Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku glanced at Sora as the crowd cheered, obviously noticing their entrance. "It won't be a very good fight on my part," he replied lowly, all emotion in his voice gone by this point. It wasn't like he had much energy, since he was sleep-deprived and hadn't eaten much the last few days. Lightning was gone, and although he loved Kairi like his own blood, he knew she would be better off without him if he didn't make it out of this alive; he would just bring her down with his own depression. Riku looked forward, seeing the middle of the arena just a few yards ahead. "Just focus on getting back to Kairi. I'll handle myself." Sora wouldn't be jumping in for him if he got hurt; that wasn't the way this was going to work. He was going to fight until he won and get back to Kairi. She was his life now.

Grace walked beside Mandy, and though she saw the two Keyblade warriors talking ahead of her, she couldn't hear them. She turned to her best friend in the group, nodding to her. "Put on a good show," she told her softly. They needed to make this believable, but she had a feeling Mandy would have a tougher time. Riku didn't look like he would defend himself as well; he looked like he was about to give up.

Sora only nodded faintly, understanding. But if he had the chance, he would defend Riku in battle. Riku was his best friend after all, and he wasn't willing to let him give up and die. "We're going to make it out of this alive, Riku," he said softly, be optimistic as always. "There's still a reason to fight." Two reasons, actually. They would fight for each other, to protect each other like the brothers they were. And the other reason was for Kairi.

Mandy nodded, stopping when the two boys in front of her stopped in the center. She summoned her dark purple blade, hearing Zant make his announcement about the Keybladers from the Realm of Darkness facing those from the Light, and this fight would prove that their realm is stronger. And then, the horn went off. That was their signal.

Grace summoned her yellow and green Keyblade to her hand, instantly running forward and leaping into the air. "You're mine!" she cried, swinging her weapon down with as much strength as she could, planning to strike Sora over the head. She had to put on a charade alongside Mandy and make this work, that way Jeremy and the others could succeed in their part.

Mandy noticed Sora summon his Keyblade and dodge the blow, humoring Grace in battle. That would be a good fight, but Mandy would have to coax Riku into battling her seriously. "Get ready!" she cried, running forward and swinging her blade at him vertically. She hoped he humored her and fought back, or else this plan wasn't going to work.

Riku turned at the cry, and upon seeing Mandy coming at him, he held a hand out. His shield appeared immediately, her blade bouncing off of it easily. He summoned his Keyblade to his other hand, his face emotionless and blank. Whatever, he thought. Let's get this over with.

Zant watched the fights from his balcony, especially interested in Sora's fight against Grace. He was still fighting passionately, and he realized that he was trying to finish the fight to come back to the Princess. He witnessed the brunet get hit by one of Grace's attacks, the sight making him smirk a little. "Princess of the Realm of Light," he said to the girl beside him, his gaze forward. "Isn't your Light supposed to protect those you love from harm? Look down below, and see how great an impact your Light has on them." Of course, he was being sarcastic, because her Light provided no protection at all.

Kairi closed her eyes, turning her head slightly as she refused to look out at the fight below. She knew Sora was getting hurt, and Riku as well; she was no fool. She was aware enough of her condition to know that the Darkness here was making her weak. Whatever power she had, it was fading.

"Go ahead and use your power to protect them, Highness," Zant mocked, not catching the angry reactions from Timothy and Adam on the other side of him. "Prove to us that the Light can actually stand up to the Darkness." But I know you can't prove it, and the Light cannot stand up to the Darkness anyway. Darkness reigns supreme.

You know just as well as the rest of us that she has no power here, Jeremy wanted to say, the boy's eyes furrowing as he kept his eyes on the show. Her being here alone is killing her, and you're enjoying it. So what if she was from the Realm of Light? She was an innocent girl who got dragged here without meaning to. She hadn't done anything wrong, and yet he was antagonizing her. Some justice.

Kairi opened her eyes to glare down at the ground. "Stop it," she said weakly, fighting her emotions. She had no power here, and he knew it. He was just being cruel to her now, but she knew it would get much worse. He'd done worse to her friends, and they were all dead.

Zant chuckled, shifting his gaze from the Princess back to the show. "For now, I will," he agreed with a small nod. "You may not be able to put up a fight, but your one warrior looks like he's trying to do the fighting for all three of you. It's a pity he'll only end up falling." Mandy was easily beating Riku, and when she took him down, she would assist Grace with Sora and take him down as well. It was only a matter of time.

Be quiet, Kairi wanted to say, though she instantly looked up from the ground. Below, Sora was doing just as Zant said he was; he was fighting his hardest, and Riku...he was giving up. Don't stop now, Riku. Keep fighting!

Riku swung at Mandy after he dodged one of her attacks, but it missed. He wasn't surprised, since he wasn't in his best state for battle. I'm going to lose, he realized after a little of the fight. He was already feeling weary, which meant he would collapse...if Mandy didn't kill him first.

"Idiot," Mandy mumbled to Riku, swinging her sword at his side. She had to keep up her part of the act, but she couldn't have Riku dying on her! She didn't know how to motivate him, since she already tried taunting him to get him angry. She only had one choice, and that was to tell Riku that his love was still alive. She didn't understand how a stoic warrior like him could be so affected by love, but he was.

"Heard that," Riku said, blocking the attack with his sword before he shoved it away with half his strength. Idiot or not, his beloved was dead. Sorry for being heartbroken, he thought with frustration, his aqua eyes set on Mandy. She had been yelling at him repeatedly, and sometimes it did get him riled up, but eventually that died off.

"You were meant to," Mandy said without flinching, stepping right in front of Riku and pressing her Keyblade against his. "You're giving your life up for nothing, you pathetic, love-sick sap," she spat, pressing harder against his Keyblade as she kept her voice low. "She's still alive." Lightning was still alive.

Riku grew infuriated at that, knowing that he was being lied to. "Shut up, you heartless piece of trash!" he hollered, pushing against the girl's blade to get her off. She was nothing but scum to him, just like the rest of the warriors in this Realm. "You killed her!" Their blades were disconnected, so he could glare at her better now.

Zant watched Mandy stumble back, the man chuckling at Riku's sudden burst of energy, and how he suddenly attacked with more fervor after that time as the battle went on. He didn't know what Mandy said, but it ticked him off, so that was excellent. "No matter how hard they fight, they will fall," he said, shifting his gaze to the Princess again. "All because their Light isn't strong enough. It's a shame you are of no use to them, Princess."

Kairi turned her head and glared at Zant, her violet-blue eyes sharp as daggers. Her Light...being of use? "What do you know about help?" she snapped, though her voice was no louder than a hiss. "You think this is helping your people, having them watch others get killed when they didn't do anything wrong?! You think this is honestly doing any good? This is nothing but slaughter!"

Jeremy pushed himself away from the balcony wall at that, hearing how irritated Kairi was obviously getting. This was the most emotion she had shown since she'd been up here. And despite his prior loyalty to Zant, he agreed with her.

"Wrong, Princess," Zant said, closing his eyes and explaining to her what she should have understood by now. "The people sent down to the arena have committed crimes in this realm, crimes that include being from your wretched realm. You and your friends have intruded here, and for that, you all deserve to die horrid deaths. This is justice." Three of her friends already did suffer those deaths at the hands of his warriors, and that was the best justice that could be provided here.

Kairi pushed herself up from her seat, ignoring her weak knees as she glared at the ruler of this world. "No," she said with a shake of her head, her red hair moving over one shoulder. "Justice is being fair, and doing what's best for the common good. This is not fairness or goodness." She ignored the roar from the crowd, knowing something must have happened down in the arena. But she wouldn't look; she couldn't see who was hurt.

"Your definition of goodness is not viable here," Zant said, feeling himself getting angry with the Princess. He also pushed himself up from his seat, staring down at her from his taller height. "You from the Realm of Light have no clue how to really govern people, keep them happy and satisfied with life. You are too naive to see what needs to be done and do it!" But of course, he didn't really mean that; he only cared about what made him happy and satisfied. Not even his Keybladers mattered to him.

"I'd rather be naive than cold and heartless," Kairi said, taking a small step back because of Zant's large size. He was intimidating, but she was standing her ground. She had to do something to help her friends, while she still could. "You've committed the worst of crimes out of all the people you've had your soldiers murder! You're nothing but a hypocrite!"

Jeremy blinked in surprise, seeing that this girl had more fire in her than he originally thought. But...this could get ugly really fast, so he tensed with caution. Timothy, Adam...get ready.

"You know nothing, Princess!" Zant roared, curling his hand into a fist as he fought the urge to punch her. But if he did that, he would prove to his warriors that she was getting to him. "You people of the Light are all the same, casting judgments on the Darkness without knowing a thing about it. The Light is weak, because it can only attack the Darkness instead of actually defending itself. You're a valid representation for the Light, weak and attacking anything that doesn't fit into your mindset." He was going to put an end to it, right now.

And this isn't the Light defending itself? We haven't been given the choice to do anything else! Of course, Kairi didn't say this, because she was speechless, frozen in fear. "Sora..." she called to him fearfully, unable to help it. Zant was a large man, and obviously had a lot of strength. If two of his warriors were busy down below and he continued to yell at her like this, would he be the one to kill her?

Sora grunted at the call, instinctively glancing up at the balcony where his beloved was. He sensed her fear, so something must have been going on up there. He had to save her! But, how was he supposed to get up there when the exits were all guarded? Not to mention he was in the middle of a fight..."Hold on, Kairi, I'm coming!"

"I'm going to use you as an example," Zant said lowly, summoning his sword to his grasp as he looked at Kairi. "This is the Light, being defeated by the Darkness." He pointed his sword at her, prepared to deal one lethal blow. He was setting an example for his warriors, an example that proved how powerful the Darkness was compared to the Light. They'd appreciate it someday.

Grace saw Sora glance around, and she swung at him while he was distracted. However, she missed...on purpose. When she was close to him, she gave him some advice. "Keep fighting," she whispered, taking her Keyblade back before she swung at him again. He had to keep fighting!

Kairi saw the sword, which instantly made her take a few steps back. However, her weak legs gave out underneath her, and she fell to the ground. She pushed herself up slightly, holding herself up by her arms as her hair fell away from her face. No...

Jeremy took a step forward instinctively, seeing what was about to happen. One more second, he told himself, knowing they would have to wait until the opportune moment. They had to catch Zant off guard completely, and save Kairi.
