Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

At Kairi's gesture, Sora lifted his hand that held Kairi's and turned it so her hand was closer to him. He leaned forward a little and kissed the back of her hand, his eyes going from her hand to her eyes as he held the kiss for a second. But then he withdrew, keeping a hold on Kairi's hand.
Kairi's smile softened at the gesture, and she was sure her eyes did the same. "...What would I do without you?" she whispered softly, asking herself and Sora the question. He was a sight for sore eyes almost always, and he was her Prince Charming, her knight in shining armor. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't think of him.

"You'll never have to find out," Sora whispered in response, their dance slowing to a stop as he kept his eyes on Kairi's. He was always going to be with Kairi, that being something he pledged to himself a long time ago. Soon, he would make that same pledge to the girl he loved.
Kairi felt her heart grow warm at the words, her hand moving through Sora's spikes to come back to his shoulder once more. She certainly hoped she wouldn't have to be alone, because that was one of her fears. She never wanted to be by herself, especially away from Sora. It was hard just being a few worlds away, but completely separated, with no turning back? She couldn't do that.

"I've loved you since the day I first met you," Sora said softly, gazing into Kairi's eyes. "I have no plans to let you get away." Their relationship had plenty of ups and downs, but there was always somebody fighting to hold things together, whether it was him or Kairi. And here they were now, together. And hopefully about to take the next big step.
Kairi found herself smiling again, remembering that first day that she and Sora met. It was like it was yesterday, when she arrived at the Islands in her little white and purple dress, having lost her memories of her real home. But Sora was there to make her feel comfortable and safe, protected, just like he did now. The past fourteen years had been that way, and like him, she didn't plan on letting any of it slip away.

"Even before the Paopu fruit we were connected," Sora continued softly, his eyes staying locked on Kairi's. "We were just best friends growing up, but that's what we are now, too. And that's what we'll always be." Not only was Kairi his true love, but she was also his best friend. He couldn't put into words how much he loved Kairi for every part she played in his life. He could only try to say that he wanted her to keep being a part of his life forever, in one role in particular.
Kairi remained silent, speechless at the things Sora was telling her. They were so...heartfelt and pure, romantic and lovely. She smiled a little, her expression calm and content as she listened for more. He didn't sound like he was done yet, but she couldn't imagine what else he had to say. He'd said so much already.

"As long as I'm with you, I'll have everything I need. I'll have the privilege to make you smile, and laugh...and have you scold me for being too goofy." Sora smiled sheepishly at the last part, though he continued. "You'd always have something to smile about, and you'd always be safe. I'd be by your side." And he meant that. Physically, he may have been torn away, but he would be with her in spirit. Forever. But he also wanted to be by her side for the same length of time.
Kairi's lips parted a little at the thoughtful words, the girl feeling emotions rise from within her heart and reach the surface. "Sora..." she whispered without thought, really touched. Was all of this bottled up inside since she left? She hardly believed that, since his words were so powerful, so full of love. They had to be in his heart from the day they first met, so long ago. There was no other explanation for it.

"And you already know how you've kept me safe, hundreds of times," Sora continued softly despite Kairi's whisper. "You're the reason that I fight, and the reason I exist at all. I may have found your heart when you lost it, but you've sustained my heart since the day that I met you. You're my Light. You always will be." Without her, he would have fallen into Darkness and never come back.
Kairi could feel her eyes beginning to sting, tears threatening to appear as her eyes began to moisten. Sora....she thought silently, just looking up at him in silence, her smile gone from flattery and surprise at the strength of his words. They were touching her heart, causing her to be speechless.

"All the battles I've fought alone, all the battles we've fought side-by-side to be together...I'd repeat all of them in a heartbeat as long as I ended up by your side," Sora said, his eyes staying locked on Kairi's eyes. "In the past, I would do whatever it took to be with you, and I'll do that forever. I'll always fight for you. For us."
Kairi couldn't speak, her voice gone at the love behind the words spoken to her. She kept her grip on Sora's hand, the other still resting on his shoulder as she stood in the middle of the gazebo with him. She didn't even notice the rain or the thunder, completely focused on just him, his bright blue eyes that could speak for him. She sensed nothing but truth from him, and that was enough to cause more moisture in her eyes.

"I know the future will be full of battles," Sora said more seriously, though his gaze full of love didn't change in the slightest. "For me and for you. But I'm ready to face them as long as you're by my side. We're already bound by the Paopu fruit, destiny, and love. But there's one other way that I want us to be connected. I swore the day that I fell in love with you that I'd do this as soon as I could, and I'm not breaking that oath I made. So, Kairi..." He took his hand off her waist, starting to get down on one knee while his other hand continued to grip hers.
Kairi saw Sora getting down on one knee, and she slowly brought her free hand to cover her mouth. Her moist eyes grew in size in surprise, having a feeling what was coming next. He's...he's going to...

Sora used his free hand to reach into the side pocket on his khaki shorts, his hand pulling out a small black box. He flipped it open with his thumb and held it in the palm of his hand, his eyes on Kairi's as he was on his knee. "...Will you marry me?" he concluded.
Kairi's wide eyes darted down to the black box, seeing the sparkling ring inside. She then looked back to Sora, one tear falling down her cheek. Sora... She nodded in silence, then taking her hand away from her face. "Yes..." she said softly, her lips slowly spreading into a smile. "A thousand times yes."

"Not times infinity?" Sora couldn't help but ask softly, his goofy side coming out. But he was also stunned and trying to recover. She said yes? She really said yes?! He felt his heart warm, his eyes also growing moist in the purest joy he ever felt.
"Times infinity," Kairi said, another tear leaving her eyes as she smiled. "...Yes." She would be happy to marry him...and spend the rest of her life with him. That was all she ever wanted. For infinity, forever, always.

Sora's lips turned up into a wide smile, the teen wanting to shout to the world that he was to be wed to his beloved. But instead, he gently released her hand and then reached for the engagement ring in the box. He was glad he had steady hands now despite his nerves, his hand lightly gripping Kairi's again as he started putting the ring on her finger. You're going to be mine. Always.
Kairi's watery gaze left Sora's face and found the lovely ring that was being placed on her finger. She couldn't help but smile in happiness, elated at what just happened. Sora proposed...and she accepted his hand in marriage.

Sora finished sliding the ring onto Kairi's finger, that hand lowering as he held the palm of her hand with his other. He lifted his bright blue eyes to her face, seeing the joy. He was sure that was reflected on his face as well; he didn't know it was possible to be this happy before.
Kairi's gaze rested on the ring for a moment, but when she felt the gentle gaze against her, she looked up to the source. Sure enough, Sora's eyes were full of love as they locked onto her, and she returned that love as much as she could through her own watery stare. She gently squeezed his hand, feeling the light weight of her engagement ring as she did so. "Sora..." she whispered, her voice choked over the rain.

Sora smiled weakly at Kairi's tone and expression, his position the same as he knelt on one knee. "Kai," he whispered in return. That was all he could think to say now that his little "speech" was over. He said a lot then, without really thinking about it. But it was perfect.
