Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning lifted her arm and used it to lift Jazz's head away from her, getting the message across with that action and verbal words. "No, Jazz." She moved her arm away, but then Jasmine went right back in and started licking her face again. Light felt her temper flare up, the young woman already on edge from everything. "Jasmine. No," Lightning snapped, using the same arm to push Jasmine more roughly. Jazz finally took the hint and jumped off her, whimpering and scurrying away. Ugh. I scared her off. Terrific.
Riku turned his head, watching Jasmine run out of the room with her tail between her legs. He exhaled a breath and lowered his head, setting it in his hand as he continued to lean forward. Lightning was upset, he was tired, and things just weren't going well. He wondered if it was best he just went home or if he stayed here with the woman he loved.

Lightning rolled over on the couch so her face was down, her arms up by her head. Stupid. This is so stupid. She locked her jaw, the air tense in the room because of her own frustration and because of Riku's anger. Despite that, she was glad that he was here, because that was encouraging her to keep it all together and not just fall apart. Falling apart was what Carson wanted her to do; she couldn't give him the pleasure of defeating her.
Riku looked up at Lightning after a minute, and seeng her position, he decided something needed to be done. He pushed himself up and approached her, standing in front of the couch. "We should get to bed," he said, looking down at her from his position. It would be what was best, for both of them.

"We should," Lightning agreed, pushing herself up after a second. She just drank half a mug of coffee, but it felt like the caffeine had no effect on her. It made sense, since she was still so tired because of everything that happened lately. Bed sounded nice, especially since Riku said that he was going to sleep too. It'd be the first time in a while they shared a bed.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a small nod, stepping over so Lightning could get up from the couch. He knew his way, so he would show himself to the room. "I'll meet you in there," he said softly. He then turned, heading for the hall on his own. He figured she'd want to clean out the coffee mug and such before getting to bed; she always was the clean one, or so Serah had once told him.

Light nodded faintly to Riku before she got up, taking her mug to the kitchen. It only took a minute to clean that out and dump the remaining coffee down the drain, the young woman hoping she wouldn't need to drink coffee again for a while. At least this way she could catch up on her rest; that was definitely needed. She lifted a hand and ruffled her pink hair, shutting off most of the lights but leaving one on for Namine as she went back to her room.
Riku took his usual spot on the bed, the covers up to his navel as one hand rested on his stomach and the other was tucked behind his head. He stared up at the ceiling, more comfortable now than he had been the past few nights in his own bed. Light had that special touch, he guessed, and so did her things.

Claire walked into her room, seeing Riku on the bed already. She started over and sat on the edge of it, working on taking off her first boot in the silence that surrounded them. She wondered how long he was planning on staying, but she didn't want to ask, because she knew the answer probably wouldn't be a good one. He could never stay long enough for her tastes; she wanted him to never leave in the first place.
Riku turned his head to gaze at the woman that just entered the room, her being the one he loved. The moonlight coming through the window shone on her face, making her appearance that much more beautiful. She would always be beautiful, no matter what. Riku hoped he got to see that beauty every day, but right now, it just couldn't happen. Hopefully the future was brighter.

Light finished up with her boots and her pouch within a minute, putting both by her dresser before she got clothes to sleep in and went to the bathroom to get changed. She came out in sweats and a tanktop a minute later, going straight to the bed where Riku was still laying. She climbed into the bed with him and got under the covers, laying on her back for now.
Riku gazed at Lightning for a moment, but sensing some tension in the room, he turned away. He instead stared up at the ceiling again, his position the same. If Lightning didn't want to talk, he would understand. He would just go to sleep.

Light exhaled a soft breath, rolling over to face Riku's direction. She shut her eyes briefly, though she then opened them again to look at the boy in front of her. "Thanks for staying," she said softly, her voice just a murmur. She knew she wasn't really good company right now, but he was trying his best to help, even if there was no real way to do that. She was still tense from everything she was so upset, and it was hours ago.
"You're welcome," Riku said quietly, his tone the same level as Light's. He turned his head to look at her, his eyes finding hers in the darkness of her room. After a minute of silence, he moved his arm away from his stomach and lifted it, silently motioning for her to scoot over and under his arm. He wanted to be close to her.

Light obeyed Riku's request, scooting over so that she was right by him, his body heat radiating so that she felt it. But that was perfectly alright with her, because she liked feeling his warmth. It always reminded her that she wasn't alone, and she probably wouldn't ever be completely alone again. Riku wasn't going to walk out of her life anytime soon.
Riku wrapped his arm around Lightning in the silence, feeling her warmth and hair against the bare skin of his chest. He lowered his lips to her head and gave her a small kiss, then pulling back. "I love you," he said softly. "Nothing will change that." Not their stupid fight the other day, and not this day and all the chaos involved in it. She had his heart, for good.

Light shut her eyes, lifting a hand and sitting it on Riku's side as she was in his embrace. "I love you too," she said softly. "I always will." Even if they didn't end up working out for some reason, she would never forget Riku or what he meant to her. He was her first real love, and he would always hold a special place in her heart. Nothing could change that, on her side or on Riku's.
Riku's heart grew warm at that, and he hummed softly. He closed his eyes as his arm rested around her, his embrace gentle yet secure. He would sleep peacefully knowing that, and having Lightning so close. He missed her so much the last few days, the last few weeks. It was hard living without her by his side.

Lightning sighed a soft breath, just because. She was tired in every way--emotionally, physically, mentally...She needed to sleep, but now she felt a little more awake because of the coffee. She shouldn't have drank that, but it was too late now. She'd just stay in Riku's arms, wait for the caffeine to wear off, and then fall asleep. She supposed she had all the time in the world now to catch up on her sleep.
"Goodnight, Claire," Riku muttered, already half-asleep. He was about to pass out any time now, and he wanted to at least say that before he was completely unconscious. He would sleep peacefully with her in his arms, and while he was in this bed. This was where he wanted to be.

"'Night," Light said softly in return, hearing how Riku was almost out of it already. She was surprised, since he seemed awake to her earlier. But it didn't matter, because at least he should have gotten some rest. She didn't know how much sleep she would actually get, both because of the coffee and the thoughts in her head. But she would deal. What other choice did she have?
Riku registered Lightning's response only a few moments before he lost consciousness, his body relaxing and his breathing becoming even now that he was gone. He figured he would have dreamless sleep, considering he was so exhausted. That was alright; he would wake up in the morning and be with Light. That was enough.

Lightning listened to Riku's even breathing for a few minutes, though that wasn't all that she listened to. She listened to the thoughts in her head for a while, unable to help it since the caffeine was finally affecting her. She wasn't going to sleep for a while, but she'd try to be as still as possible so that she didn't disturb Riku. He deserved, and needed, to get his rest. She wasn't about to ruin that for him.

On Radiant Garden

It was the evening, and Kairi was sitting on her living room sofa, curled up against the arm of it with her legs out at her side. She was staring down at the letter in her hands, having finally gotten the courage to open it and read its contents. She could only stare at it now, the neatly-written words blurring at what her grandmother had said to her through this letter. "Grandma..."

Sora arrived in Radiant Garden after work, glad they finished up early enough that he could fly over to Kairi. He had been meaning to see her ever since they went to her grandmother's house, and he hoped that she was alright. He would find out soon enough, though, and if she wasn't okay, hopefully he could change that. The brunet wordlessly jumped off his glider and summoned it away, his armor disappearing as he looked at Kairi's house. Time to see my fiance.
