Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku tore his eyes away from his beloved, instead locating the brains of the operation. He glared at him, still sitting on the edge of his seat from the fight. Yes. You have, he wanted to say. But he knew that if he spoke, it wouldn't be pleasant. He never wanted to watch something like this again.

"Too bad she's going to die anyway," Zant said, turning around and facing the direction of the arena again. He saw Lightning walk away from one of the gates so she could have a better view at him, the soldier glaring up at him. He returned her stare, but he also focused on a magic spell that was completely impossible to dodge. The sky started turning cloudy, the spell charging. You're going to perish.

Kairi blinked, her lips parting as she looked to Sora and then to Riku, both boys on either side of her. Riku... He was devastated, and infuriated. But...Lightning... The girl looked ahead of her, seeing the sky begin to change even in her hazy state. This wasn't good.

Lightning looked up to the sky when she heard a rumble of thunder, her lips parting when she saw the black clouds. But then, something else suddenly came down. A very large, bright red lightning bolt. Her eyes widened and she cried out when she was struck, electricity and a burning sensation flowing through her body. She felt intense pain like this before, when she was being turned into a l'Cie. She had thought she was going to die, but she hadn't. This time...she might have. She was already really wounded, and the lightning that didn't fade and still struck her was making it a million times worse.
"Claire!" Riku cried, the boy rising from his seat immediately and putting his hands on the balcony. He saw the bolt of lightning, and how it wasn't ceasing. No...No! This isn't happening! His knuckles turned white from gripping the railing so hard, the boy's eyes stuck on the woman he loved as she got hurt, her scream echoing up to his level. Lightning!

Claire thought she heard her name echo throughout the area, the bolt of lightning flickering away after a few seconds and the clouds disappearing. She swayed on her feet for a second before she fell down on her face, unable to even try to catch herself. Her weapon laid in the ground by her hand as the camera zoomed up on her, the screens showing her body twitch a little as a spark of red current was seen on the outside. I...I feel dead. But I'm not, am I?
The arena was completely silent, but Riku stared in shock and devastation. "Claire!" he hollered again, leaning over more on the balcony as he looked from one of the large screens to her. Answer me! Move! ...Something, please! She...couldn't be gone. Not now, not after she fought so hard.

She's a stubborn one, Zant thought, eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the screen and noticed she showed no signs of fading away. "Grace, go down and end it," he said, turning his head to look at her. She wouldn't dare go against him, and besides, Lightning was suffering. Really, they were doing her a mercy and putting her out of her misery. That was how some could view it, if they so chose.

Riku's head turned sharply to the side, his furious aqua eyes landing on Zant and Grace. "No!" he hollered, starting to move toward the Master. They weren't going to touch her!

Grace already agreed to the deed, starting toward the door at the protests. She would let Timothy and Adam handle this, the girl exiting the room through the large door and descending the stairs. She passed Jeremy on the way down, nodding to him as he walked past. She was to kill the soldier and return. That was all.

Zant didn't bother flinching, ignoring Riku as Timothy and Adam came and easily grabbed his arms, restraining him. He was in love with the warrior that was about to be killed; he could see that clearly now. This is why you don't yoke yourselves to regular warriors, he thought, shifting his gaze to the screen again and seeing Lightning twitch faintly because of lingering electricity. The crowd was still silent, their eyes locked on her. They're waiting for the final blow.

Kairi covered her mouth with one of her hands, closing her eyes as she tried to ignore Riku's struggles and protests, as well as the fact that Grace was on her way down. Lightning... She couldn't believe this was really happening. She worked so hard, but it was all for nothing.

Grace entered through the gate that Jeremy originally appeared, the teen approaching her target in the center of the arena. She didn't glance at the audience, instead summoning her Keyblade to her grasp as she grew closer to the soldier's position. She stopped near her, witnessing her twitch again. Grace closed her eyes as she took in a breath, lifting her Keyblade with the point toward Lightning's back, both hands on the hilt. This is the end.

Namine lifted her hands to cover her eyes, knowing that Lightning was done for now. Grace wouldn't allow her to live, especially not since her master specifically ordered that she end it. Light...please... They needed a miracle if she was going to make it out of this alive.

Lightning grunted when she heard somebody come over to her, conscious enough to sense a threat. But all she could do was lift her head a little and look up, seeing Grace prepared to deal that blow that Jeremy hadn't been able to do. She stared at her for a second before her head dropped again, eyes shutting as her eyebrows furrowed over them. She prepared herself for the final blow, but what she got instead shocked her. The crowd was suddenly booing Grace!

Grace had opened her eyes to see her target, but upon hearing the crowd's reaction, she looked around her. She continued to hold her blade in position, but her eyes were wide in surprise. What? They're booing me? She turned her head to look up at Zant in his place high above. What did she do?

Zant felt his expression twist in disgust. "Great," he mumbled. "Now we're the bad guys." That stupid warrior had compassion on Jeremy, and now the crowd was having compassion on her. He wasn't about to let her live, but he couldn't openly defy the crowd and have Grace kill her anyway. He waved Mandy over to him, giving her soft-spoken orders. She nodded faintly to him before she went down to assist Grace, going quickly so the crowd couldn't keep booing like this. It was unbelievable how easily they swayed for this warrior of the Light. He lifted a hand to Grace, motioning for her to put her weapon away. She wouldn't be needing it right now.

Grace nodded to her Master, dismissing her Keyblade as she looked back down at the soldier. This was...ridiculous! How could the crowd be rooting for her? She was their enemy, didn't they see that? The Light was never welcome with the Darkness!

Mandy ran through the gates over to Grace and the soldier, who may or may not have been conscious. "Grace," she said lowly, her voice soft for a reason. "Zant wants us to assist her out of the arena and to the cells. We'll need to kill her out of the public's eye." As she spoke the last sentence, she bent down, lifting one of Lightning's arms to go around her shoulders. She saw her weapon on the ground too, and she motioned for Grace to pick it up. No use leaving it out here.

Grace didn't question the order, instead doing as she was advised. She picked up the odd weapon, holding it in one hand as she assisted with getting the soldier up to her feet. She then started walking with Mandy to take Lightning out of the arena. She felt humiliated because the crowd disagreed with their choice, but there wasn't anything she could do about it. Zant would handle this.

Light grunted softly, aware enough to feel herself being dragged off the field. She kept her head down and didn't fight against the two girls, since that wasn't an option in her condition. She heard a cry from the speakers, Zant saying that he would let her live. The crowd started cheering for the soldier, not hearing the message that Zant muttered to those in his balcony. "I'll let her live for now." He already had a plan on how to kill her off.
Riku had been forced to sit down by Timothy and Adam, and he ground his teeth together at Zant's words. Light...he thought desperately. Zant was going to kill her, but away from the crowd so he didn't make himself look bad? Some ruler.

Zant turned around to face the rest of the room, seeing the infuriated expressions of his enemies. He ignored them, shifting his gaze to the young man who walked in after Grace left. "Jeremy," he said, dark brown eyes locked on him. "Go down to the cells and finish what you started in the arena. When the crowd asks later, we'll tell them she tried to escape and we had to use lethal force to stop her." The crowd would view him favorably again; he was sure of it.

"Yes, sir," Jeremy replied quietly, nodding to Zant before he turned around and left the room. He was humiliated because of what that soldier did, and she would pay for making him feel that way. Now he got to finish her, for good.

Zant watched Jeremy walk away, disappointment in his gaze. He failed in the arena today, and he was humiliated by Lightning besting him and letting him live. Hopefully that embarrassment would change to anger, and he would kill the soldier. The last thing that Zant needed was for Jeremy's compassionate side to appear, like the crowd's did.

Roxas stared down at the ground with infuriated eyes, his eyebrows furrowed deeply. He couldn't believe this. Zant wasn't an honest ruler at all; he was lying to his people, who were actually on their side when it came to Lightning. And now he was going to defy them and kill her in secret? Unbelievable.

"Ah well, the show must go on," Zant said with a sigh, shifting his gaze to the Keybladers. "So, who wants to be next?" He asked the question just in case anybody said they would fight, but even if they said that, he wouldn't give into their desires. He already had two people in mind, so he would choose from them. The Nobodies were the ones that would be exterminated next, but in what order, he didn't know. He had to come up with something quickly, before the crowd started talking about Lightning.

Kairi froze, her eyes locking onto the floor. No... He was going to send another one of her friends down to the arena? No. Please don't...she begged. He couldn't do this to them; he couldn't tear them apart like this.
