Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"We're doing what we see as right," Mandy said without flinching, calm as always. "Helping you is just something that happens along with that." So if Roxas wanted to believe that they were helping them, then yes, they were. But they were doing it because as Keyblade wielders, they had a firm sense of justice. Or, at least...that was what they liked to believe. Earlier it had seemed just to send Lightning and Namine into the arena, but they were wrong. Maybe they weren't such good Keyblade wielders after all.

Roxas's Keyblade disappeared, the boy gripping the bars of his cell. "Then let me out," he said, urgency in his voice. "Let me see Namine!" He had to make sure she was alright. He saw compassion in Mandy, and he hoped she wasn't lying. If she was...he wasn't sure what he'd do. She was getting his hopes up, and if they came crashing down, he would fall apart.

"One condition," Mandy said without moving, though she did plan on letting Roxas out of his cell. "Actually, a few conditions. One: You won't try to help your other friends. Two: You won't step away from me. Three: You try escaping in any way and I'll strike you down. Understand?" They couldn't have Roxas escaping, especially not since he was supposed to be killed tonight. She and her friends could keep him hidden, but only if he cooperated. But that didn't mean everything would be alright, since she couldn't guarantee the safety of his other friends.

Roxas looked away at that, knowing that he either neglected his Somebody and his fiance, and Riku...or he went to Namine. But, Namine's alone, and hurt. Sora and Riku are strong enough to handle themselves and Kairi... His blue eyes fell on Mandy, his decision made. "Deal."

Mandy nodded, summoning her deep purple Keyblade into her grasp. She lifted it and pointed it straight ahead, not at Roxas, but at the lock on the cell. A dark purple beam shot out and unlocked the cell, a clicking noise echoing throughout the area. You better not try anything stupid, Nobody. The others may be willing to let you guys live, but I'm not so sure it's a good idea.

Roxas's eyes remained hard with determination, though he was happy to see the cell become unlocked. He opened it on his own, though he made sure to stay near Mandy. "Thank you," he said with a nod, his eyes on hers. He appreciated this.

"Don't thank me yet," Mandy said, keeping her Keyblade in her grasp and starting forward. "We may very well change our minds about this. You know this is treason against Zant, keeping you all alive." This was serious business, and they really had to tread carefully here. There was still a chance that they would kill the soldier and the Nobodies. At least they had a few days to think about it, since the coliseum wasn't open for a few days now.

Roxas walked only a foot behind Mandy, keeping close like he promised. "I'll still keep my end of the bargain," he said, his eyes on the back of her head. If she didn't keep hers he would be disappointed, but he was going to be truthful. He needed to see Namine.

"And I'll still keep mine," Mandy said with a small nod, pushing a door open and walking into another section of the dungeon. "For now." Roxas was going to see Namine and Lightning, but there were no guarentees on what would happen after that. The only thing she figured for sure was that none of them were going to die tonight; they all needed to decide what was just in this situation, and what was best for them, too. The people in this realm looked up to them, so it was important they didn't screw up.

Roxas nodded a little, grunting as well since Mandy couldn't see. He followed her wordlessly from then on out, knowing he couldn't ask anything more of her or her friends. They were doing enough by just letting him see Namine and taking care of her and Lightning. Maybe they're not as bad as I thought.

Namine bit down on her lip when she put her shirt back on, having taken it off so Grace could bandage her back. It made the wounds feel a little better, but the pain still wouldn't go away. But...that was okay. Whatever wounds she had were nothing compared to Lightning's. She shifted her gaze over to the cot automatically, seeing she was unconscious. She kept falling in and out of consciousness since Namine saw her, but according to the Keybladers, she would be alright. Both of them would be.

Grace left Namine's side and approached a table against the wall, the first aid kit sitting on top of it. She started putting everything back into place, glancing at her friends as she did so. "Any idea when Mandy will be back?" she asked. "We don't have much time left before Zant expects us." He would get impatient if they took too long, and then they would pay a painful price. It had happened before.

"I'm back now," Mandy responded, having just opened the door to that nicer section of the dungeon and heard Grace's words. She summoned her Keyblade away and walked into the sight of her friends and the two others, though one of them was unconscious again. "Sorry." Roxas had been making a ruckus for a while and it took longer to get through to him than she thought it would. She was at fault.

Roxas followed Mandy in, a question about "the other Nobody" from Grace being cut off at the sight of him. His eyes darted around the room, seeing a cot that Lightning was resting on, and the other Dark Keyblade warriors lingering around the room. But then he spotted the girl he loved sitting in a chair. "Namine!" he called, his feet carrying him toward her instantly. She's okay... She's alive!

Namine felt her eyes widen at the call, though she had expected Roxas to come in with Mandy. "Roxas!" she said, relief present in her voice as she stood up from the chair and went to meet him halfway. Tears of relief appeared in her eyes, but the pain also made them appear. The wounds in her back wouldn't heal easily, but she was alive. That was all she could ask for.
Roxas crossed the room and met Namine in the middle, his arms wrapping around her tightly, though he luckily avoided her wound. One hand came up to cup the back of her head, the boy ignoring the fact that they had an audience. "Thank goodness," he breathed, holding her to him securely. He never wanted to let her go. He thought he lost her for good.

Namine shut her eyes and turned her head on Roxas's shoulder, her eyes hidden from the others in the room. She also had her arms wrapped around Roxas, the girl too relieved to see him to think about the fright she had experienced earlier in the arena. She didn't know if he was going to stay with her and Lightning tonight in this cell, but even if he didn't, that was okay. She saw that he was okay.
Roxas turned his head and kissed Namine's head of blonde hair, closing his eyes with the action before he nuzzled his face against her hair. He was so grateful to these Keyblade wielders for saving her, because life without her was pointless. He opened his eyes and saw the others in the room, the boy nodding to them. "Thank you," he said, the gratitude coming through in his voice. They saved her, and that was more than he could have asked for.

Timothy nodded, seeing how genuine Roxas was with that thanks. It was interesting to him, how these people were so different from what he had expected. He was taught to believe people from the Light were selfish and stubborn in believing Light was the only way, but if Nobodies like them existed in the Realm of Light, things must have been different than what he heard. "The three of you will stay in this cell tonight," he said, pushing himself off the wall. "Don't do anything stupid and get discovered, because then it doesn't matter what we want. You'll die, period." And we have to get to Zant before he comes down and kills us for keeping you alive.

Roxas kept one hand against the back of Namine's head as he nodded. "Right," he said, once again appreciating their sincerity. They were letting him stay with Namine tonight, and he was happy about that.

Jeremy uncrossed his arms, his eyes on the two Nobodies that were embracing each other. "If we can, one of us will come down to check on you," he said with a small nod. "Stay quiet." He saw Roxas nod once more and he decided that was it. He turned his attention to his friends. "C'mon, guys." Jeremy had to admit that he wanted to stick around, finding it interesting how the Nobodies were so...emotional. Every other Nobody he'd encountered just faked emotions; these two really had them. Of course, that was what Namine had told him in the first place, and that was why they let Roxas come see her. They were different...which didn't sit well with Jeremy for one reason: Zant had been lying to them. About everything.

Namine brought her head out of Roxas's shoulder, nodding her thanks to the group as they walked away. Adam did lock the cell after he left, but that was okay. Right now, this was where they were safest, hidden from Zant. She didn't know what was going to happen, but these Keybladers were actually very kind, so she wasn't as scared as she had been earlier. She appreciated their help, even if it was at the risk of them being severely punished. She thought they were heartless at first, but they proved her wrong.
Roxas watched the last of the Keybladers walk out of his sight, and he instead looked down at the girl he loved. "Namine," he said softly, just happy to have her in his arms. She was really okay... It was still a relief to know that. She was alive.

Namine felt herself tear up at how Roxas said her name, the girl grasping some of his shirt and shutting her eyes again. "I'm so glad to see you," she managed softly, her voice sounding a little too loud because of the silence that surrounded them. But if she spoke any more quietly, she would have been whispering.
Roxas placed his hand where it was before, his fingers twining into Namine's hair as his hand rested on the back of her head. "I know. Me too," he said softly, bringing her a little closer; it was nearly impossible, given how close they already were. "...You have no idea." He had been so scared for her, and scared that he lost her. He never wanted to go through that again.

"I think I may have a small idea," Namine said weakly in disagreement. She was told that they had orders to kill her, even after saving her. And they told her about killing Roxas too, before they told her that they didn't plan on going through with either thing. For those few moments, though, she had wanted to see Roxas more desperately than she ever had before. She thought she would never see him again.
