Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora felt himself smile, seeing the box full. "Last box," he said with a sigh, moving and picking it up. Everything else was already in the ship, so they were ready to go back to the Islands whenever Kairi was. He appreciated that some of his other friends came to help them move things as well. He was surprised to see Lightning here, but he didn't complain, especially since she was helpful. She still seemed down about her job, but she was covering it up most of the time so she wouldn't get any pity. That was how Riku explained it to him, anyway.
Kairi exhaled a heavy breath, nodding as she looked from the box to the man she loved. "Yeah, last one," she agreed softly. Her room was now empty and bare, as if there was no trace of her here. That was alright, since there weren't many memories made here anyway. She would have a lot more when she went home, her real home. With Sora, Riku, and the rest of her friends. This was the start of a new chapter in her life, and she was perfectly alright with that.

Sora smiled weakly at Kairi's expression, realizing this was bittersweet to her. He was thrilled over it, but he would keep back his excitement so he didn't seem rude. "See you outside," he said softly, starting out. She could have a minute to say goodbye to her house, and the world, before they left.
Kairi watched Sora go before she looked around her room again, seeing that the walls were bare and the carpet was clean. Every other room in the house was the same way, since she was leaving. Leon already told her that this house would go to another person in need of a home. That was after she told them what was going on and after they received her grandmother's donation, which they were grateful for. She was glad to help out, and that was all she really wanted to do in her stay here. It was time for her to go.

Sora walked out the front door with the box, seeing his friends gathered by the ship. But he also saw Leon, which was a surprise. Leon wasn't close to Kairi. But even at a distance, Sora could tell that Leon wasn't here to say goodbye; he was here for other business. And that business probably wasn't anything good. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly, not hearing what he was saying to the group about Darkness streaming out of the castle where Maleficent once resided.
Riku stared down at the ground, his arms crossed over his chest as he stood with his group of friends. Darkness still lingered here, after all this time? There was no doubt in his mind that they needed to check it out. After all, they were the only ones who could. Taking Kairi's things back to the Islands would have to wait.

Lightning watched Leon walk away after sharing the news, though her eyes went to the ground when Sora walked into the Gummi ship with a box of Kairi's things. Obviously they were meant to check out that castle, so they weren't going back to Destiny Islands right away after all. She was fine with it, more concerned with the Darkness that was threatening her home world. Where was it coming from, and why?

Roxas's eyebrows were furrowed as he stared after Leon, though he immediately looked to the others. "We're all thinking the same thing, aren't we?" he asked, and when he caught Riku's eye, he knew they were on the same page. He nodded a little. "When're we leaving?"

"Now," Kairi answered, having heard Roxas's second question and not the first. She left the keys to the house underneath the mat outside the front door, that way they could be retrieved later. She wore a small smile, satisfied that the packing was done and they could go home. She stopped next to her friends, her arms by her sides as she looked at all their serious expressions. She didn't know why they were so serious at a time like this, but she kept up with her optimistic attitude. "What're we waiting for?"

Light caught Sora leave the ship and join the rest of them, the woman realizing both of them were clueless. Nobody else spoke right away, so she did. "We can't leave now," she said, shaking her head and glancing from Kairi to Sora. "Leon just said there's Darkness pouring out of the castle."

"So we have to check it out," Sora concluded, eyebrows furrowing in seriousness. He caught Lightning nod, and so he nodded in return. "Okay, let's get it over with." He wanted to take Kairi home, where she belonged. But if there was Darkness involved here, he wasn't comfortable leaving her alone. He supposed...the best plan was to bring her to the castle too. How bad could it be?

"But...what will Namine and I do?" Kairi asked, looking to the man she loved as she spoke for herself and her best friend. She understood that their trip to the Islands was put on hold, but what about now? Kairi just moved out of her house, so they couldn't go there. And she was sure Leon and the others were busy, especially if they asked her friends to take charge of this situation.

Sora glanced at Kairi and Namine, seeing the latter nod in agreement to Kairi's question. "...You two should probably come with," he decided, looking over the rest of the group to see if they agreed. "If there's any danger, it's best to have them close." They could protect them easily, since that was what they were always determined to do. Besides, four of them could fight, so it would be easy for them as a group to defend two girls. If that was even necessary.
"Yeah," Roxas agreed with a small nod. He didn't want either of the girls in harm's way, but if the Darkness was leaking from the castle now, it could be in town in a matter of hours. That wasn't a risk Roxas was willing to take.

"Okay, then let's get going," Sora said with a small nod, grabbing Kairi's hand before he started forward. He wasn't the first, though, Lightning ahead of him. He wasn't surprised by that, since he knew by now that she was never afraid to face a battle. In some ways, she was always eager for the next fight, always ready. I guess that's the soldier in her.
Kairi walked with Sora, glancing over her shoulder to see the rest of her friends following. She looked forward again to keep up with Sora's pace, not sure what to expect at the castle. Darkness was an obvious one, but she was actually a little...frightened. There hadn't been any problem in a long time, and now the Darkness just shows up?

It didn't take long for them to reach the castle, Namine standing by it and staying close to Roxas's side. She couldn't sense Darkness like the boys could, but she thought she saw some kind of weird, dark swirl. She wouldn't call it a portal, because it didn't quite look like one. And besides, why would there be a portal at the castle? This place was probably just dark because it was always being used for menacing purposes...That was what she wanted to believe.
Riku didn't summon his Keyblade to his hand yet, seeing that Roxas hadn't either. There were no enemies to fight, but the stench... It burned Riku's nose, making his eyes narrow as he took a few more steps forward than the others, his eyes on the portal. He wasn't close enough that it could affect him, the boy making sure to keep his distance for the moment. "Huh," he said, tilting his head slightly as his eyebrows furrowed. This was interesting.

Lightning followed Riku's gaze to the portal, stepping up so that she was just a step further away than he was. She couldn't identify what that thing was, but it sure didn't look good. Everything in her mind was telling her that this was a threat, and her hand was itching to grab her sword. But whatever threat this was, it couldn't be taken down with just a swing of her sword. What is this, anyway?
Riku's senses were on fire because of the amount of Darkness radiating from the swirl, and it started to hurt his head. "...I think this is what's causing the Darkness," he told his friends, his eyes staying locked on the rotating black and purple swirl. He was close to it, and because of that, he was pretty on edge, but there was no reason to call to his Keyblade; there weren't any threats that he could detect enemy-wise. Everything that was triggering his senses was from this thing.

Sora stayed a little further away from the Darkness with Kairi, noticing Roxas did the same with Namine. But they were still close to this thing, and he didn't like it. "It has to be that. Even I can sense the Darkness it holds," he said, eyes narrowed as he looked at it. He tightened his grip on Kairi's hand, wondering what this dark ball of energy was. And how did it get there? He had never seen Darkness this extreme randomly pop up like this.

Kairi continued to hold Sora's hand, and when his grip tightened, her heart leaped. It was never good when he tightened his hold on her; it always told her something bad was going to happen. It didn't help that she started to feel a little weak because of the amount of Darkness nearby.

Riku took another small step forward, hearing what Sora said. "It's not just Darkness," he said lowly, his eyes narrowing even more. He could sense something more from it, and it only took a second for him to figure it out. The realization made him stiffen, his body frozen. "...It's a portal." This isn't good...

Namine blinked at Riku's words, and his reaction to what he now understood. But...she didn't understand why that was so catastrophic. She was starting to feel weak from it, though, a feeling that she didn't want to confess having. Whatever this was, it was serious, and she didn't want Roxas feeling like he had to take her away from here. Surely he was needed to look into this too.

Riku blinked, a grunt leaving his lips when he thought he saw something move inside the portal. "Move," he ordered lowly, taking a small step back. He saw the same movement again and turned around to look at his friends. "Move now!" He stepped toward Lightning and put a hand on her shoulder, turning her around roughly in urgency. They had to go now!

Roxas's eyes widened at the urgency, and he tightened his hold on Namine's hand before he turned around. He put a hand on Namine's arm as well, encouraging her to move quickly. He didn't know what was going on, but Riku wouldn't joke around about something so serious.

Light grunted at the turn, almost stumbling because the Darkness affected her a little bit. It didn't help that she was one of the closest, alongside Riku. And even if she didn't see a threat, she knew to trust his judgment when it came to the Darkness. She started away, catching Sora, Kairi, Namine and Roxas already doing just that.

Riku started to move after the others, but something latched around his ankle. He stumbled, falling to the ground with a grunt. He turned and looked over his shoulder as he lay on his stomach, seeing a tendril of black and purple Darkness wrap around his ankle. His eyes widened, but then he heard Kairi whine.

Kairi had to stop running with Sora, something grabbing her from around her waist. She was jerked to a stop, a gasp leaving her lips before a whimper escaped her throat. The Darkness... "Sora!" she cried, her hand barely still holding his. What was happening?!

Sora's eyes widened, the teen glancing back and seeing the thing that held onto Kairi. He summoned his Keyblade and tried to sever it, but then a tendril of Darkness came out and stopped his arm before it hit. He grunted, feeling it tugging at him and force him to drop his Keyblade. "Riku, what's--?!"

Lightning heard Sora's sentence be cut short, though she didn't know why. It didn't really matter. She looked back to the portal and ducked when a tendril went for her, though it wasn't really going for her in the first place. It latched around Namine's arm instead while Lightning was just reaching back to pull out her sword and sever the Darkness that latched onto Riku. But then the Darkness came at her too, wrapping around that arm to stop it from grasping the weapon. She grunted and lifted a foot to try and kick the dark tendril to make it loosen, but another one came out and grabbed that ankle. She felt both tendrils yank at her and she fell with a grunt, eyes widening in surprise. What's going on?!
