Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning moved her arm away from her eyes, turning her head a little on her pillow and seeing Roxas's hazy form clear in a second or two. "Jeremy said he told you guys I was dead," she said softly, boldly bringing up a topic that had been haunting her for a while. Roxas knew she was alive now, but the others couldn't know right now. If they slipped up and revealed that information to Zant, they were as good as dead. But that meant that Riku thought she was gone...
Roxas nodded at that, his eyes on Lightning's. "Yeah," he said softly. "But...Riku's a mess, Lightning. He really thinks you're dead." He was freaking out, he was sure. Back with Zant, that had been the first time Roxas saw Riku cry, or get really emotional at all. It was weird, and sad.

Claire nodded faintly, eyes softening as she looked up to the ceiling. That was what she expected to hear, but...she hoped Jeremy dropped some kind of hint to let Riku know she was alive. Maybe if she spoke to him sometime, she could get him to do that. But then again, that would be really risky if Zant caught wind of it. They couldn't risk him finding out his Keybladers kept them safe against his orders.
Roxas scratched his cheek after a moment, his eyes glancing away at the silence. He figured Lightning was in thought, but... "Um, you need anything?" he asked, referring to a spell. Other than that, there was nothing he could really provide. They were locked up, after all.

Light looked over to Roxas, and though she figured he was referring to a spell, she answered differently. "I need Riku, but obviously that's not going to happen right now," she said, glancing over at Roxas before she looked back up to the ceiling. She was being bold, as always, but her voice was softer and held some pain, which was unusual for her.
Roxas blinked at that answer, glancing over his shoulder back at Namine because it was so unexpected. Riku? I can't get to him...not for a while. He promised he wouldn't talk to his friends that were still locked up, so there was nothing he could do. He turned back to Lightning, his eyes soft with sadness. "...Sorry," he said, his gaze dropping to the floor and to the side.

Light nodded faintly without looking over, not sure what she expected Roxas to say. She already said it all, in her own eyes. Riku thought she was dead, so she needed to see him and change that, but she couldn't. So, for now..."A cure spell would be the next best thing," she said softly, looking over at Roxas. "Their spells either aren't as powerful as ours or this realm affects the strength of healing magic in general." Those were the only two options she could come up with in her head.
Roxas looked back to Lightning and nodded. "I'll give it a shot," he said, summoning one of his Keyblades to his hand. He held it with both hands out in front of him, calling to a Cure spell. A large herb magically appeared over Lightning's form, the spell washing over her form as it glowed green. He hoped it helped, but there was always the chance it wouldn't happen.

Light shut her eyes briefly when the spell washed over her, making the pain dim. "Thanks," she said softly to Roxas, opening her eyes again and looking over to him. She felt a little better now, and the spell proved that both her theories were correct: the Keybladers had weaker magic, but cure spells in general were weaker here. That would be good to know for the future.
"Yup." Roxas nodded before summoning Oblivion away, his hand naturally curling into a loose fist. He wasn't sure what else he could do to help, since they were locked up. This would have to suffice.

Lightning looked past Roxas, seeing the girl who nodded off in her chair. "Looks like Namine fell asleep," she commented softly. It made sense to her, since the blonde lost some blood earlier. At least, that was what she heard from the Keybladers. It wasn't a subject that Namine wanted to talk about, so Light didn't ask her. Regardless, it was good she was getting the rest she needed. Now it was time for her, Roxas, and her friends in their other cells, to do the same.
Roxas turned around a little, his eyes falling on the girl he loved. "Mm," he hummed, nodding. He would take that as his cue; Lightning could sleep, and he'd sleep beside Namine tonight. Of course, she would take the other cot; he would sleep on the floor.

"Better get your rest," Light said, her stoic nature coming through as she turned her head so she looked straight up at the ceiling. She shut her eyes, setting her arm on her stomach. "I'm sure this fight is far from over." They weren't going to play dead forever.
Roxas started over toward Namine at the words, the boy gently putting his arms under her and moving her to the cot before he took a seat on the floor beside her. He leaned his head against the wall and released a soft breath, closing his eyes. Lightning was right; he needed to rest and prepare for tomorrow.

Namine faintly realized that Roxas moved her to a cot, though she was thankful he laid her on her side so that she wasn't on her wounds. She fell right back asleep as the silence settled in, the blonde having the same thoughts as Lightning as the soldier also drifted off into sleep again. This battle is far from over.

A few days later

Riku stood on one side of Kairi, Sora on the other as they showed themselves in front of Zant once more. The last few days had been spent down in the dungeon, where he, Sora, and Kairi got three meals a day and no freedom. He didn't really care, nor did he eat much. He felt sick to his stomach every day, mostly because he knew that Lightning was gone. How could he eat when she was dead?

Kairi stood with her eyes on the floor, the girl feeling weak from being in Darkness so long. What was the purpose of keeping them in the cells? One of the Dark Keybladers told them once, but she didn't want to remember. It was too awful to recall. But that wasn't all; she hadn't seen Roxas or Namine the last few days, and her eyes were puffy and red from all the crying she'd done. The lack of communication or news was enough to convince her they were both gone. I hope they didn't suffer...

Grace stood next to Timothy and Jeremy, her arms crossed as she looked at the Keybladers, Zant a few feet ahead of them as he stared at the Keybladers. Some of her red curls fell over one of her shoulders, but her brown eyes were resting on their "enemies", or so they were to believe. She was starting to doubt Zant's beliefs, but she would act like she was still completely loyal. For now.

Mandy stood beside Jeremy, arms folded over her chest as she looked at the three remaining members of the trio. Or, at least the three Zant knew about. She and her friends agreed that Zant purposely misled them about those from the Realm of Light, and he was using them for his own selfish purposes. Today was the day they were staging their coup to overthrow him, and they would truly fulfill their duty as Keyblade wielders today. They were meant to decide what was just, not serve a man who had his own twisted sense of justice.

Zant looked over the three in front of him, having taken the last few days to decide what would come next. "I'm going to need a good fight to the death to make up for what happened a few days ago," he declared, referring to Lightning letting Jeremy walk away from the fight after he lost. "So, I want a two on two fight. Any volunteers?" He shifted his gaze to his Keybladers, speaking to them. Who wanted to go against Sora and Riku?

Jeremy glanced at his friends, all of them already having discussed this. They knew Zant's plans over the last day or so, and they agreed on who would go out to the arena and who would go in for the kill. He was one who would go after Zant, since he was his "finest warrior". The betrayal would be uglier that way, and Jeremy actually wanted him to suffer. He was ready for justice, the true justice.

Grace uncrossed her arms, her eyes finding Zant's. "I will, sir," she said with a nod. She would battle Sora, while one of the others would take Riku. It'd be easiest that way, so they could explain their true intentions during battle. Hopefully the Keyblade warriors of Light would listen.

"So will I, Master Zant," Mandy said, being careful not to have a bite in her tone against the man who tricked her for so long. She wished she could fight him, but she was good at fighting alongside Grace. Of course, she hoped the fight against Riku and Sora wouldn't last long; it was just a diversion so her friends could try to take down Zant. It would be a distraction for him, and for the audience. They probably wouldn't know what to do if they saw the Keybladers betray their leader.

"Good," Zant said with a nod, pleased with that response. Grace and Mandy were fine warriors, especially when they fought alongside each other. He motioned for them to go ahead and escort Riku and Sora down to the arena, while the other three boys could stay with him and the Princess. It would certainly be a good fight to see, and once it was over, he would decide what to do with the Princess.

Kairi saw Grace approaching Sora, and Mandy was going to do the same with Riku. She didn't move, having already said what she needed to over the past few days. She knew their time was coming, and hers would be arriving soon as well. There was nothing they could do; they were powerless in the Realm of Darkness. She had no powers, so she was helpless as usual. Kairi only stared at the floor, a blank look on her face. She felt empty inside, knowing everything she knew and everyone she loved was slipping away from her because of Zant.

"Kairi, I'll be back for you," Sora whispered softly, making a promise that he intended to keep. He noticed Mandy lead Riku away, his older friend not fighting. He hadn't fought anything since Lightning died, and he could understand why, since he would be the same if he lost Kairi. He heard Zant stifle a laugh at his promise, but then the brunet was led down to the arena, leaving his beloved behind.
Kairi heard Sora's promise, and she took it to heart. I'll be waiting, she silently thought to her fiance. But at this rate, would that promise be kept? Kairi's puffy and red eyes lifted to Zant, then moving to the three boys that lingered in the room. How could you do this? How can you be so cruel?

Timothy was silent, glancing at Kairi when he felt her gaze on him before he shifted his gaze to Zant. Zant motioned for all of them to take their normal seats, so he started forward along with Adam, sitting down comfortably. Their silence could just be seen as anticipation for the fight, since it would surely be intense. Buy us as much time as you can, guys. We need a good show to keep the crowd entertained and out of our hair while we take out Zant.

Kairi didn't move when Jeremy approached her, not having the energy to fight back too harshly. But when he reached a hand out toward her to put on her arm, she quickly whacked it away. She saw the surprise on Jeremy's face, but then she walked forward, sitting down silently in the seat next to Zant that was left for her. Good luck, Sora...Riku.

Sora walked out into the arena next to Riku, the girls trailing behind them. "Are you even going to try to fight?" he asked his friend softly, looking up at him. He hoped so, because Sora was obviously going to fight for Kairi. He suspected Riku might fight for the Kairi, since she was like a sister, but there was no telling how much fight he had left in him after Lightning was snatched away.
