Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas lowered his head, the side of his face resting against Namine's hair. "Right," he said, finding truth in her words. She was probably more afraid than he was. After all, she was the one who went through so much misery. Roxas closed his eyes at that, hating the thought...and that it was fact. Namine nearly died.

Namine felt Roxas lean his head against hers, her eyes shutting for a moment before she opened them again. "...Can we, sit down, or something?" she requested softly. She didn't want to be out of Roxas's arms, it was just that her back was hurting her, and standing wasn't really helping her. She was told sleeping would be best for her recovery, but since she heard Roxas was coming, she didn't try sleeping.
"Yeah, of course," Roxas said, gently pulling back and lowering his hands to Namine's shoulders. He could imagine why she would want to rest. He was actually a little surprised she hadn't already.

Namine pulled back a little as well, though she did move her head closer to his. She gave him a quick kiss on the lips before she returned to her previous position, her moist eyes finding his. She loved him...she just had to show that to him before she did anything else.
Roxas wasn't expecting the kiss, but he accepted it all the same. He moved one of his hands to Namine's cheek, running his fingers over her smooth skin for a moment before he let his hand drop. She wanted to sit down, so he would let her. She needed to recover.

Namine felt her moisture increase at Roxas's gesture, though she tried not to let any tears fall from her eyes. She glanced away, though, and she took a few steps back to sit on the furniture she was on before. The back was soft, so she could lean against it with only a small amount of pain. She was really fortunate that the Keybladers here were so thoughtful.
Roxas saw Namine take a seat in the chair, and he grabbed another one on the other side of the room. He pulled it over to sit near hers, but so he could see both her and Lightning clearly if he sat forward. He sat down, though he leaned forward and took one of Namine's small hands and held it with both of his. He wasn't about to let her go, not in any way. He came too close to losing her.

Namine looked down when Roxas grasped one of her hands, a tear dropping from her eye just because she was so relieved to have him with her. "...We won't get separated again, right?" she whispered, lifting her gaze to Roxas again. She knew that if she was forced into another bad situation, she wouldn't get lucky this time and survive. She got lucky a lot, living when she logically should have died. One of these times, her luck would run out.
Roxas stared down at their hands, hesitating a moment before answering. "I...honestly don't know," he answered softly, sad that he couldn't give her a better answer. "I mean, I hope not, but I can't make any promises, Namine." He lifted his eyes to her, squeezing her hand as he held it in both of his. "...I'm sorry."

Namine looked down at Roxas's hand holding hers, the blonde nodding faintly in recognition. That definitely wasn't what she wanted to hear, but Roxas was right. He didn't want to get separated from her the first time, but it still happened. And it could very easily happen again. She just had to accept that and be as strong as she could. Though she wasn't strong enough to hold back the tear that dropped from her eye.
Roxas saw that tear, and he exhaled a breath before lifting Namine's hand to his lips. He kissed it gently before setting her knuckles against his forehead, the boy holding her hand there as he shut his eyes. "I didn't want him to take you," he said weakly, shaking his head a little. "I tried to get in the way. I tried to make him take me instead...but he wouldn't." Zant just wouldn't, and it was devastating.

"I know," Namine whispered. She remembered how hard Roxas had tried to help her, but he was restrained by some of the Keybladers. She was sure that they would take that back now, since they saw that sending her into the arena was a mistake. There was no way to take back what happened.
"I'm so sorry," Roxas said, feeling emotions rise from his heart and to the surface. "I should've tried harder... I shouldn't have let him get his way. It should have been me down there, not you. You haven't done anything that you need to pay the price for..." If anyone needs to, it should be me. I've put Namine through too much to not pay for something. She's innocent, I'm guilty.
  • Author
"But neither have you," Namine whispered, lifting her gaze to Roxas when she heard him get emotional. She didn't have anything to pay for, but neither did he. She was scared, though, that if they were found, he would be forced to face that beast. She didn't want to lose him, or be separated again...
Roxas shook his head, lowering Namine's hand as he opened his eyes and looked at her. "I'm at fault for a lot of things I've done in the past," he said, squeezing her hand. "Especially with how much danger I've put you in and how much I've neglected to protect you. I would rather you not be involved in my payment, but fate obviously has other plans." He looked away, glaring at a part of the floor to the side. He didn't like Namine being brought into everything; he was never okay with it, but clearly nobody cared. Something always happened.

Namine shook her head a little, lowering her head and looking at the hand still in her lap. "Roxas..." she said softly. "You can't...blame yourself for all this. I don't feel like I was paying for anything, just...suffering from Zant's cruelty. It doesn't have to come back to what you think you can or can't do." He couldn't blame himself every time she got hurt; it was unrealistic to expect him to protect her all the time.
Roxas didn't say anything, lowering his eyes to the hand he held in his. He rubbed his thumb over Namine's skin, not saying anything. Maybe she was right, but he would be stubborn and voluntarily think he was at fault. It was the easier out of the two. He didn't want to believe Fate was cruel enough to punish Namine just because.
  • Author
"I love you," Namine stated softly, lightly squeezing the hand that she held. "That's why I'll never blame you for anything that isn't your fault." Really, she didn't see this as being his fault at all. She would rather blame it all on Zant. She wouldn't even pin it on the Keybladers anymore, especially since she was saved by them.
Roxas lifted his blue eyes to the ones he loved, nodding a little. "I love you too," he replied quietly. He doubted there would ever come a time when he didn't love Namine, which was why he was planning on giving her a similar fate as the one Kairi was going to have with Sora. He just had to wait for the right time, and hopefully that time would come. They had to survive this first.

Namine looked at Roxas's eyes, smiling weakly at him while her eyes were still moist. She blinked and shed a tear, though it wasn't because of anything that happened; it was because of a noise she heard. She looked over to the side and saw Lightning looked like she was waking up...and she was in pain. Of course she was--she went through an intense battle and then got struck by lightning.
Roxas saw the tear, and he squeezed Namine's hand at the sight. He then followed her gaze, seeing that Lightning was waking up. He lifted Namine's hand to his lips again, kissing it briefly before he released it and pushed himself up, starting toward Lightning's cot. Was she alright?

Light lifted an arm and covered her eyes, eyebrows furrowed in pain. She was starting to come to again, and all the injuries were coming back despite how the Keybladers tried curing her. Zant's spell was too strong to wear off with simple cure spells; it would take a lot of rest instead. And that ticked her off.
"Hey. Lightning?" Roxas called, slowly approaching her bed. He didn't want her mistaking him for someone else and lashing out, but given on how long she must have been unconscious, she probably didn't have enough strength to do that. "...You okay?"
  • Author
"I'm alive, aren't I?" Light asked quietly, her voice tense because of the circumstances. She was in pain, obviously, but she wasn't going to just succumb to it and go down without a fight. If she was going to give up and die, she would have done it already, in the arena.
"Oh, uh, yeah," Roxas answered, lifting a hand to rub over the back of his head at her tone. He should have expected Lightning to respond like that, but he forgot all about his expectations. After all, nothing went according to plan anymore.
