Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas felt Namine get pulled away from him, and at that same time the tendrils of Darkness latched around both of his arms. He was pulled to the ground, just like a few of the others. "What?!" he cried in shock. What was going on?!

Riku turned over roughly, finding it hard when the Darkness was pulling at him. He summoned his Keyblade and started swinging at it, but it didn't work. The Darkness shot out and knocked his Keyblade out of his grasp, making his eyes widen. He cried out when he was suddenly pulled through the portal, though the cry was cut off since he was so close to it in the first place.

Kairi stumbled back when the tendrils wrapped around her waist started pulling her back, and as she fought it to the best of her ability, she knew there was no use. She shrieked when she was jerked back, suddenly feeling murky Darkness all around her as she too disappeared into the portal.

"No!" Sora cried when he lost his grip on Kairi's hand, though he didn't have time to think about that for long. He fell down to the ground as well and was sucked into the blackness, losing his bearings on everything when that happened. And, along with everyone else who was sucked in, he also lost consciousness.
Roxas started getting pulled toward the portal, though he wrestled against it the whole way. There was no point, however, because once he was inside the portal, he fell unconscious. The struggle was over and lost.

A little while later, Sora started coming to, though his head felt foggy because of the Darkness. "Tch," he grunted softly, eyebrows furrowed as he laid on his stomach somewhere. At least he didn't feel any of the tendrils on him anymore, and he didn't sense any threats around him. He only sensed a lot of Darkness.
Riku was already up, the boy sitting on his knees as he looked around the area. His head was killing him because of the amount of Darkness around, but he just had to get used to it; he hadn't been around this much Darkness since he was in the Dark Realm. He heard Sora's grunt and looked over at him, seeing that he was coming to. He couldn't say the same for the others, though he did expect Roxas to wake up soon; he was never out for long.

Sora set his hands on the ground and slowly pushed himself up to his knees, ignoring his pounding head as he opened his eyes. He blinked, eyes widening afterward when he saw people lying on the ground. Lightning, Namine, Roxas, and Kairi. He looked at her longer than the rest, but then he noticed someone was already sitting up--the other person in their group. He looked to him, seeing his expression at being surrounded by the Darkness. "Where are we?" he couldn't help but ask Riku, figuring he might have had some kind of clue.
Riku looked at the place in front of him, and though it didn't look like anywhere familiar, the feeling was the same. "I hate to say it," he started lowly, his eyes narrowing as his brows furrowed, "but we're in the Realm of Darkness." He just didn't know where. This looked nothing like he remembered, but he couldn't mistake the feeling he had in his heart. It was way too familiar to confuse with something else.

Sora's eyes narrowed, the teen sitting back on his knees. "...That's what I thought," he said with a small nod. He had been here a long time ago, when Maleficent saved him, Donald, and Goofy from Saix and his Nobodies. But their visit had been cut short. Regardless, he had a feeling that this place was the one he visited so long ago. It was just something that he could sense in his heart.
Riku saw trees around him, grass and dirt underneath his knees. His hands formed fists when he realized what happened, his eyes finding Sora again. "The portal transported us from the Realm of Light to the Realm of Darkness, but we're not actually in the Realm of Darkness itself. We're in a world," he explained lowly, not at all happy about it. He wasn't familiar with any of the territory, and that made him nervous. He was sure Roxas wouldn't like it either, since he was starting to come to a few feet away.

Sora looked around, surprised to hear that. There were actual worlds in this realm? It was something that he had never considered before. "...This is bad," he said softly, glancing over at Kairi on the ground. And Namine and Lightning were within his sight, none of them moving. It was probably because their Lights weren't used to be in a place that was filled with so much Darkness.

Roxas grunted, opening his eyes to see a sky above him, as well as some trees at the edge of his peripheral vision. He forced himself to sit up, since he had been lying on his back before. He noticed the others for the first time, seeing that Sora and Riku were the only other ones awake. His eyes instantly located the girls, his naturally lingering on Namine's unconscious form. "...What happened?" he asked, bringing a hand to his head as he frowned. Where were they?

Riku's eyes were on Roxas since he sat up, and he gazed at him before looking at the world around him. "Welcome to the Realm of Darkness," he said bitterly. Whatever world this was, it wasn't a good one, since it had so much Darkness. It was going to get ugly here, he could just feel it.

Sora glanced behind him for the first time, not seeing any sign of the portal that dropped them here. There's no way back? That's even worse. But there was something even worse than that, and they were still lying on the ground unconscious. None of those girls, not even Lightning, could survive in a realm like this by themselves. The boys would have to watch out for them.
Roxas's eyes widened at that, but he didn't question it; he knew better than to doubt something so serious. After all, they were just dragged away by Darkness. It made sense. The boy's eyes moved to Namine again, and he crawled over to where she was lying down. He lightly turned her over, holding her upper body in his arms as he looked down at her face. "Nam," he called softly, shaking her a little. She didn't respond, however, and he knew it was because she was weak here. The Darkness would be too much soon.

"...We need to find a way out of here," Sora said softly after a moment, lifting a hand and running it over the back of his head. He looked to Kairi on the ground, seeing how she still wasn't regaining consciousness. He didn't know much about the Realm of Darkness, so he was worried that as long as they stayed in a place this dark, the girls wouldn't be able to regain consciousness. It would be especially hard for Kairi, considering how pure her heart was.
Riku pushed himself up at the statement, taking a few steps toward Lightning's form. He knelt down and started to move her, that way he could carry her on his back. "I suggest we get moving then," he said, pulling Light's arms gently over his shoulders before he reached behind him for her legs. Once he had a secure hold on her, he rose to his feet, keeping a secure grip on Light's legs as he faced Sora and Roxas. The girls would have to be carried for now.

Sora nodded slightly in agreement, shifting his gaze to Riku and Lightning before he looked back to Kairi. He scooted over since he was already close to her, carefully putting her arms over his shoulders once she was sitting up a little. He then grasped her legs and carefully stood up, feeling her limp body on his back. He felt bitter because of that, but he was more worried than bitter. If they ran into any enemies, they were done for. They couldn't fight with the girls on their backs like this.
Roxas stood up when he was holding Namine the same way, some of her blonde hair being blown by the wind as her head rested against his shoulder. It tickled his face, but he ignored it, seeing that Riku was already walking. He followed him in silence, not having any other choice. They were stranded...wherever they were in the Realm of Darkness. He didn't like it, but there wasn't anything he could do but try to leave.

Sora took the rear of the group, cautious but also thoughtful as he stayed with Riku and Roxas. He thought about maybe getting on his glider and flying to look around (and possibly avoid threats on the ground), but that could have gone wrong too. If they flew and an enemy spotted them, then they were in deep trouble. Their best option was to walk and keep an eye on their surroundings.

Riku led Sora and Roxas for a while, nothing but a forest surrounding them. It seemed like it was endless, but he knew there had to be civilization somewhere. His senses were already on fire from all of the Darkness, but he stopped short when he heard a twig snap. He looked to the side, his grasp on Lightning tightening slightly. He wasn't just imagining things, was he? He was paranoid and nervous, but not that badly.

Roxas stopped when Riku did, only a few feet behind him with Namine on his back. "What's up?" he asked then, lifting an eyebrow. Why did they stop?

"Quiet," Riku snapped, though his tone wasn't harsh. It was just quiet and cautious, the boy feeling that exact same way. Something was going on here. A twig snapped before. It had to have snapped; he wouldn't imagine something so little.

Sora didn't hear what Riku heard, though he did look around the area just to check. He would have told Riku he didn't see, hear, or sense any threat, but obviously Riku wanted to believe that without his or Roxas's input. Riku was probably just overly nervous because this was one of the first situations he was in where Lightning was unconscious and he didn't know his surroundings. He was so worried about her he was imagining threats.
Riku didn't move for a moment, listening intently for any other sounds. Maybe it was just a squirrel or something, he thought. "Never mind," he said to his friends, starting forward again. He knew he didn't imagine it, but it must not have been a threat if nothing happened.

Lightning started coming out of her unconsciousness, though she hardly felt like she could move a muscle. Ugh...what is this, making me feel completely weak? She grunted softly in her unconsciousness, her head on Riku's shoulder and facing towards him. She already sensed that she was being carried, and even in her hazy state, she knew that her boyfriend was the one carrying her. Riku, what's going on?

They all walked for a few minutes longer, but Roxas had to stop when Riku did. "What?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow. What was going on now?

Riku ignored Roxas, looking over his shoulder at the woman he was carrying on his back. He heard that noise, and it came from her. Was she finally waking up?

"Riku?" Light mumbled, finding it harder to speak than she expected. Whatever was affecting her, she wanted it to go away immediately. She was a soldier, and she always stood on her own two feet. Being carried along like this and being helpless was humiliating. She didn't even have the energy to express that, though, or change the situation. She had to get some strength back somehow.
Riku blinked at the voice, his suspicions being confirmed. "Yeah," he answered softly, no longer moving. Light was the first one to regain consciousness out of the girls, but he wasn't surprised. She had an amazing amount of strength. "You okay?"
