Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Until the munny can be given to them, I'm going to stay here," Kairi said, her eyes finding her fiance once again. "You'll...wait, right?" He would wait for her to finish, wouldn't he? He was so happy about her going back to the Islands, and she was too, but she couldn't do it immediately. There were still some things to be done.

Sora felt himself smirk a little, his hand squeezing Kairi's shoulder. "Of course I'll wait, goof," he said, leaning forward and giving her a peck on the forehead. She just said that she was going to come back to the Islands, so he was content. If she had to stay here a little longer in order to make that happen, then he was okay with it. He would be as patient as he could with the process.
"Hmm," Kairi hummed, her eyes closing at the kiss as she smiled. That was good, really good. She and Sora were engaged after all; patience was really important, and would be for the rest of their lives.

Sora looked at Kairi after the kiss, his hand squeezing her shoulder at her expression. This was absolutely terrific. Of course, he wouldn't have minded if she came back with him today, but he knew he couldn't have things his way all the time. He'd be patient and let Kairi finish this so that they could both be at peace and stay together.
Kairi opened her eyes at the squeeze, finding Sora's gaze once more. "Sora," she said softly, her lips spreading into a small, hopefully smile. "Can you stay with me tonight? Please?" After such good news, she didn't want to be away from him. Besides, they hadn't stayed together for a long time, not even the night of her birthday...and their engagement. She missed him.

Sora glanced out towards the window, not sure staying was such a good idea. But..."I can be a little late to work tomorrow," he decided after a few minutes, smiling softly as he looked back to Kairi. He'd sleep in with her and then leave soon after she woke up and go back to work. After she brought up a great idea like that, how was he supposed to reject it? It was what he had wanted for a really long time anyway.
Kairi's smile grew, her eyes staying on the blue she loved. "Thank you," she whispered. She appreciated Sora agreeing. She had really missed him lately, and wanted to spend some time with him. It didn't matter if it was sleeping, because she loved waking up in the morning and knowing he was there with her the whole night. She would get that for the rest of her life.

Sora smiled, nodding faintly to his beloved. "You ready for bed now?" he asked softly. He knew that he was tired, after flying over here and after all the work on the Islands. But if she wanted to stay awake, maybe he could force himself to be up with her. It was about her, not him.
"Mhm," Kairi hummed with the same small smile. She just had to turn off all the lights and take the letter back up to her room, knowing she had to keep it safe. After that, she would sleep with the man she loved.

Sora nodded faintly again, his smile the same. "I'll see you upstairs, then," he said softly, taking his hands away from her. He just figured she would turn off the lights and everything, so while she did that, he'd get ready for bed as well. He couldn't remember the last time he slept in Kairi's bed; it had been far too long, no matter what the time period was.
"Okay," Kairi said, her hands coming back to her sides as well. She looked up at her fiance for a little longer before she stepped past him, starting toward the couch so she could put the letter and will back in the envelope for safekeeping, then turn out the lights for the night.

Sora went up to Kairi's bedroom and only took a minute to get ready, taking off his shirt and his shoes before he got into bed. He laid on his back and had one hand under his head, his gaze up on the ceiling. He couldn't wait until he did this with Kairi every night, when she was his wife. He would hold her close every night, just like he promised he would. He would always keep his promises with her.
Kairi went upstairs after making sure the back door to the house was locked, all of the lights out now. She stopped in the doorway of her room, smiling to herself when she saw her husband-to-be in her bed. She held the envelope in her hand, and she silently thanked her grandmother for helping her find out her purpose, the reason why she was away from Sora and the reason she could go back to him. Everything was starting to work out.

Sora felt himself smile faintly, not only because of his thoughts, but because he knew the girl he was just thinking about was in the doorway. He didn't bother looking, though, knowing he could gaze at her when she was lying beside him in bed. She still had to get ready for bed, after all; he could be patient and wait to look at her till then.
Kairi tucked a few strands of her red hair behind her ear as she smiled, her gaze going down to the floor as she started toward the dresser. She set the envelope in one of the drawers, then grabbing a pair of shorts and an oversized t-shirt of Sora's that she managed to steal in the past. She then went into the bathroom to change and brush her teeth, only taking a minute before she turned off the light and entered her room again, her fiance still in the same place as she left him.

Sora looked over at Kairi, his hand staying behind his head. "Lookin' good," he commented softly, smiling faintly. Was that his shirt? He had been missing it for a while, but he was alright with Kairi having it. Actually, it was more than alright, since he knew she liked having stuff of his, especially when they were apart.
Kairi chuckled softly, starting over towards the bed as she tucked some hair behind her ear again. "Why thank you," she said, her eyes on Sora as she made her way to the other side of the bed. She slipped in next to him, getting under the covers. She liked wearing Sora's clothes when they weren't really together; it made her feel close to him.

"'Welcome," Sora said with a small smirk, keeping his gaze on Kairi after she got into bed with him. He wished that he could gaze at her all night, but he was really tired from all the work on the Islands, so he would pass out in a few minutes. Besides, he was sure he would be able to be in a position like this in the future. And he couldn't wait for it.
Kairi reached over to turn off the lamp on the bedside table, the girl then settling into bed. She faced Sora however, her eyes resting on him as they adjusted to the darkness of her room. The moonlight that came in through the window helped, the girl smiling slightly. She couldn't help it; she just kept thinking about how she would be like this with Sora for the rest of her life. It was great.

Sora smiled softly as he looked at Kairi, though he shut his eyes after a few moments. "'Night," he said softly, feeling like he could pass out right away. Tomorrow would be a hard day, just like the rest of them. But now he had something to look forward to; that would keep him going.
"Goodnight, Sora," Kairi said, her eyes lingering on him for a moment before she closed them. "I love you." She was sure he knew that, and would always know that, but she wanted to tell him that anyway. He deserved to hear it.

"Love you too," Sora responded softly, the same faint smile staying on his lips. I always will. That was what he always vowed, and that same vow would be exchanged on their wedding day. The day that he couldn't wait for. However excited he was at the thought of the wedding, he still fell asleep within a minute or two, breathing even as he looked forward to a future with Kairi.
Kairi listened to Sora's even breathing for a little while, not nearly as tired as he had been. Eventually, she started dozing off, and after scooting a little closer to Sora, she managed to fall asleep. She knew it would be a peaceful rest, hopefully full of good dreams.

One week later

Lightning stood beside the Gummi ship, looking at it and studying it. This was what they used to come to Radiant Garden today, to move Kairi's possessions to Destiny Islands. She was going home, and Namine was going to live with her in an apartment once they got there. So, Lightning would be alone in Cocoon again. Even Jazz was going to the Islands, since she could be properly taken care of then. She hadn't heard anything from the Corps about her job, but she needed to live in Cocoon until she was actually fired. Honestly, she was surprised Carson didn't come and arrest her sometime within the past week. She thought he would have made bogus charges to bring her down.

Kairi wrapped the cord around the lamp in her bedroom, a box set on the table it was sitting on before. She was finally leaving Radiant Garden and going to the Islands, where she would live in an apartment alongside her best friend. She was excited, though she was upset that she was leaving this world behind as well. This used to be her home, when she was younger. She was at least happy she retrieved some photos of her family from her grandmother's house. That was nice to bring back to Destiny Islands.
