Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora nodded faintly with the same small smile, that being his only response since he heard a noise. He turned his head towards the doorway he entered through and saw Mandy and Grace come in, and behind them, his three friends. Lightning, Namine, and then Roxas. He was glad to see all of them alive and relatively unscathed. The two fighters looked a little roughed up from the battle in the arena, but that was to be expected. At least they were alive.
Kairi heard the noise as well, and following Sora's gaze, her eyes widened drastically. Her friends... They were alive! She stepped past Riku and ran over to Namine, wrapping her arms around the girl who was just like her sister. "Namine, you're okay!" she said with relief. Her friend was alive, and so were Roxas and Lightning. Oh, thank goodness.

Namine found herself smiling at Kairi's excitement, the blonde feeling the same thing. "So are you!" she said in relief, hugging her back without feeling any pain in her back. The wound had healed, thank goodness. She had forgotten about it after a while, since she was so concerned for Kairi and her other friends. But they all made it out of this alive.

Grace had stepped out of the way to give both the girls some room, and she stood with her hands at her sides as she looked away from them and to the three boys that were her friends. She nodded to them with a weak smile, receiving the same treatment from Jeremy. They did well, every single one of the people in this room. They defeated Zant and did the best for the common good. This was justice.

Light caught Mandy walk over to her friends and get out of the way of her group's reunion, Sora also coming over and giving Roxas a pat on the shoulder as a brotherly gesture. She smiled a little at the sight of it, though she stepped past the others and went over to the person who had been on her mind the past few days. Riku.
Riku watched as Roxas smiled at Sora and the girls started talking, the Dark Keyblade wielders in their own group. But he couldn't ignore the person that was walking toward him, the boy dismissing his Keyblade as his eyes stayed glued to hers. Light...

Light stopped in front of Riku, her hands by her sides as her sword was in its case. "...Hi," she said softly, that being all she could think to say now that she was looking up into his aqua eyes. She spoke to him earlier in battle, but that hardly made a difference now. They were both alive.
Riku heard the greeting and took it in, but he didn't return it. Instead, he lifted his hands to Lightning's face and connected his lips with hers, his eyes closing at the kiss. She was alive... She was here. He hadn't lost her.

Lightning felt surprised about the rash kiss, but she didn't mind it. She shut her eyes and kissed Riku back, her hand lifting and sitting atop his heart. She felt it beating quickly under her hand, faster than it should have been since the adrenaline from battle should have worn off by now.
Riku's lips moved with Lightning's for a good minute, feeling her hand against his heart. It was beating quickly because he was so happy to see her; she was a wonderful sight, because he hadn't thought he would ever see her again. Riku pulled back from the kiss after a moment, his forehead resting against Light's as his hands remained on either side of her face. "...You're here," he whispered softly. He still had her.

Light nodded faintly, though she couldn't move her head much because of Riku's secure hold on it. It didn't matter to her, since she wasn't planning on moving away. "Yeah," she said softly. She was here, thankfully. The Keybladers spared her when she started convincing them that the Realm of Light was different than what Zant made it appear to be. They wanted to learn more, so they kept her alive and helped her get better from the fight and Zant's nearly fatal attack.

Grace witnessed the romance going on between the Keyblade Master and the soldier, but she glanced away once the boy smiled to give them privacy. She wasn't sure what he smiled about, but she could only guess it was because his lover was alive. She hoped that now that Zant was gone, she could encounter something like that. But after the reputation she got from working for Zant, she doubted she would. She would only scare people off.

Lightning opened her pale blue eyes, seeing Riku right in front of her still. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed all her other friends formed one bigger group, but they weren't about to drag her and Riku over to join them. Just a little while ago, Riku had believed that his true love was dead, while the others lost only friends. Friends were important, without a doubt, but having your true love killed was worse on so many levels.
Riku opened his eyes as well, his gaze settling on the woman he loved. "You alright?" he finally asked, his voice soft. The last time he saw her she was in really bad shape, and he hoped that hadn't gotten worse with the battle just a little bit ago. He wanted her to be alright, so he could have her forever.

"I'm alive," Light responded softly, recalling she had said the same thing to Roxas a few days ago when he asked if she was alright. Lightning couldn't really say she was alright, though, since this realm still made her weak. That, and she was tired and weary from the battle. But like she told Riku, she was alive, so that was all that mattered.
Riku smiled weakly, taking his forehead away from Light's so he could look at her better. He ran one thumb over her dirty cheek, though he was sure he wasn't looking his best either. "Good thing too," he said, his eyes on hers. "I can't live without you." He nearly died out in the arena today because he had no fight left in him. What was his life without Light? Nothing. It was empty.

"I noticed that," Lightning said softly, no hint of a smile present on her face as she kept her eyes on Riku's. She heard his condition briefly from Mandy before she ran out to join him and battle, and she noticed he wasn't completely recovered from losing her yet. You shouldn't have given up the fight. Not because of me.
Riku's small smile disappeared instantly at the words and the look in Lightning's eyes. He closed his own and sighed, his hands falling from her face. He should have figured as much, given how she told him to get out of the arena and go help Sora. Or was that just because of the curse?

Claire took a small step forward and wrapped her arms around him lightly, her forehead resting against his chin. She shut her eyes, not really wanting to talk about this subject. "Don't you ever scare me like that again," she whispered, scolding Riku gently. He couldn't fall apart like this if she ever really died; he had more reasons to fight than just for her.
Riku opened his eyes, though he wrapped his arms around the woman he loved. "...Sorry," he said lowly, his eyebrows furrowing as he stared down at the ground. "I just..." He couldn't find the strength when he was convinced she was gone. Yes, he was infuriated, but his sorrow overcame everything else.

Lightning didn't bother saying anything, just exhaling a soft breath when Riku held her. She knew he had his excuses, but she still didn't want him to give up. However, she couldn't really blame him for his actions, because she would have been a wreck too if their positions had been swapped and Riku was the one "gone". She just would have channeled her grief into fury instead.
"...I love you, Light," Riku said, his talking not affecting her forehead against his chin. He always would, even if he really lost her. He would love her for the rest of his life. She had his heart, after all.
  • Author
"I love you too, Riku," Lightning responded softly, keeping her position and letting her eyes remain shut. She would always love him, and now she would be even more careful not to make Riku believe she died. Granted, she didn't try doing it this time around, but the vow she made to herself still stood. She wouldn't let Riku believe she was dead again, because one of these times when he gave up the fight, she wouldn't be there to save him in time.
Kairi let her gaze wander from Namine to the boy she loved, though he was hardly a boy anymore. True, he had the boyish charm that she adored, but he was her warrior and mature beyond his years. Her conversation with Namine was over, but he was in the middle of one with Roxas, so she would just admire him from where she stood. Besides, she would have her whole life to be with him; they were getting married soon.

Sora noticed Namine step closer to Roxas and wrap her arms around him from the side, doing it gently so she wouldn't interrupt the conversation he was having with Roxas. But that was alright, since they just wrapped up their conversation. He looked over to the girl he loved and lifted an arm, motioning for her to come over and join him. He wanted her close after everything.
