Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

At the mention, Kairi lifted her left hand in front of her, her gaze falling on the ring. She'd gazed at it enough the past few days, but she still couldn't stop looking at it. "Mm," she hummed with a soft smile. "It is beautiful." She'd want to see it too, if she were in her friends' places.

"Not nearly as beautiful as you," Sora said with a soft smile. No piece of jewelry could compare to Kairi, no matter how priceless or gorgeous it was. His beloved was beautiful inside and out, and that inward beauty could never be compared to any material possession.
Kairi's blue eyes lifted to Sora's then, and she couldn't help herself with what she did next. She leaned up and gave him a light kiss on the lips, holding it for a moment before she withdrew. "Thank you, Prince Charming," she said, linking her hands behind her back then. He was her Prince Charming, her knight in shining armor. Forever.

Sora's soft smile remained, his gaze also staying locked on Kairi's after the kiss. "You're welcome, Princess," he said softly, using the title as a petname as well. He did that a few times, finding it fitting. Even if she wasn't a princess, she would be his princess. Always.
Kairi's smile remained, her eyes also staying on the young man in front of her. He was no longer a boy, though he would always have the goofy personality for one. Now, he was a handsome young man, brave and strong. And most recently her fiance and husband-to-be. The last was a wonderful transformation.

"So, any plans for the day, Princess?" Sora asked softly. He dropped in without letting her know he was coming, so if he interrupted something, he could either leave or go with her. It was up to her.
"Mm," Kairi hummed with a small nod, her smile fading. "Leon dropped by last night. He said he found my grandmother's house." The news startled her at first, because she thought all traces of her grandmother were gone. But there was still her home, which remained uninhabited ever since she left. Kairi was going to check it out today.

"Really?" Sora asked, his smile fading in surprise. That wasn't what he expected to hear, but he was sure that what Kairi said was true. "So you're gonna check it out, right?" That was the only thing he could see her doing now, since she loved her grandmother.
Kairi nodded once more, humming. But, she had to admit, she was a little...nervous. She hadn't seen her grandmother in fourteen years, and she would never see her again. Going to her home, where Kairi also lived, was going to be a big deal. "...Will you come with me?" she asked softly, her eyes on Sora's. She didn't really want to go alone now that he was here.

Sora nodded without hesitation. "Yeah, sure thing." He was already here, and he was interested in seeing the place too. The house was where Kairi lived the first four years of her life, right? He was definitely interested in seeing a former home of hers.
Kairi smiled weakly at the boy she loved. "This way," she said, her hands coming undone behind her back as she stepped past Sora to head toward her grandmother's. She was looking forward to seeing the last traces of her grandmother, but she was already preparing for the tears.

Sora nodded once again, turning and following Kairi. He picked up his pace and started walking beside her, not wanting to be anywhere else. Like he said in his proposal, he would always be by her side. It was where he belonged.
The walk to Kairi's grandmother's wasn't a long one, but Kairi did stop right outside the home. She looked up at it from her place in front of it, memories rushing back. She remembered running back here with flowers in hand, her grandmother always the recipient. Do I really want to do this? She already knew it would be hard, but was she ready?

Sora stopped beside Kairi, seeing the house up ahead. It was pretty big, and it was nice at least on the outside. He glanced over at his fiance and saw her expression, the sight causing him to lift a hand and briefly run it over her back. You can do this, babe.
Kairi turned her head at the touch, looking up at her fiance. She knew what the gesture was meant to say, and she nodded to him slightly, a brief smile on her lips before she looked away. She released a breath and located the front door, a picture of her grandmother opening it to greet her entering her mind. It's time. Kairi started forward then, trusting Sora to be with her the whole way.

This time, Sora lingered behind Kairi, walking a few steps behind her. He knew that she was connected to this place and he wasn't, so he would give her some space to do the exploring she wanted to do. But he would still be with her, always.
Kairi went up the porch steps, seeing some dust on the floorboards. She looked to the left, locating a porch swing. Grandma always read to me there, she realized silently, her eyes lingering on the swing before she approached the front door. She opened the screen door first and then put her hand on the doorknob. It was unlocked, and Kairi figured Leon and the others must have already done it, so she could get in. Kairi bit her lip and pushed the door open with a turn of her wrist, the door creaking from lack of use.

Sora looked around the area and then to Kairi, watching her without knowing how she was going to react to everything. But he would be with her, so even if something bad happened, she would be alright.
Kairi walked into the house, the living room being revealed by the front door. She saw two sofas and a rocking chair near the fireplace, but no television. She remembered then that her grandmother always preferred reading or story-telling in place of it. Kairi located a picture on an endtable, and she instantly started toward it. Picking up the frame, she wiped the dust away from the picture. She saw a toddler and two other people, but neither of them were her grandmother. The man was handsome, his hair dark brown and his eyes the color of Kairi's--blue with a hint of violet. The woman was beautiful, with long red hair and a wonderful smile, her eyes green. The little girl in her lap... Is me. The sight made Kairi gasp, her free hand lifting to her mouth.

Sora had been letting his gaze wander across the living room until he heard Kairi's gasp, his bright blue eyes wandering to her then. He walked over and stood slightly behind and to the side, his gaze landing on the picture in her hands. Studying it, he believed he realized why she gasped. Were those...her parents?
Kairi looked to the picture frame, seeing that there was something engraved in the silver. "My wonderful family," it read. Kairi's eyes began to tear up, her breath caught in her throat as she gazed back to the picture. This photo was at her grandmother's house, in her picture frame. Family...she thought silently, connecting the dots. These are my parents...

Sora lifted a hand and started running it over Kairi's back, feeling the change in the atmosphere because of her emotions. He glanced away from the picture to what he could see of her face, his eyes staying on her. Kairi...
Kairi felt the touch, but she didn't react to it, frozen in shock. She had no memories of these people, of her mother and father. She couldn't even remember their faces before now. And since she was looking at them now, she couldn't find her voice to explain to Sora who they were. This was a very important moment in her life, discovering who her parents were, but she just couldn't grasp it.

Sora kept running his hand over Kairi's back, shifting his gaze to the picture again because he couldn't look at her expression without feeling uncomfortable. He didn't know how to react to her emotions; he hadn't expected her to find anything like this, something that would leave her frozen like this. How am I supposed to help...?
Kairi closed her eyes, setting the picture back down on the endtable. She lowered her hand from her mouth as she swallowed back the tears, refusing to cry now. She knew this would be sad, so she had to be strong.
