Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Light smirked slightly, leaning up and giving Riku a small kiss on his jaw. "You're not escaping until I let you," she said once she returned to her previous position, not caring what Riku tried to do. They needed to be together a little longer.
Riku smirked slightly, releasing a small chuckle. "Fine," he said, giving in. It wasn't that hard to in the first place. "I'm yours." Always will be. He didn't plan on them separating completely for a long, long time.

"That's more like it," Light said, her smirk remaining. She was glad Riku was cooperating now, because she wasn't going to let him walk away so she could focus on work. He was a whole lot more important to her than her job in the Corps was, even if the job did mean a lot to her.
Riku only gazed at Lightning with loving eyes, not knowing what to say to that. She was right with what she said; she had him stuck, and he was okay with that. As big of a responsibility he had back on the Islands, he had an even bigger one here, and that was as Lightning's lover. That was way more important than anything else.

Lightning's smile turned genuine as she lightly leaned the side of her head against Riku's lower jaw, her eyes shutting. Even if he didn't have his arms around her, this was okay. She got to have him close again and she experienced the peace he always brought with him. It was nice to have him around.
Riku continued to look down at the woman he loved, but after a while, he looked over at the television to give her some privacy. However, he didn't move his head, that way he didn't disturb her. He would just stay for a little while, since she needed to rest. He would take off soon.

"Now would be a good time to hug me, goof," Light murmured after a few moments, wanting to feel Riku's arms around her. She had wanted it for a long time, and he probably didn't do it before so she could focus on work. But he still distracted her, so now it was time just to focus on each other.
"Hmph," Riku grunted softly, smiling crookedly as he did as Lightning told him to. His arms left the couch to wrap around her torso, holding her close as she rested between his legs. He would have kissed her if he could, but she was comfortable, so he wasn't about to move.

"You seem tired," Light commented softly, more serious than before. She could tell because the embrace was lighter than usual, and because he didn't do it sooner. He just seemed a little off in general to her, and it was probably something only she could pick up on because she loved him.
"Mm. The last few days have been rough," Riku mumbled, closing his eyes. Light was right, since he was exhausted. He'd been hard at work the last couple days. The Islands needed more work than he thought a little while ago. Flying to and from worlds wasn't exactly easy either.

"Physically?" Light asked softly, lifting one of her hands and running her fingers over one of Riku's arms over her stomach. She hoped it was just physically hard and not too stressful; she would have felt bad if that was the case and she wasn't there supporting him.
"Mm," Riku hummed in response. It was mostly physical stress on him, though there was also the mental aspect as well. Some of the islanders could be impatient, but they were doing the best they could. Things were progressing.

"You better be getting enough sleep," Lightning said quietly while continuing her gesture. If he wasn't, then she would kick his butt. He couldn't kill himself trying to get the Islands fixed in a short time; the burden wasn't all his.
Riku smiled ever so slightly at the tone in Light's voice, relaxing at her soft gesture. "It's enough to get me through the day," he replied honestly. He would like a day off to catch up on sleep, but he had enough to fuel his body through the day's duties.

"Riku..." Light said lowly, not happy with that answer. She knew how little sleep Riku needed to get through a day, and she wanted him getting the sleep he needed for the long run. There would be consequences to him being sleep deprived for so long.
"I'll be fine," Riku said, his eyebrows furrowing a little as he kept his eyes closed. Lightning's tone was enough for him to know she wasn't happy, and he didn't expect her to be. He wasn't lying, because he would be alright.

"Just don't push yourself too hard," Claire said softly, still stroking Riku's arm. Secretly, she hoped that the gesture would lure him to sleep here so that she could make sure he got some of the sleep he needed. Would she be fortunate enough to have that work out?
Riku released a soft breath through his nose, his eyes remaining shut as they had been the last few minutes. "I won't," he mumbled. He would try his hardest at least. He couldn't make any promises, though.

Light shut her eyes, keeping up her gesture when hearing Riku's mumbled response. Was he dozing off? If she could lure him to sleep for a while, she would feel better. She wanted to make sure he actually was sleeping a little bit, even if that was just when he was with her.
Riku could feel consciousness starting to leave him, Light's gesture and overall presence causing his drowsniness. "Light..." he said softly. He couldn't sleep too long; he had to get back. As much as he wanted to stay, he couldn't.

Light heard Riku's tone, knowing that he was protesting going to sleep. He couldn't know she was purposely trying to lure him to sleep, right? That was how she was going to act for now. She set her hand on his arm and lightly squeezed it, feeling herself start dozing off as well.
"...Don't let me sleep too long," Riku murmured lowly, feeling that light squeeze. He couldn't stay here the whole night; he had to go to the Islands and continue with his work there. After all, time was different in Cocoon than it was on his home world.

Lightning only hummed, not making any promises. He needed his rest, and honestly, if she fell asleep, she couldn't wake him. But she couldn't fall asleep, because she still had a lot of work to do. She couldn't let the exhaustion get to her.
Riku kept his arms around Lightning as consciousness finally left him, everything around him fading. He kept his head where it was, his shoulders supported by the corner of the couch; he didn't move so Lightning would be comfortable as well. When he woke up, he would say goodbye, and then leave for Destiny Islands.

Light opened her eyes and looked down at her papers on the ground after a few moments, deciding not to reach for them so she didn't disturb Riku. His rest was more important than pointless paperwork. She sighed softly and let her posture relax further, her eyes shutting again. She'd just rest, and if she fell asleep, she hoped Riku would wake up and force her out of her slumber as well so she could work. A few minutes after that, she fell asleep in Riku's arms, her burdens temporarily going away.
