Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi couldn't help but smile more at the boy she loved, feeling a few more tears leave her eyes. "I love you," she said quietly, still somewhat speechless after the proposal. It was just so...unexpected, but it was perfect. She couldn't ask for anything better.

"I love you too," Sora whispered in response, gently squeezing Kairi's hand. He got that across in every word he spoke just a minute ago, but saying those four simple words made his heart jump as well. He loved her, from the very beginning. He still loved her today, and he would love her till the day he died.
Kairi could only look at him now through moist eyes, her vision blurring. They weren't sad tears, of course; they were ones of happiness. She was going to get married...to Sora. She always dreamed of it, and now it was going to be a reality. She couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him. Forever.

Sora chuckled softly in joy, bringing Kairi's left hand closer to his face. He kissed it, though it seemed different now because that hand had a ring on it. She said yes...He lowered his head when the kiss was done, his eyes shutting. She really said yes!
Kairi squeezed Sora's hand again, and then she knelt down in front of him, both of her knees touching the hard floor of the gazebo. But it didn't matter whether the ground was hard or not; she ignored it. Instead, she lifted a hand to Sora's face, holding his cheek as she gazed at him. You're my fiance now...

Sora kept his same position when Kairi set her hand on his cheek, the moisture gathering behind his eyes again. "...You're going to be my wife," he whispered in awe. He was the one who proposed, but he still was excited and taking it in. Kairi...
Kairi smiled softly, running her thumb over Sora's smooth cheek. "And you're going to be my husband," she replied gently. Forever, they would be together. Like he said, they would be bound by the Paopu fruit, destiny, love, and now...marriage. It would be great.

Sora laughed softly, lifting his head and looking at Kairi in front of him. "You seem to be taking this more calmly than I am," he stated, hearing some calmness in her last statement. It was easy for her to say that...This was really sinking in for him, not that he hadn't thought over it before. Now that it was a reality, though, it was better than he could have ever imagined.
Kairi smiled a little more, though she shook her head in disagreement. "My heart's racing," she whispered gently. "Here, feel." She lifted her hand that was being held by Sora's, guiding his to where her heart was located. She held it there with her own hand, her engagement ring shining despite the lack of sunlight.

Sora felt Kairi's beating heart against his hand, the teen taking in the beats for a few moments before he chuckled. "I may have you beat," he said softly, referring to his own beating heart. It was racing pretty fast.
"Hmm," Kairi hummed softly, her smile growing ever so slightly at the statement. She didn't doubt that. Sora must have been nervous, proposing like that. But it was incredibly sweet, and she would remember it forever. "...Mine will be doing this exact same thing on our wedding day. I'm sure yours will be too." It would be an exciting day, for both of them.

"Our wedding day..." Sora said in wonder, smiling. "I already can't wait," he whispered. Today was great, and if it was any sign to what their wedding would be like, he wanted to be wed to her right now. He wanted this happiness to remain and grow, if that was possible.
"Neither can I," Kairi said softly, her eyes on Sora's. She ran her thumb over his cheek again, still holding his hand to her chest. She could feel the weight of the ring, and it was something she would have to get used to. But she definitely would; she would be wearing a ring like this for the rest of her life.

Sora gently took his hand away from Kairi's heart, using the hand to sweep her red bangs out of her eyes. "I...You're going to make me the happiest man alive," he said softly, his voice just a whisper. He already was the happiest man, actually. But being with Kairi as her husband...He couldn't wait.
Kairi couldn't help but smile, releasing a small sound of happiness as well. Sora was going to be the best husband she could ask for, and he was going to make her the happiest woman alive. She was sure her smile was enough to express that.

"Thank you," Sora whispered, setting his hand on Kairi's hair as he gazed at her. She was going to make his dreams come true. She already did, by saying yes to his proposal. They would be together always.
Kairi leaned her head forward a little, her forehead touching Sora's. She closed her eyes, taking in this moment. "...I'm grateful to you too, you know," she said softly. "You've granted my birthday wish." And that was to be happy with Sora, forever. Times were tough when they were apart, but she wanted more for them--more happiness and peace, and love. Now, they had all the time in the world for those things.

Sora kept his eyes open, surprised by the implications of what Kairi just said. "You wanted me to propose?" he asked softly. She had thought about that? He thought she would have been so absorbed in turning eighteen that she wouldn't think about the possibility of a proposal.
Kairi couldn't shake her head when she was so close, and though she felt Sora's gaze on her, she kept her eyes closed. "No," she answered softly, running her thumb over his cheek once more. "I wished for us to be happy." And now...they were, and would be for the rest of their lives. Marriage was only the first step to their happiness. After that, they could start a family...together.
  • Author
"Mm," Sora hummed, closing his eyes. That made more sense. And it was true that he granted her wish, since that wish was to make her happy. He was going to do just that whenever he could. For the rest of his life. For forever.
"Heh," Kairi laughed softly, thinking of something after a moment of silence. Of course, she was sure Sora was thinking it too. "...We're engaged." She had a fiance, and he was the only one she ever wanted to be with. There was no one like him; she didn't have to look. She didn't even want to. Sora was the one.

Sora smiled, his fingers in Kairi's hair. "You're my fiance," he said, speaking the word for the first time. It was so crazy how it felt to say that. But it was absolutely true, and he loved it. More than words could express.
"And you're mine." Kairi didn't have to voice it, since it was fact. But she wanted to anyway, especially since it sent a wave of warmth to her heart. She hadn't looked at the engagement ring in depth yet, but she was sure that once Sora left Radiant Garden, she wouldn't be able to keep her eyes off it.

"Heh." Sora laughed softly, smiling. "I've always been yours." It was really that simple. She held his heart from day one, and she would hold that heart for as long as she lived. And he would do the same for her.
Kairi opened her eyes at that, just gazing at Sora for a moment. But then, she closed them, also closing the small gap between her and Sora. She pressed her lips to his, kissing him for the first time as his fiance, and him as hers.
