Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning nodded faintly against Riku's neck and shoulder, though she wasn't sure if she was really okay or not. "I feel like I can't move at all," she murmured, some bitterness in her voice alongside the weakness. She didn't mind Riku carrying her around for casual occasions, because she knew he liked holding her close, but now wasn't one of those times. They must have been in danger after being sucked into the portal like that.
Roxas heard that, and he noticed that Riku didn't respond right away. He probably didn't like hearing that information, because Roxas sure didn't. His hold on Namine tightened more, the boy turning a little to glance at Sora. Did that mean Namine and Kairi would be the same way?

"Are we still close to a source of Darkness?" Lightning mumbled to Riku, not noticing Sora and Roxas share a look of concern. If that was the case, then they had to keep moving and get away from it in order for her to snap out of the stupor. In the back of her mind, she considered that Kairi and Namine were in the same condition as she was right now. The Darkness could have been the only thing making her this weak; she recalled this feeling now, and she had experienced it when Maleficent poisoned her with the Darkness.
"Most likely," Riku answered, starting to walk again. He held Light securely to his back, trusting Roxas and Sora to follow his lead again. His senses were still on high, so Light was probably right. They weren't close to where the portal dropped them off, so that couldn't be it. It had to be something else, which didn't sit well with him.

"Can you fill me in?" Light requested softly, feeling Riku start walking again. She didn't open her eyes to look where they were going, focusing on gaining more strength. She wouldn't let Riku just carry her around like this; she had to be able to stand on her own two feet, especially in a place that held so much Darkness. She was determined and strong, so she could probably do it. She just needed a little time.
Riku hummed in response, stepping over a rock in his way as he continued walking. "The portal brought us to a world in the Realm of Darkness," he explained softly. "We don't know the specifics." Like the name of the world or what exactly was going on. He just knew the basics.

Light nodded faintly, not speaking any response. There wasn't much to say, anyway. They were all in danger, and she didn't doubt that for a second. She needed to toughen up as soon as possible and carry her own weight. If Sora and Roxas were carrying the others like she suspected, then they would be in serious trouble if an enemy approached them. At least two of them should have been able to fight.
It took a while, but eventually Kairi started to come out of unconsciousness. She moaned a little in her sleep, everything hurting. Every part of her body was aching and her head was pounding; it definitely wasn't pleasant. Her fingers curled to form weak fists before they gave out again, the girl wondering what was making her feel so miserable.

Sora glanced at Kairi a little over his shoulder before he looked ahead again, seeing the others ahead of him. "Take your time, Kairi," he silently encouraged. He wasn't affected by the Darkness, since he didn't have as much Light in his heart as Kairi and the other girls. And besides, he had been in places like this before, so he built up an immunity of sorts.
Kairi grunted weakly, hearing the message. She accepted it, though she wasn't feeling too great. What was going on? The last thing she remembered was being pulled away from Sora by that thing near the castle. And now she just hurt everywhere. It was irritating, but she couldn't exactly do anything about it right now.

"Riku, put me down," Lightning said softly, her hands now on his shoulders as he still carried her. She felt like she could walk now, since she had been awake for a little while and fighting the affects of the Darkness. If she couldn't walk, then at least she tried. But she wouldn't allow herself to fail, because she wouldn't be a liability to Riku. He needed the freedom to fight if it came to that.
Riku continued to walk, his focus still forward. "You sure?" he asked Light softly, wanting to make sure that she could truly walk before he set her down. He didn't want her collapsing on him.

Claire nodded faintly, humming as well. "I at least need to try," she said softly. Maybe she could walk with support. Even if she did have to do that, then Riku could easily shove her away and fight any necessary battles. And hopefully walking would help her out as well and make this feeling of weakness wear off.
Riku nodded and stopped walking, loosening his hold on Light's legs. He understood what she was getting at, and he admired and loved her for her strength, as usual. She was brave and determined, which he adored about her. But as much as he liked it, he didn't feel comfortable with her being here, around all this Darkness. He was familiar with it, but she wasn't. At least not as much as him.

Light sensed Sora and Roxas stop walking when Riku did, Riku's reason for stopping obvious. She felt her feet touch the ground and she forced her legs not to give out, though she didn't move away from Riku completely. She set a hand on his back and also leaned her forehead against him, eyes shut as she exhaled a breath. She could do this. She had to.
"Take all the time you need," Riku told the woman he loved quietly, his hands coming back to his sides. He knew this wouldn't be easy for her, since this place contained nothing but Darkness. It would take some getting used to.

Lightning shook her head faintly, knowing that she would take too much time if she took this slowly. She took her head away from Riku's back and slowly took her hand away as well, standing on her own. "Let's keep moving," she said softly, looking at the back of his head. They couldn't linger here, because they would be ambushed if an enemy realized how vulnerable they were. They needed to keep moving and find a safe haven or a way out of here.
Kairi heard footsteps after Light spoke, so she knew Riku must have started walking again. She was still resting on Sora's back, however, so she would be moving whenever he did. She really wasn't feeling well, but she couldn't be a liability this whole time. She had to stand on her own, like Lightning. But I don't have her strength...

Namine heard the group go on, also feeling Roxas start walking again. She was starting to wake up for the second time, having woken up but passed out a little before Kairi woke up. She exhaled a breath and tightened her grip on her own wrist, her arms latched in front of Roxas. He shouldn't have to carry me like this...
Roxas continued walking behind Riku and Lightning, still holding his beloved on his back. She could take her time waking up as well; there weren't any threats to worry about. They were just walking, and hopefully to civilization. But then again, who was to guarantee that would even be helpful? They could just run into trouble there.

"I'm sorry, Roxas," Namine murmured, feeling like she was just a burden right now. She was starting to regain some strength, and she was definitely feeling better than earlier, but she still didn't feel like she could walk. And even if she could, what difference would it have made? She still would have been defenseless if an enemy appeared.
Roxas blinked at the voice, the boy turning his head a little to try and see Namine. "Hm?" he hummed softly. What was she sorry for? She didn't do anything wrong. Nothing that happened was her fault; it was just bad luck...or destiny. He wasn't sure which.

"You shouldn't have to carry me like this," Namine said softly, shaking her head faintly against Roxas's shoulder as her eyes stayed shut. She should have been stronger, somehow. She felt like she had been on Roxas's back for a while, so he must have been tired too. He shouldn't have had to carry her weight along with his own.
Roxas glanced down at the ground at that, shaking his head. "Shh," he shushed her gently. "It's alright. Just gather your strength." He would carry her until she was strong enough to walk. He wasn't going to take any risks.

Namine shook her head again, hearing Roxas's gentle tone. "It's not alright," she said softly. I'm trying to gather my strength, but it's not enough for me to even stand on my own two feet. It's...pathetic. The Darkness had never caused her to be this vulnerable before, and she didn't like it one bit.
