you something about Light, can I ask you something about Roxas?" she asked softly, looking over at her friend. There was something she wanted to know.
"Mm," Riku hummed since he was still chewing, resting on the couch. As usual, its comfort relaxed him. He wasn't at all surprised, since Cocoon was like a second home to him. But whenever he was with Light, he was home. That answered everything.

"...How upset is he that I'm not in Destiny Islands?" Namine asked softly after a moment. She had a few other questions, and she would ask them if she got the chance, but she wanted an answer to this one first.
Riku stared at Namine as he finished chewing, but once he had the chance to answer, he looked away. "Honestly...he's not doing that well," he answered, being truthful. Roxas was being antisocial ever since Namine came to Cocoon, and after helping with the reconstruction of the Islands, he took off. He wasn't around people as much as he used to be.

Namine hummed softly, eyes softening as she looked down at the glass she held by her lap. That was what she thought, but what she was hoping to be proven wrong about. She figured that was the case, because she didn't like being apart from him either. But she did like Cocoon...
"He had to help the others finish a house today," Riku said, looking to Namine and seeing her expression. His softened immediately at the sight. "That's why he couldn't make it." He knew Roxas would have come if he could. It was just who he was.

Namine nodded slightly. "I figured it was something like that," she said, lifting her glass to her lips and taking a sip. Roxas wouldn't stay away, even if he was upset, right? He didn't quite seem alright last time he came...He tried convincing her to come "home". But was that her home anymore?
Riku nodded slightly before biting into this sandwich again. He wouldn't bother Namine with a bunch of questions. If she wanted to talk to him, all she had to do was say so. He would answer any questions she had, if that helped.
  • Author
Namine lowered her glass, looking down at it still. "He's working a lot because of me, isn't he?" she asked softly. "To keep himself distracted." She knew him well, and that was her guess on what was going on in his life, in his home.
"Mm." Yeah, I guess so, Riku thought in silence, agreeing. He was observant, as always, so he caught Roxas's expressions sometimes. They often shifted into anger or sadness while he was working. He was trying to distract himself, but sometimes it didn't work.
  • Author
Namine nodded slightly. She was right, sadly. But she didn't know what to do with this situation. She couldn't come home, because she had no place to live. She did try talking to the mayor one time, but things didn't improve much. So Roxas couldn't accuse her of not trying to stay in Destiny Islands.
"I'll bring him with me next time," Riku said once he finished his sandwich. He set the plate down on the coffee table as he reached for his water. "I promise." He knew that Namine missed Roxas, and that Roxas missed her as well. They needed to be together, at least for a little while.
