Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Sora!" Kairi called instantly, relief in her voice. He was alright! She saw him get in front of her, but she kept her back pressed against the wall. She knew she wouldn't be able to treasure his presence long, since Zant would be coming back for them. Her eyes left Sora and went to the enemy, seeing him not too far off.

Jeremy heard the name, and he struggled to sit up. He was able to prop himself up, and that was enough for him to see that the Keyblade warrior of Light was here and protecting the Princess. His eyes left the two and found Zant, his eyebrows furrowing. He needed to get up and help fight him off; Sora couldn't do it alone.

Sora summoned his Keyblade back into his grasp, glaring at Zant as the wicked man glared right back. He wasn't going to get that close to Kairi again, or the other Keybladers. They helped protect Kairi, and now Sora was going to protect them as well. He gritted his teeth and then ran forward to meet Zant, his Keyblade clashing with Zant's sword as their battle began.
Back in the arena, Riku was still fighting off his lion. The things were persistent, which ticked him off. He just wanted to finish this fight and get to Lightning! Riku swung at his beast, striking it before it clawed at him. He dodged it, but barely, which caused him to regret not taking care of himself the last few days. He was paying the price.

Lightning glanced over at Riku from her lion, the one that she was facing alongside Mandy. They were almost done with it, but Riku obviously wasn't done with his. In fact, he was struggling in his fight. She looked back and shared one look with Mandy, the girl nodding and motioning for Lightning to go. She did just that, ignoring the weakness and hurt she felt as she kept up her sprint. She turned her sword into a gun and started shooting at it, making it roar in pain and back away from Riku a little more.
Riku heard the gunshots, and without looking he knew it was Light. He was thankful for the interruption, and he would use it as an advantage. He gripped his Keyblade with both hands and closed his eyes, calling to one of his strongest spells. "Thunder!" he cried loudly. There was a boom of thunder before multiple bolts of lightning fell down on his target, making it roar more with pain.

We can kill it, Riku! I'll knock it down and you deal the final blow, Lightning got closer to the fight while charging a spell, and when it was done, she opened her free hand and sent a large fireball at the creature. Again it roared, but this time, it fell down with a thud. But it wasn't dead, not yet. "Riku!"
Riku didn't need to be told twice. He ran forward and leaped into the air, gripping his sword with both hands as he stabbed it into the beasts side. It gave a weak roar at the pain before it went limp, and as the boy stayed crouched on the creature's side, he knew it was dead. Two down.

Lightning stopped when she was about two feet away from Riku and the lion, seeing the creature start fading away now that it was dead. The battle was in their favor now; they had the lions outmatched, and there were four people up in the balcony against Zant. They were going to win this fight and go home.

Riku's feet found the ground once the lion faded away, and he turned his head as he stood upright to look at the woman he thought was dead. ...I love you, he thought out of the blue. She was so strong, even after all she went through, and she was still here. Riku took a step toward her, but Roxas's holler caught his attention.

"A little help would be nice!" Roxas yelled, jumping back and barely dodging one of the lion's claws. Even if he had two Keyblades, these things were still tough. He lifted one of them and blocked a swing from the lion, grunting as he brought his other Keyblade forward to hit the beast.

Light's head turned sharply to the side, the young woman seeing Roxas facing his lion. But then she looked back to Riku, who was closer to her than he had been a minute ago. "You stay away from the lions," she said lowly, pointing a finger at him. She saw him fighting, and how many close calls he had. She wasn't going to take any chances and let him get clawed by a lion, because then, its curse would be upon him. And from what the Keybladers said, that curse was very real.
Riku stared at Lightning at the order, but he nodded nonetheless. He understood that order clearly because she was right; he almost got cursed way too many times with the lion he was fighting alone. But that didn't mean he wouldn't help from a distance.

"Go help Sora, and don't get yourself killed," Lightning said sternly, tightening her grip on her gunblade as she turned and ran to help Roxas. She didn't want Riku down here near the lions at all, so Zant was the next best thing. She knew he would insist on doing something to help.
Riku smirked slightly at the last bit before he took off, running to one of the gates. As he got closer, he saw that Sora already took care of the guards, so he ran on through, disappearing from the audience's view as he went to help his best friends.

Sora was blade to blade with Zant, the teen using his adrenaline to give him the strength to keep inching the bigger man back towards the edge. Zant was still human, so if he fell off the side of the balcony, then he would die from the fall. It was hard to fight him, though, especially since he was alone. Jeremy was blocking Kairi from any stray attacks for him, and Adam was helping Timothy recover from a near fatal blow. It's up to me to end Zant.

Jeremy stood in front of Kairi, his Keyblade out at his side. He had been watching Sora for a while, rooting for him to defeat the man that Jeremy had once stood loyal to. But after seeing just what was happening, he realized that Sora might not win. "...This is taking too long," he said, sure that Kairi could hear him. "He's not going to be able to pull this off unless he does something soon." Zant would gain the upperhand.

Kairi glanced up at Jeremy before her eyes found the boy she loved again. She closed them after a moment, lifting a hand to her chest. Zant thinks my Light doesn't do any good, but there's one way I know how to support my friends. "Stay strong, Sora," she encouraged the man she loved. He would overcome Zant; his purpose to fight was the right reason. It was justice, true justice.

Sora gritted his teeth, not at Kairi's words of encouragement, but at Zant's strength. He was slowly starting to gain control of the fight, and as soon as that happened, Sora was in serious trouble. He was putting all his strength into offense to end this; he wouldn't have the energy to defend himself. He grunted when he lifted a hand and set it against the stop of his Keyblade, using both hands to hold off the pressure that Zant was now putting against him. Not good.
Riku ran up the flights of stairs, feeling fatigue because of his self neglect. But that didn't stop him, the boy breathing heavily as he reached the last flight of stairs. He didn't hear anything at first, but the Darkness was strong enough that he knew it was being used. He reached the top of the stairs and ran forward, seeing inside the room because of the open door. He stopped once he was in, his eyes instantly finding his two best friends, one being protected and the other fighting. Seeing Sora's position, Riku knew that it was obvious who he had to help. He lifted a hand, grunting as he sent a Dark Aura spell at Zant from his spot.

Zant looked over when he saw the orbs that came at him, though he couldn't defend himself against them. He grunted when the impact was rougher than he expected, the man taking the pressure off of Sora and stumbling back a few steps. He momentarily glared at Riku, but then he noticed somebody charging at him. He couldn't lift his sword in time, Sora releasing a harsh battle-cry as he swung at Zant. He was lifted off the ground because of the strength behind him, the man sent flying. His foot clipped the edge of the railing of his balcony, but other than that, he didn't touch anything but air. He cried out, knowing he was falling to his death.

Lightning looked up when she heard Zant's scream, the young woman near where he would land. She suddenly felt Mandy appear by her and tug her out of the way, throwing her to the side. She grunted roughly when she hit the ground and rolled, though she noticed out of the corner of her eye that Mandy moved out of the way as well. That was good, because she didn't ever want somebody sacrificing themselves for her. She felt the ground shake when the big man landed, his scream gone now. And his body would be gone in a moment, since he was fading away. ...It's over.

Grace turned at the scream, having just defeated her lion. When Zant's body impacted the earth and his cries were gone, his body fading, she took a few steps toward him. Her dark eyes weren't wide with surprise or with fear; they expressed her content, her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. So long, Zant. Their time of false justice and guidance was over.

Jeremy heard Zant's body impact the ground from where he stood high above, and once the silence washed over the crowd, he glanced back at Kairi. He saw that she was alright, so he stepped away, going to the balcony as he dismissed his blade. Looking down at the arena, he saw his friends and comrades...and Zant's body as it faded. Your time is up.

Sora took a step closer to the edge of the balcony, looking down and seeing Zant fading away. The crowd was silent now, or at least, the crowd that remained after all the chaos began. A lot of them fled during the time because they were frightened. He sensed Adam and Timothy come to the edge of the balcony as well, looking down at their former leader and seeing his demise.

Mandy stood a few feet away from Lightning, who was slowly pushing herself up. She wasn't looking at her, though, her gaze on Zant as he vanished. She was done being a slave to him. Never again would she be so naive and give into someone's desires because they offered her strength. From now on, she would walk her own path.

Riku took a few more steps into the room, able to see on one of the screens that Zant was already fading away. He tore his eyes from the sight, his gaze resting on his best friend. He held his Keyblade in one hand as she ran over to him, wrapping her arms around him as she embraced him. He looked down at Kairi as he set his free hand on her back, seeing that she was shaken up. He didn't blame her, considering all she witnessed from being up here. "You okay?"

Kairi nodded, the side of her face pressed against Riku's vest. She was alright now, since Zant was defeated. Hopefully now they could get out of here and go home, but...it would only be herself, Riku, and Sora. She still didn't know the others were alive, the girl ignorant of what happened on the battlefield below.

Sora turned to look at the three beside him, his bright blue eyes on them even if they weren't looking back. "Thank you," he said with sincerity. Not only was he thanking them for protecting Kairi, but for not killing his friends. The only person he hadn't seen throughout the chaos was Namine, but he was sure that Roxas had her hidden away somewhere safe while all the fighting was going on.

Jeremy turned his head, seeing and hearing Sora's sincerity. "Actually," he started, standing upright as one hand rested on the balcony wall, "I think we should be the ones thanking you. You helped us overthrow Zant." He nodded to the warrior of Light, grateful and appreciative of his assistance. "We couldn't have done it without you, any of you." He looked to the silver-haired teen in the room as well, his dark eyes meeting his aqua. The other warrior nodded silently, and Jeremy looked back to Sora. "So...thanks."

Sora heard Timothy and Adam grunt in agreement to Jeremy, their facial expressions showing the same as Jeremy's. Sora smiled a little, nodding. "You know, you guys aren't so bad," he realized, looking over the three of them. Seeing them now, they weren't so different than he and his friends were. They were just misled before, but they had good hearts. He could see it now.

"We won't be, now that we have our own choices to make," Jeremy said with a small smile of his own. Zant was gone, so they were free to have their own thoughts and opinions, and just freedom in general.

Kairi stepped out of Riku's embrace, her hands coming back to her sides as she looked to the four boys not too far off. She smiled at Jeremy's words. She had a feeling that things on this world would be changing now that Zant was gone, and she didn't doubt it would be because of these Keyblade wielders. True, they were from the Darkness, but they were still good people. They saved her and her friends, after all.
