Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas rubbed the back of his head without thought, his eyes leaving the screen and going to the window. It was just after sunset, so it was a little darker than before. He needed to get going soon; his day was nearly up.

Namine scooted a little closer to Roxas when he looked to the window, the blonde knowing what he was thinking. He had to go soon, but she wanted to hold onto him just a little longer. She leaned her head on his shoulder and gazed at the television, momentarily shifting her focus away from Lightning to Roxas. She was sad he had to leave; there was no telling when she would see him again. For all she knew, it could be another month.
Roxas's arm was already around Namine while they were resting on the couch, and he held her even closer when she scooted over. He didn't want to go, but he had to. He had to work the next day, and the one after that, and the one after that. He just wanted to be with Namine. Was that too much to ask?

Namine kept her position in Roxas's arms, though she knew that the feeling wouldn't last too much longer. This goodbye would be hard, because now she knew the possibility that she wouldn't see him for a whole month. At the start of this, he promised to come every week, but obviously that fell through. She wasn't disappointed in him, she was just sad that they couldn't be together.
Roxas turned his head to look at the girl he loved, his eyes softening when he saw how close she was and how her expression made her easy to read. She didn't want him to go, but he had to. He guessed he could skip out, but what would Sora's parents say? And his boss for the time being? "...I have to go," he whispered softly, that way he wouldn't disturb Lightning or Riku.

Namine nodded faintly against Roxas's shoulder, feeling his gaze on her. "I know," she whispered, starting to take back the arm she had wrapped over Roxas's stomach. She couldn't keep him here; if he said that he had to go, then he had to go. He surely stayed as long as he could.
Roxas squeezed Namine's shoulder briefly before he too started to pull back. He didn't want to go; that was the last thing he wanted. If he had to, he would skip work so he could see Namine again within the week. He would keep his promise to her. He would be back very soon.

Namine brought her head off Roxas's shoulder, ignoring when her bangs got into her eyes a little bit. She was used to it, after so many years of having bangs. She looked up and found Roxas's bright blue eyes, the blonde not saying anything. What was there to say when they were being separated again, after a month of being apart?
Roxas reached for Namine's hand, grasping it before he rose from the couch. She was going to come with him, where they would go outside and say a proper goodbye. At least for now. He would see her soon, within the next week. He couldn't stay away any longer than that; he was surprised he lasted a month without her.

Lightning caught Namine get off her seat, keeping a grasp on Roxas's hand before she started towards the balcony where the boys always flew in. Light only observed the two blondes out of the corner of her eye, lifting her mug and drinking a little more coffee. It didn't feel like it was helping at all; she was still really tired. Maybe crashing was a good idea, but she wanted to be with Riku now more than ever.
Riku had a hand at his face, the boy's eyes closed as he fought off his anger. He wanted to march to the Corps and complain about the lack of justice with Lightning's case. Even more, he wanted to give Carson the same treatment that Light dealt with. But he remembered what she told him earlier, and if he went after Carson, he'd be forbidden to come back to Cocoon. That was the last thing he wanted.

"You should stop seething," Light murmured, leaning forward and setting her half-empty mug on the coffee table near her. She could tell Riku was still infuriated, even after a few minutes passed. She wasn't a fool; she could clearly see what Riku wasn't hiding very well. He never was good at hiding his anger, at least not to her.
"I will, once Carson stops breathing," Riku couldn't help but say in reply, his eyes remaining closed. He didn't move anything but his mouth to speak, too tense. He hated that Carson hurt Lightning. If he was there, he would have done to Carson what he did to Light, but it would be his neck that snapped instead.

Lightning shut her eyes at that response, not overly surprised by it. "Well, that's not going to happen anytime soon," she stated softly. Carson was too intelligent to be killed off easily, and besides, she knew that Riku himself wanted to be the one to make him pay. But he couldn't, because then, things would look even worse against Lightning. Even in death, Carson would find a way to pin his death on her. Ridiculous.
"Yeah. Unfortunately," Riku commented lowly, opening his eyes to glare at the television screen. Every time he wanted to be with Lightning, something happened where he was just...angry. Furious, even. The last time he had been like this was when they argued a few nights ago, and now this. He wasn't happy about it.

Not only that, but he won't get justice, Riku, Lightning added silently, not saying it aloud because she knew Riku was ticked enough as it was. "If you need to do something to get your anger out, do it," she said after a moment, opening her eyes and looking at her extended legs. "Just don't commit murder." Or do anything else stupid. But she didn't really have to say that aloud; she got her point across.
"If you're suggesting I go take my anger out on some Heartless, that would require me leaving," Riku said, looking down at Lightning from his spot above her on the chair. "I don't want to do that." So...for now, he would just have to get over this problem and be with her. That was all he wanted anyway--to be with Light. Forever, if he could.

Light nodded faintly in recognition, pushing herself up from her spot on the ground and turning to face Riku. "I know one thing that may help you relax," she said, though she didn't know if he would like the idea or not. She did it before to help him feel better, but he would probably prefer to think that she was the one who needed all the comfort right now. But that obviously wasn't the case, since he was so disturbed by all this. She was used to Carson's attitude, though she was still infuriated by it.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, not sure what to make out of what Light just said. "What do you mean?" he asked softly. If she was suggesting they go lie down, he was up for that. He loved Light's bed, especially when she was in it with him. He was tired too; he lost some sleep the last few days.

"Back massage?" Light asked with an arched brow, casually putting a hand on her hip like she often did when she was standing. She didn't mind doing it, especially since she had done it a few times before this and it did help Riku relax. If she could help, she would; she didn't want him wasting his efforts on helping her when there really wasn't anything to do.
Riku blinked in surprise, his confused expression melting into one of flattery. "Oh, uh...thanks, but no thanks," he said with a small shake of his head. He wanted to take care of her, not the other way around. He wanted to be able to support her and help her any way he could.

"Alright," Light said without arguing, taking a few steps over to be by the couch. She plopped down on her back, her gaze up on the ceiling as she brought a hand back behind her head. She figured out Riku's logic easily, but she wasn't going to pick a fight right now. If he didn't want her helping him, then she wouldn't.
Riku looked at Lightning for a moment, but then he leaned forward, setting his elbows on his knees. He lifted a hand and ruffled his silver hair, staring down at the ground in silence. What was he supposed to say now? They couldn't just sit here like this.

Lightning only had her eyes shut briefly when she heard and felt someone climb onto the couch with her. She grunted at the pressure on her, her eyes opening to see Jasmine with her front paws on her mid-torso and her back paws by Light's legs. She didn't have time to protest before the dog bent her head down and started kissing Light's face, the soldier shutting her eyes and furrowing her eyebrows. Jazz...
Riku looked up when he sensed Jasmine come into the room, and when he saw her position, he opened his mouth to speak. Of course, no words left his lips. Jazz, bad idea...he thought. Lightning probably wasn't in the mood to play around.
