Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked down at Kairi, sad. "I have to," he said softly. Riku was going to kick his butt for missing another day of work to be with Kairi, especially since he just took off a lot of time to propose to Kairi. But, would Riku even be home? He had been talking about visiting Lightning, so maybe he would get lucky and arrive home while his best friend was gone.
"Alright," Kairi said with a small nod, looking away to hide her sadness. She wanted Sora to be with her, now of all times. They just got engaged, so her want to be with him was higher than ever. And on top of that, she could possibly have a tragedy on her hands, literally. It all depended on what her grandmother put in the letter.

Sora leaned over and gave Kairi a kiss on her red hair, his sad eyes shutting briefly before they opened again. "Sorry, Kai," he said softly. But...he was here for what he needed to be here for. Now it was time for him to go home. He'd be back as soon as he could though, and by then, maybe Kairi would have made a decision about what to do with the letter.
"Don't be," Kairi said, slowing her pace since they were in front of her home. She came to a stop and looked up at the young man she was to be wed to. "The others need you. I understand." Sora couldn't be with her all the time. He had other duties to take care of.

That doesn't change how much you need me too, Sora silently thought, though he was wise enough to keep that thought to himself. Saying something like that would only upset Kairi. So instead of sharing his real feelings, he nodded. "I'll be back as soon as I can," he said, slowly releasing Kairi from the hold he had around her.
Kairi lowered the envelope to her side, lifting her free hand to Sora's cheek. She leaned up and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. She pulled back after a moment, her eyes finding him once more. "I love you," she said softly. "And thank you." He really helped her today, even if he was just there for her. That was enough.

Sora smiled weakly, nodding in the same manner as he gazed at Kairi. "You're welcome. And I love you too." He loved her with his whole heart, and that wasn't about to change. He lifted a hand and waved slightly before he turned around and started walking away, not wanting to draw out the goodbye and make it hard. By now, he knew how painful the goodbyes were, especially since it seemed like that was all they were experiencing for now. But things would be better someday.
Kairi gazed at Sora for a moment, her eyes lingering on him as he walked away. She hated seeing him walk away from her, and she was ready for the day where they would walk together, down the aisle after they exchanged vows. Someday.

In Cocoon

It had been a while since Light saw Riku last, the girl knowing that he used his last day off to help Sora out with something. That was alright, since Lightning wouldn't want Riku neglecting his best friend for her sake. But that didn't change that she missed him. And missing him was an unpleasant emotion, so she threw herself into her work even more than she already had been. And Carson was throwing more paperwork at her because he believed she was working so much to defy him, since he wanted her fired. She was having another late night with work, only this time, she fell asleep in the middle of it. She sat on a bar stool by a counter, her arm extended next to the paperwork and her head resting on it as she slept.

Riku landed his glider on the balcony, as usual. By now, Light just left it unlocked for him, that way he could come in whenever he visited. He felt awful for coming in the middle of the night, but it was late afternoon where he was. Sora wasn't back from Radiant Garden anyway, so Riku took the opportunity to come see his beloved. He missed her, a lot. It had been a while since he'd seen her last. Riku stepped inside the house, quiet because he knew that Namine was most likely asleep, and Lightning too if she wasn't still up from work. He wondered how that was going, since the last time he was here she was having a hard time with Carson and paperwork.

Lightning didn't hear any noise from her spot, her sleeping having gotten deeper since she was so drained. She had half a mug of coffee next to her paperwork full of caffeine, but it still hadn't been enough to keep her awake. She loved her job a lot of the time, but the paperwork aspect of it was terrible. And that was what she had been doing every night since the last time Riku stopped by. She hardly slept anymore, and even if she knew that wasn't healthy, she kept going. But tonight, her stamina ran out.
Riku saw that the lights in the living room were on, but no one was in there. Instead, he went to the kitchen, where he immediately located the woman he loved. His eyes softened as he approached her, putting a hand on her back as he leaned over to look at her face. "Light," he called gently, his voice soft in the quiet room. She passed out here? She really needed to get to bed.

Light didn't hear the call that was directed at her, though she did faintly feel the hand on her back. Warmth? What was that? The last person she had physical contact with was Namine, since she was upset about something and needed a shoulder to cry on even if that shoulder belonged to a tough, stoic soldier. And of course, Light petted Jasmine too, but the dog was asleep somewhere else in the house by this late hour.
She's out, Riku thought instantly. He moved his hand to Light's side, wondering how he could possibly move her without waking her up. She needed to get to her room and sleep comfortably, not stay out here and passed out on the kitchen counter. "...Claire?" he tried again, his voice still gentle with the woman he loved.

Light hummed subconsciously to Riku's call, not really awake. She was slowly comprehending that somebody was with her, but she couldn't find the urge to wake up and see this person. She was so drained from work and even more drained from missing Riku. She wanted to quit the Corps and just be with him, even if she knew how terribly she would miss her job and Serah and her other friends.
Riku smiled softly at the hum, though he leaned over and gently brought Lightning back by lightly gripping her shoulder. He then lifted her into his arms, holding her to his chest in silence. He started out of the room and in the direction of her bedroom. She needed comfort.

Claire's head landed on Riku's shoulder when he held her, her chin ducked so her head was pretty low. She didn't really care, only recognizing that the warm increased now. She had been in this position countless times before, and she could easily identify who was with her even in her deep unconsciousness. Riku. Riku was here.
Riku made his way to Light's room, the door already open so he had easy access. He walked over to her bed and gently set her down, the boy making sure her head landed gently on the pillow. Once she was out of his arms, he started to take off her boots for her, since she was still in her work attire. She must have really been exhausted.

Light turned her head on the pillow, an arm coming over her stomach when she felt herself being laid down on the bed. She had to wake up; she wanted to see Riku so badly that she couldn't miss the opportunity now. And she needed to be conscious enough to feel the support of his presence because she was so stressed lately. Even Namine, who hardly knew her, could tell she was struggling lately.
Riku put Light's boots on the floor beside her bed, then reaching for the strap she always wore around her leg. There was no need for that here. He took it off gently and set it on the bedside table, knowing there wasn't much he could do about Light's clothes. He reached for the covers, noticing that the bed wasn't made today. He figured she must have been too busy to do it earlier that morning.

Lightning rolled over onto her side, snuggling her face against the pillow and causing her hair to get a little messed up as her bangs fell over her shut eyes. C'mon, c'mon, wake up... Now she was also thinking that she logically had to be awake, because she still had all that paperwork to do. She realized she was in a bed, but this wasn't where she could be right now. She had to keep working.
Riku noticed Light roll over, but he still managed to get the covers over her. He tucked the woman he loved in, but before he was done, he leaned over. He placed a gentle kiss on Lightning's head of pink hair, closing his eyes. Goodnight. "...Love you," he whispered softly, pulling back. He would leave her to sleep.

"Riku," Light finally murmured, awake enough to realize that he was going to leave her. She couldn't' let him just walk out of here, not after how badly she had missed him lately. She was going to wake herself up fully to be with him even if she had to drink a whole pot of coffee to do it. Whatever it takes to be with him.
Riku blinked at the voice, but he kept his hands on the bed to support his weight. "Go back to sleep," he told her softly. It was alright; he would come back some other time, even if he did miss her like crazy. She needed her rest.

"No," Lightning said stubbornly, her eyebrows furrowing a little behind her bangs. No way was she just going to fall back asleep when Riku was here. He flew all this way to see her, and she wasn't about to just let him walk out the door without spending some time with her.
