Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Even if Roxas was standing behind Riku, he could practically see him roll his eyes at Zant's lie; even he knew he was lying. Regardless, he held Namine closer when the question was about him and her, his blue eyes hard as he stared at the man. We're just like them, he answered for himself and the girl he loved. Mind, body, and heart.

"...Alright," Zant said after a few moments of not getting an answer, seeing that there was no good reason for the Nobodies to be with them. He imagined one of the Keybladers would have pointed out that these Nobodies were unique, but that was just it-- He already knew they were different, since it was something he could sense. He just didn't care. Nobodies are still nobodies. "Perhaps you'll humor me with another topic." He shifted his gaze to the person that was still glaring at him, the one who stood right next to the bold Keyblader. "Why have you yoked yourselves with a normal warrior?"

Riku took the opportunity to answer this question. "She's one of the strongest people we know," he said of the woman he loved. "She has a good sense of justice and, most importantly, sides with the Light. That's why we've 'yoked' ourselves with a soldier." Light was intelligent, agile, and strong. She could handle whatever came at her, omit a few specific events in the past.

Grace leaned against a table in the room, her hands on either side of her. She tilted her head, some of her red curls falling over her shoulder. That was a strong answer, she realized. There's something going on between those two. She even saw it when they were in the forest.

"No reason is good enough to be tied to an ordinary soldier," Zant said, waving off Riku's response. "Keyblade wielders have a lot of responsibility on their shoulders, to protect their realms. And now you've dragged somebody else into your fight. Congratulations."

"I didn't get dragged into anyth--"

"And anyway, those who align themselves with Keyblade wielders ultimately thirst for the power themselves," Zant said, keeping his brown eyes on the soldier he just interrupted. "It eats away at them until ultimately, they'll do whatever it takes to get that power. You're foolish Keyblade wielders for not seeing how yearningly she stares at your weapons." He saw her glare get more fiery at that, a grunt leaving her. Ah, so she does want a Keyblade. Interesting.

"...She admires and appreciates it," Kairi replied weakly, her voice soft in the quiet room. "She isn't as selfish as you make her out to be." The girl could listen in clearly now and hold her head up now that the Darkness was lessened from outside; she wasn't sure why that was, but she accepted it because it gave her some strength. However, Kairi refused to believe in what Zant just assumed. Lightning wasn't like that in her eyes.

Zant shifted his gaze to the Princess, seeing that she had enough strength to speak. He was impressed. "I would expect a naive answer like that from you, Princess of Light," he said with a small nod. "But the desire for a Keyblade can change the person at their core and turn them into a selfish beast who will do anything for power. That's why it's best to sever all close ties with warriors close enough to betray you." And he had a plan to do just that, right now. The people outside were waiting for a fight, and he would give them just that. His finest warrior, Jeremy, against the girl he was staring at now.

"You're a liar," Kairi said, her grasp on Sora's shirt over his chest tightening as she gathered the strength and courage to speak once more. Lightning may have admired the strength the Keyblade provided, but she wasn't hungry for the power. Kairi wouldn't believe that; she refused to see the ugly in her friends.

"Enough with the squeaking, Your Highness," Grace piped up from her place near the table, only a few feet behind and to the side of her Master. Zant never liked to be talked down to, or be interrupted. The Princess would receive ugly treatment if she kept this up.

"I've already made my decision," Zant declared, to the Princess and the rest of the assembly. "Jeremy, let's do these Keybladers a favor and sever the bond they have with this abomination. It seems they won't be willing to do it themselves." Of course, he didn't want to slit Lightning's throat right here; he wanted to make a spectacle of it. Surely Jeremy and the rest of his warriors understood that.

Jeremy instantly smiled, though it was dark, just like his character. "Excellent," he said, glancing at Lightning. He winked at her before he left the room, going to get prepared for his time in the arena. He would see her in just a few minutes.

Riku watched Jeremy go before he looked back to Zant, confused and cautious. What was he talking about, severing the bond? He couldn't possibly mean what Riku thought he did.

"A fight to the death in my arena," Zant said with a wicked smile, looking over the group to see their expressions. "The public does love fights like these, especially since they always know who the winners will be. Jeremy has never lost a battle." And nothing is going to change that, especially not some power-hungry soldier who "aligns" herself with Keyblade wielders. "Adam, take her down a while." He looked over his shoulder and saw the young man nod in silence, starting over to the group to take Lightning away.

Riku blinked, his eyes widening. Wait a second! he wanted to cry, also wanting to step in front of Lightning and shield her from Adam. But if he did that, he would die. He knew that would be the punishment for getting in the way. No...

Light saw Zant step aside to allow Adam to come forward, the young man silently pulling her front before he turned her and pinned her hands behind her back. "Hmph," she hummed, shifting her gaze to Zant. "Your boy's gonna suffer his first loss today, Zant," she said quietly, though her tone held confidence. The Darkness here was less for some reason, so she could fight like she normally would. She wasn't about to die to some Keyblade wielder from the Realm of Darkness. She caught him glare at her, but then Adam gave her a shove and led her on her way.

Riku smirked ever so slightly as he stared at the ground, admiring Lightning's confidence. In all honesty, he was scared; he didn't want to lose her. But I won't. She'll win.

Zant watched the two leave before he shifted his gaze to the other Keyblade wielders, the Nobodies, and the Princess. "This'll be quite a show," he said, smiling a little in excitement. "All of you, take a seat. I insist." He motioned to the seats behind him, set up for his audience. Surely they would want to see their friend's downfall. He hoped she would fall to Jeremy's blade, but if she didn't, he had a back-up plan. He always did.

Roxas caught Riku's glance back at them, and he nodded to him. What other choice did they have? Roxas started after Riku, approaching the seats once they passed Zant. He started to gently set Namine down in one, planning to take the one beside her. He had to admit, he was afraid for Lightning's sake and didn't like the idea of watching her fight. He was sure he wasn't the only one.

Namine looked up to Roxas when he set her down, the girl biting her lip in worry for Lightning. Would she be alright? These Keybladers seemed really strong, and Zant had Lightning against his best warrior. And if Light did fall, what happened to the rest of them? Were they next in line? She saw Sora set Kairi down in a chair out of the corner of her eye, the blonde being reminded of her best friend. I don't want to lose her.

Roxas squeezed Namine's hand before he took the seat next to her, having seen her look. Light would be alright; she was strong. Of course, Jeremy was obviously the same if he was going up against her. We'll just have to hope she makes it out alive.

Kairi looked up at her fiance once she was set down, the chair surprisingly comfortable. She figured they wouldn't get such luxurious treatment, but she was sure it was all an act. Of course, she couldn't think much of it, worried for Lightning and trying to keep her head up; the Darkness wasn't as strong here, but it still affected her, which was unfortunate. She needed to be strong right now, not weak.

Sora glanced down at Kairi when she was seated, the brunet nodding faintly to her in reassurance. It'll be alright. He moved and took the seat next to her, seeing Zant take a seat with Mandy and Timothy by the end of the row. All of them were already talking, making bets. The conversation made him feel sick to his stomach, knowing Lightning was in serious danger.

Grace took the liberty of standing near the balcony, though she wasn't in anyone's way. She wanted a good view, and she didn't feel like sitting down anyway. She was too antsy, eager to see the misfit fall to Jeremy's strong weapon. She wanted the power, did she? Well, she was about to get a full dose.

Zant heard the crowd get quiet, just as they always did whenever the opponents came out. They knew that Zant would announce who was fighting. He rose from his seat and walked forward, addressing the entire coliseum from his place. "Ladies and gentlemen," he said, his voice booming through the microphone system he had set up a long time ago. "I give you Jeremy, Keyblader of the Darkness, versus the scum of the earth--a warrior of the Light!"

Lightning grunted at the name, looking around at the crowd and hearing them boo her. You don't even know me! she wanted to shout. Instead, she took a few steps into the arena and pulled out her sword, swinging it by her side before she shifted her gaze to her opponent. He was going to try and kill her, huh? Like she was going to let that happen.

Jeremy only grinned at Lightning, twirling his Keyblade repeatedly with one hand as he walked out into the arena. He heard a few people near his entrance tell him to dominate the woman on the other side, and he only continued to smile. Piece of cake, he thought, stopping near the center of the arena. The whole city was watching, and he wasn't about to disappoint.

Lightning stopped near the center as well, her pale blue eyes remaining serious as she held her gunblade by her side. She ignored the large screens around the area, cameras zoomed into get the fight in closer shots. Those would show nicely how Lightning could take down a Keyblader from the Realm of Darkness. She tightened her grip on her sword, hearing a horn from up above. That was the signal for the fight to start.

Jeremy heard the horn and only saluted the soldier. "Have fun!" he called before then zipping away, using a magical ability that made him run at faster speeds than normal. He would sneak up on Lightning when she least expected it and attack, that way this could be short.

Light smirked slightly, "hmphing" as she changed Paradigms. I might do just that. She called upon her magical abilities and cast Haste within a second, feeling more adrenaline rush through her system. You want speed? I can match that just fine. Show your face and I'll prove it to you. She would have fun with this, but Jeremy wouldn't be by the end of this.

Jeremy ran to the opposite side he started on, chucking his weapon at Lightning. He would see how she did against distant attacks first, then move in. He always had a strategy. Besides, if this didn't work, he had the Keyblade; he could easily summon it back.
