Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora tilted his head slightly, still gazing at Kairi intently. He studied her even though he didn't think she was lying, his eyes still reflecting concern. She thought she was okay, but that didn't necessarily mean that was really the case. But then again, she was happy just a minute ago, so she couldn't have been that down about it.
Kairi felt Sora's gaze on her, and she turned her head to meet it again. She smiled weakly at him, lifting a hand from behind his head to his spikes. "It's alright," she said, her voice holding a bittersweet tone. That was how the letter made her feel, anyway.

"You sure?" Sora responded softly, keeping his eyes on Kairi's. He didn't bother asking for the details of the letter, knowing that it wasn't any of his business what it said. But he had to admit, knowing would help him help Kairi, if she needed his assistance at all.
Kairi nodded again, her eyes still locked with Sora's. "Grandma was...really specific with the letter," she said softly. "I think I understand everything she wanted to tell me." Even if her grandmother never got the chance, she understood well enough now. She was mature enough to handle the news given to her, all of it. Including the bit about the love of her life.

Sora hummed, nodding faintly. Well then, he supposed that was good. The letter must have been pretty deep, since Kairi implied that some things could have been hard to understand. Or maybe he was just over analyzing things, since he didn't know what the letter said. But that was beside the point; he was here for Kairi, not the letter.
"And I think you'll be happy to hear something I discovered," Kairi said, her smile growing slightly as she ran her fingers over the spikes on the back of Sora's head. Her grandmother told her that Radiant Garden didn't need her Light anymore, since it had its own, but that didn't mean she couldn't use it for the good of someone else.

Sora blinked, his head tilting ever so slightly as he kept his gaze on Kairi. "What's that?" he asked, having no clue what she could be referring to. Something she discovered...so it wasn't something that she heard directly from the letter? Stop over analyzing, he silently scolded himself. Just wait for her to tell you what's up.
"My Light isn't needed here," Kairi said softly, shaking her head. "Not anymore." She could go back to the Islands now, with him. She could go home.

Sora felt his confusion grow, even if Kairi may have been clear to herself. "Why would I be happy about that?" he asked, keeping his voice at the same level as Kairi's. She desperately believed this world needed her Light, and now it was a good thing that it didn't? He didn't quite get why she was okay with that, or why it was supposed to make him happy.
Kairi felt her lips spread into a soft smile, the girl looking up at her fiance with gentle eyes. "Because, Sora, I get to go back to the Islands," she revealed then, her hand remaining in his spiky hair. "With you." They didn't have to be apart any longer.

Sora blinked in surprise, his eyes also widening slightly. "Wait. What?" he couldn't help but ask, his hands finding Kairi's waist and holding her lightly. She just said..."You're moving back to the Islands?" She didn't want to be here anymore now that she realized her Light wasn't needed?
Kairi giggled and nodded, her eyes still on the boy she loved. He was right, she was moving back. As long as she was welcomed, of course. And with her grandmother's special gift to her, she wouldn't have to worry about finding a home. Maybe she could get an apartment, with Namine. She missed the girl who was like her sister.

Sora felt himself smile, unable to help himself. "Kai..." he said in joy, lifting a hand to her head as he kept the other on her waist. His fingers intertwined with her hair, his bright blue eyes staying locked on hers. She was really moving back to the Islands? They were going to be together? She would finally be safe again...What a relief.
Kairi giggled softly once more, her eyes staying on Sora's. She didn't have to ask if he was happy, because it was clear as day on his face. He was elated, and she was the same. As lovely as it was in Radiant Garden, it was lonely and too quiet for her tastes. She wanted the Islands again, and the water and the sunshine. Her friends, too. But most of all, she wanted Sora by her side, as he always was when she was there. It would be that way forever, beside her fiance.

"I..." Sora laughed, shaking his head faintly as he felt his excitement coming through in his voice. "I want to make you move back right now." But it wasn't that easy; Kairi bought stuff since she was here in Radiant Garden, and surely she would want to take it to the Islands. They would need a gummi ship to help move all of her stuff back home. Home. Destiny Islands.
Kairi's smile remained, even as she leaned up and pecked Sora's lips with her own. When she pulled back, it was still there. "I'll move back as soon as I can, I promise," she told him softly. There was just one thing she had to take care of, a wish of her grandmother's. She couldn't forget it.

Sora's smile remained, though it did soften. "I'm gonna hold you to that," he said softly, his fingers still in Kairi's hair as he gazed at her. He wanted her to come home as soon as possible, so if she said she was going to move back as soon as she could, he was definitely going to make sure she kept that promise. Finally, they would be together again. Now...they could really plan their wedding.
Kairi took her hand out of Sora's spikes, instead linking her hands once more behind his head. "I had a feeling you would say that," she said, her smile softening ever so slightly. Of course, she couldn't wait to move back to the world where her future husband now lived. She wouldn't live with him, however, though she would get her own place. With her grandmother's gift, it wouldn't be too hard.

Sora nodded faintly, smiling sheepishly out of habit. Of course Kairi expected him to say that; that was a pretty obvious way for him to react to the situation. He was glad that he came today, to hear that Kairi was going to be with him again. He couldn't wait to tell Riku and their other friends that Kairi was finally coming home. Now maybe Namine would do the same.
"But, there's still one more thing I have to take care of before I go," Kairi said, her smile fading away as she brought up a more serious topic. She had to do what her grandmother asked her to in the letter. In the envelope was also her grandmother's will, which proved that there was a large sum of money for Kairi. Of course, there was some for Radiant Garden as well.

Sora felt his smile fade along with Kairi's, his eyes turning more serious and a bit confused. "What's that?" he couldn't help but ask, curious. He had no idea what that one thing could have been; he figured she was just staying a little longer to wrap things up, but apparently she had a specific task to complete. Was that good or bad?
Kairi loosened her hold on Sora, her hands coming to rest on his chest as she looked back toward the couch. "There wasn't only a letter inside the envelope. My grandma left me her will," she said softly, her eyes then finding the boy she loved. Her grandmother must have known her time to go had come, so she was prepared. "The help I've been wanting to give Radiant Garden this whole time is exactly the opportunity my grandma is giving me."
  • Author
Sora blinked at that information, surprised. He let his hand come to Kairi's shoulder, the teen briefly glancing at the couch and then back to Kairi again. "That's good, Kai," he said softly, believing that was truth. She was meant to be here after all, and now she knew what that purpose was. And because of that, she could come with him. It was all making sense now.
"Mm," Kairi hummed, her eyes falling to Sora's chest briefly. "I'm planning to tell Leon and the others tomorrow about it, and hopefully the portion of the munny my grandma left will be able to help them with Radiant Garden's restoration." She hoped it would help it completely, because the town was almost back to the way it was before. It would soon be the home she remembered, which she would gladly visit someday in the future.
  • Author
Sora hummed, nodding faintly as well. Even if Kairi didn't say it directly, he understood that her grandmother must have left money for the town. That was good, considering that Radiant Garden could use any help that it could get. But this world, like his own, was getting closer and closer to being fully restored. After working on his own world, he admired how much dedication the people of Radiant Garden had to put so much work into their home. It wasn't easy.
