Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning was already in the right Paradigm, so she just cast a shield around herself, Jeremy's weapon bouncing off of it. She understood his plan now, and that was to observe her. She would let him do that, but she wasn't going to show him all her moves. She would let him think that she only knew defense, and then when he got close, she'd strike.

Riku watched from above as Jeremy unleashed various distant attacks on the woman he loved, sitting on the edge of his seat as he witnessed her deflect some of the blows. He didn't want her to get hurt, but against someone as skilled as Jeremy, it was bound to happen. They were in the middle of the fight now, and it was easy to see that Jeremy wasn't pleased. That's my girl.

Jeremy blocked one of Lightning's attacks, his sword against hers before he jumped back and cast a strong aero spell against her to stir up some dust. She managed to trick him early on in the fight, and now he was paying the price. He had sweat trickling down his forehead he was fighting so hard. She was fierce, and that was clear enough for everyone else to see, which was humiliating. But he was determined to win. They were evenly matched, so he was going to give his all.

Lightning did a back flip to create some distance between herself and the spell, changing Paradigms in midair as she casted her own Aero spell. The tornado went forward and collided with Jeremy's, making it disappear within a few seconds. She panted a breath, bangs sticking to her forehead because of the sweat. She did notice, though, that the crowd didn't seem set against her anymore. They appreciated her for the entertaining fight. But she didn't care about the audience; she cared about survival. And right now, she had to outsmart Jeremy instead of out fight him. And she believed she had an idea on how to do that. She just needed to study him a little more.

"Let's see how you handle this!" Jeremy hollered, running forward before leaping into the air. He spun repeatedly, a strong circle of power starting to surround his form. He had an idea, one that would help him overcome Lightning. Once the Darkness surrounded him, he dived down into the ground, prepared to rise up underneath Lightning's position and strike her.

Lightning grunted, seeing Jeremy disappear into a dark puddle in the ground. And that Darkness was coming towards her. She grunted and started running away from it, though she sensed it coming for her quickly. She wasn't sure if she could avoid this attack, and this one could have been the final blow! Not good...

Riku held his breath, seeing how quickly the small pool of Darkness was approaching the woman he loved. Lightning...he thought in fear. She wasn't as fast as she was at the beginning of the fight. This could really hurt her!

Jeremy closed in on Lightning's position, his Darkness granting him more speed than she was using now. He lingered under her and then rose instantly from the ground, swinging his Keyblade as he did so, a cry leaving his lips.

"Ah!" Light felt herself get launched, though she didn't linger in the air for too long before she came crashing down. She grunted when she hit the dusty ground, the area around her clouding a little and making her cough. She laid on her side and looked up at Jeremy as she held her weapon, seeing him a few feet away. I have no choice but to try and end this battle now. I can't take anymore hits like that.

Jeremy laughed, twirling his Keyblade once before he started sprinting toward Lightning's position. "Say goodnight!" he called, then leaping into the air and pointing his Keyblade down at the ground, planning to stab her right in the stomach to do the deed. She was about to die.

Lightning shut her eyes, half-preparing for the blow, half using her energy to protect herself. She heard Odin appear right beside her, the knight-like figure reaching for her outstretched hand and yanking her out of the way as Jeremy's Keyblade pierced the ground. But she wasn't done yet. She was going to deal her finishing move while Jeremy's sword was stuck in the ground. I have this.

Jeremy's Keyblade pierced the ground, and because of the force behind the attack, it was pretty deep. He turned his head, his eyes locating the large monster that suddenly appeared. What the...!? He gripped his Keyblade and focused on that, struggling to get his weapon out of the ground.

Lightning snapped her fingers while Odin swung her around, her body glowing blue because of the grav-con device that she just turned on. When she impacted Jeremy, that would only make things a lot more painful than they would have been if she didn't activate it. A battle-cry left her lips as Odin released her, the young woman turning in midair and hitting Jeremy with both legs in a hard kick, sending him flying a few feet away. She was undamaged by the forceful attack, though, doing two back-flips in the air before she landed on the ground and turned off the device. She was fine, but Jeremy surely wasn't.

Jeremy cried out at the painful attack, his chest hurting tremendously before his back did the same. The pain came from him impacting the ground and repeatedly rolling and flipping on the ground, landing on different parts of his body before he finally came to a stop on his stomach. He started coughing, having sucked in dust as blood dripped from his head and nose. Ugh.

Grace put her hands on the edge of the balcony, her brown eyes widening. "Jeremy!" she said hoarsely, her eyes on his immobile form. How could that have happened?! He had never been hurt so badly before!

Lightning panted a breath, Odin vanishing from behind her. She started towards Jeremy at a slow pace, the crowd silent now that they saw their champion fall. You were too eager to deal the final blow, she silently thought to him. You got sloppy. She shifted her sword into a gun and stopped by Jeremy, setting one foot on his back to keep him in place while she pointed her gun at him. "This fight is over."

Jeremy glanced up, seeing the barrel of the gun staring him in the face. He glared at Lightning, his eyes locking onto hers before he lowered his head. Fine. Do it, he thought, shutting his eyes tightly as his hands gripped the dirt. End it.

Light took a step back, her foot coming off Jeremy's back as she kept her eyes on him. "Get out," she said, letting her weapon hang in her hand by her side. She was done with him. If he tried attacking her again, she would kill him. But if he was smart, he would take his opportunity to walk out of here alive. She wasn't going to kill him just because he was ordered to kill her. Zant was her real enemy here.

Jeremy heard the words, and once they registered, his eyes opened. He lifted his head, finding Lightning's eyes with his own. "What?" he said in disbelief. She...was just letting him go? Just like that?

"I don't kill when I don't have to," Lightning said, staring down at Jeremy on the ground. She kept her grip on her sword, though, unaware that Zant was now standing at the edge of his balcony watching this. Jeremy wasn't worth killing now, but if he ever got in her way again, she would end it. Without hesitation.

Jeremy's disbelief turned into anger at the words, the boy pushing himself up to his hands and knees as he glared at Lightning. "You and your stupid honor!" he hollered in fury. "What's the matter with you? Why won't you finish it!?" Didn't she get it? It was a fight to the death! That was the way it had always been; a soldier from the Light wasn't about to change that!

"I'm not playing Zant's game, not when it comes to ending another person's life," Lightning said, eyes narrowed in seriousness as she looked at Jeremy. "Do you want your life or not?" He had to walk out of here, if the answer was yes, he did want his life. He was a Keyblader in the Realm of Darkness, but she saw him as a human being more than that. Somebody who didn't deserve to die fighting for another person's cause.

"It doesn't matter whether I want it or not," Jeremy snapped, his eyebrows furrowed over his dark eyes. "In this coliseum, it's a fight to the death. The loser dies, and I lost." He glared up at her with fury, not at all happy about being humiliated in front of all of these people. "So stop being a coward and finish the job."

"I'm a coward for breaking the rules?" Light asked with some amusement, putting a hand on her hip as she looked down at her opponent. "Nah, that's not it. Truth is, I just hate following orders. I'm nobody's slave, not even Zant's. You people...I dare you to keep trying to tell me and my friends what to do. You'll see we don't submit so easily." And that was that.

Jeremy started laughing, lowering his head as he closed his eyes. "You don't submit, my ass," he said once his laughter died down, looking up at Lightning with a dark smile. "What do you think you're doing here?" They submitted a long time ago, and there was nothing they could do to change that.

"Proving a point to your leader, who looks like he wants to have a talk with you," Lightning said, looking up at the balcony and seeing Zant glaring down. "Warriors of the Light are different than he makes them out to be, and his mockery of the Light will be the death of him. Tell him that when you go to him." She looked down at him, again telling him to get going. She was done with him.

Jeremy's smile disappeared, and he pushed himself up from the ground. Dirt covered his shirt and pants, but that was the least of his concerns. He wiped at the blood leaving his nose, getting rid of the trail. He nearly nodded and spoke to Lightning, but he stopped himself. Instead, he pushed past her, starting towards his gate. He wasn't sure what to make of the crowd's reaction, some of them booing, some cheering, and some just staying silent. He wouldn't admit it to himself or to others, but he really didn't want to die. It was quite a confusing moment.

"...Sir?" Grace said, sensing her Master near her as she watched Jeremy get up and walk away. What happened down there? This was definitely out of the ordinary, and she could tell her boss wasn't pleased. So what did they do?

Zant shook his head, smirking a little and looking to the warriors from the Light who stayed sitting in their chairs. "It seems as if I've underestimated your warrior, doesn't it?" he asked, looking over all of them. But he did have a plan to correct his error, and he would fulfill that in just a minute. Lightning wasn't allowed to leave the arena anyway, so he could take his time.
