Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The moisture in Kairi's eyes never spilled over onto her cheeks, the girl composing herself so she could clearly ponder what was written to her. Her grandmother said that in order for Radiant Garden to be at peace she didn't have to stay. She may have had the strongest Light on the world, but love was all that was needed. "Just like the hearts of children that restored our home, the love of all who inhabit it will keep it from sinking into Darkness once more." The Light from love would keep this place strong against the Darkness. Kairi didn't have to be here.

Sora put his hands in his pockets, casually approaching Kairi's house. The lights were on, so he could tell that she was home. And besides, where would she have gone when it was starting to get dark? He didn't like the idea of her being out at night, especially not alone. He was even more protective of her when he wasn't with her, and all that he wanted to do was keep her on a leash and keep her tied to a safe place. But he couldn't do that, because Kairi couldn't live her life that way. He approached the door, pulling a hand out of his pocket and ringing the doorbell.
Kairi's head lifted instantly at the sound of the doorbell, the girl putting the letter aside on the couch cushion before pushing herself to her feet. She approached the door and opened it gently, her eyes finding the man she loved--her fiance. "Sora," she said softly, her smile of the same manner. This was a surprise.

Sora felt himself smile naturally at Kairi's presence, his eyes finding hers and failing to notice the moisture for the first second. "Hey babe," he greeted softly, glad to see her again even if he had just been away for a few days. A few days would always be too long for him, though, because he loved Kairi with all that he had within him. When she wasn't with him, it was like he wasn't complete.
Kairi's smile grew a little more at the pet name, though she opened the door more, moving with it. "Come on in," she encouraged quietly. He was welcome any time, and she almost got him a key once. Of course, she didn't think that would be necessary anymore; not after what her grandmother told her.

Sora nodded faintly while still smiling, accepting Kairi's invitation. He didn't want to leave right away, of course, even if he did mostly come to check in on her. But her facial expression didn't seem like one of devastation, so either she didn't open the letter or the letter said something good. He would ask her when the time was right, if she didn't come right out and tell him.
Kairi glanced at Sora before she shut the door, making sure to lock it. She felt safe when she was with Sora, but she always took precautions. Sora always used to encourage it anyway.

Sora gave Kairi enough room to shut the door, but her back was to him when it was shut and locked, so he took an opportunity to do something. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around his beloved from behind, his head over her shoulder as he gave her a light peck on the cheek. He couldn't help but show affection to her, because he felt like he had to do something to earn an angel like Kairi. She was perfect to him.
Kairi released a soft chuckle, her hands automatically finding Sora's arms over her stomach. "Hm," she hummed, turning her head to look at the boy she loved when the kiss was done. "What was that for?" She didn't expect any certain reason, really, but she felt like she had to ask. It was a move she hadn't expected.

"That was for you, goof," Sora responded softly, though he was being goofy himself by not really answering Kairi's question. He gave her affection just because he could, and that was something he planned on doing the rest of his life. Kairi was going to be by his side, or in his arms, as long as he had a say in it.
Kairi's smile softened at that, the girl still loving to hear that nickname. She turned in Sora's grasp, though she made sure his arms didn't fall from around her. She wrapped her arms around Sora as well, her hands linking behind his neck. "Well, I appreciate the affection," she said softly, her eyes on Sora's. She would for a very long time.

"Then you wouldn't mind a little more, would you?" Sora murmured softly, a small smile on his lips and a twinkle in his eye that almost never faded. He moved his head a little closer to Kairi's, feeling like he got his point across just fine. He wanted to share a kiss with the girl that he loved.
Kairi giggled a little, shaking her head. "No, I wouldn't," she said softly, then closing the gap between her and Sora's faces. She brought her lips to his, her eyes falling shut as she shared a gentle kiss with her fiance.

Sora felt himself smile a little at the kiss that he had been prepared to initiate but was beaten to. He shut his eyes and lightly kissed Kairi back, gentle as always. He knew that she was tough and it was hard to break her, but that didn't change how gentle he was with her. When it came to her, gentleness was what he always showed. That, and love. Lots of it.
Kairi's heart grew warm at the gentle kiss, the young lady knowing she should have been used to this feeling by now. But...she didn't think she would ever be familiar with it. That was okay, though, because she loved it all the same.

Sora pulled back after a few moments, his eyes opening to the beauty in front of him. He briefly ran a hand over her lower back, that being the position of his hands after she turned around to face him. He was so lucky to be able to hold her in his arms. He couldn't imagine anybody else being in this position, ever. Kairi was the only girl for him.
Kairi opened her eyes, catching the look in Sora's. She felt herself blush as she glanced away, but she immediately found his blue eyes again. "How've you been?" she asked after a brief moment of silence. It'd been a few days since she'd seen him last, but it felt like a lifetime.

"Worrying about you," Sora said softly, being honest as the small smile he had started fading. He had left her before right after she found the letter, and he desperately wished he could have stuck around, but he couldn't have. But at least the work on Destiny Islands was starting to wrap up; then he'd have more free time. Well, as much free time as he could, when he was looking for a job. He had to be able to support Kairi in the future.
Kairi's smile disappeared at that, the girl looking at Sora with slightly surprised eyes before they filled with understanding. Oh...right. She lowered her gaze to Sora's chest then, staring at it for the moment. He left just after she got the letter, which she had put off on reading until twenty minutes ago.

"So, how've you been?" Sora asked softly in seriousness, keeping his eyes on Kairi even after she looked away. He did have reason to be worried, didn't he? She probably would have told him otherwise if everything was alright. Or maybe she was just surprised to hear he was worried. He didn't know for sure until she answered his question.
Kairi shrugged, her eyes finding Sora's as she looked up at him from under her lashes. "I'm alright," she said softly, only guessing. She didn't really know how she'd been the last few days. They were just blurry to her, probably because she did everything possible to avoid reading the letter.
  • Author
"Have you decided what to do with the letter yet?" Sora asked when Kairi didn't offer any more details. Knowing her, she was dwelling on it for the past few days. But he had no clue as to whether or not she would reach a decision by now, since it was a big deal that her grandmother left her something.
Kairi nodded at the question, her eyes going over to the couch. "I opened it a little while ago," she revealed softly. It had been hard to read it, because she felt really close to her grandmother, knowing she had held that piece of paper once herself.

Sora blinked in surprise, following Kairi's gaze to the couch. Sure enough, there was the open letter. "...Are you okay?" he asked, shifting his gaze back to the girl in his arms. He didn't know what was in the letter, or if it was good or bad, or how Kairi was handling it. He hoped that it wasn't anything bad...the last thing that he wanted for Kairi was hardship.
"...I think so," Kairi said after shortly thinking about it. She didn't think she was too down about it, because their was nothing entirely heartbreaking in the letter. Life-changing, yes, on multiple occasions. Still...the only reason she was so weepy was because it was her grandmother that wrote this to her. Kairi felt like she was connected to her again.
