Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked over at Roxas, grunting at his call and the fact that Namine wasn't on his glider. She was just there a second ago! He swung his glider around while keeping a secure hold on Kairi, his eyes going to the portal as it faded away. What just happened?!

Riku pulled his glider to a stop, hovering above the ground as he looked back toward the portal. He caught it in time to see it fade away....without Namine coming through it.

Roxas hopped down from his glider, which disappeared as he ran toward where the portal was before. He shook his head in disbelief, his eyes wide with fear. "No..." he whispered hoarsely. This couldn't be happening... Namine was right there with him the whole way!

Sora blinked, suddenly remembering something. "Riku, what did Grace say about being trapped in the Dark Realm?" he asked urgently, turning his head to look at his best friend. There was a way for it to happen. It was a curse that was cast somehow, but he couldn't remember how it happened because he had been told when he was focused on battle.
"The lions," Riku said, looking over at Sora as his eyes narrowed. Namine got clawed by one of the lions a few days ago, when she was in the arena. Anyone that got marked by those lions couldn't leave the Dark Realm...ever. "...Namine's cursed."

Lightning looked down at the ground, still holding onto Riku and sitting on his glider. ...That's right, she thought. Mandy had warned her and Roxas about what would happen if they got clawed by one of the lions, and they had been so busy ever since then that they hadn't even realized one of them was cursed. Namine...was trapped in the Realm of Darkness. Forever.

Roxas shook his head, closing his eyes as he ground his teeth. No...no! Namine couldn't be cursed! The Nobody sank to his knees, his hands resting on the ground before he pounded it with his fist. He felt pain, but he didn't care. The pain in his heart was worse. He and Namine were separated...for good.

Kairi closed her eyes, placing her forehead against Sora's back again. Namine was gone? The girl felt tears appear in her eyes at the reality of the situation, unable to believe this. Her best friend, her sister, was stuck in the Realm of Darkness.

"...No way are we just letting Namine stay stuck in that realm," Sora said, determination coming through in his voice. "There has to be another way to get into the Realm of Darkness." Dark Portals were out of the question, since none of them could use them. But there must have been some other way to get there. He refused to believe otherwise.
"I suggest we start doing some research," Riku said, his eyes leaving Roxas and finding Sora. They didn't have any other choice, so that was all they could do. Of course, they were all weak still, so they would have to rest at least a few hours before they got to work. They couldn't take in research when they were so weak.

Sora nodded faintly, shifting his gaze from Riku to Roxas. "If any world is going to have information, it's going to be this one," he said, mostly to his Nobody who was on the ground. Maleficent used to reside in the castle, so surely she had books on the Realm of Darkness. And Ansem the Wise must have done research on it, so he would have some books here. They'd find a solution to this problem.
Roxas pushed himself up from the ground, wiping the blood on his knuckles on his pants before he turned around to face his friends on their gliders. "When do we start?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowing in determination. He agreed; no way was he going to leave Namine behind forever. He was going to get her, and he was going to bring her back.

Sora glanced over his shoulder at Kairi, though his gaze shifted to Lightning after a minute. "It seems like at least Kairi and Lightning need some time to recover before we start searching," he said, glancing back at Roxas. He heard Lightning say stubbornly that she was fine, but she had her head against Riku and her eyes were shut. She obviously wasn't fine.
Kairi heard Roxas summon his glider again, and she kept her forehead pressed against Sora's back as she spoke. "The safehouse Leon let us all use before is still vacant," she said softly. "We can go there." Her house was cleaned out for obvious reasons, so that was out of the question.

Sora nodded faintly, turning his glider while keeping a hold on Kairi. He started towards the town while trusting his other friends would follow, his blue eyes set straight ahead. Try to hold on, Namine. We'll come for you as soon as we can. She was already weak in that realm, so he was worried about her. But he was sure Roxas was much more worried, since Namine was his girlfriend.

A few days later...

Roxas stood on the train with his friends, staring out the window as Yen Sid's Tower passed by. They were on their way to the Twilight Realm, something one of them managed to discover in one of the books in the castle library. Through there they could get to the Realm of Darkness and, eventually, Namine. I'm on my way, Nam. Just hold on.

Sora crossed his arms as he leaned against a wall on the train, eyes down on the ground. All five of them were going back to the Realm of Darkness. Even Kairi. For some reason, the books they read said that they would need a strong Light to assist them. They didn't say what it would help with, but it didn't really matter. Kairi was here, and he was going to keep her safe.
Kairi sat in one of the seats on the train, tension in their car. She tried to ignore it as she stared at her engagement ring, knowing that right now she really should have been home and planning her future with Sora. Of course, that was put on hold due to the Darkness sweeping everything out from underneath her. But it was alright, because Namine came first. Even if Kairi's Light wasn't needed, she would have tagged along. Namine was her sister, so she was going to help any way she could.

Lightning felt the train come to a stop eventually, the sudden stop making her lurch a little as she stood against a wall. They were at their destination. They had to get off the train and walk to the border for the Twilight Realm, go through that Realm, and then they would be at the borderline to the Realm of Darkness. They found a way to get to Namine, but they had yet to find a way to break the curse. That would have to come later.
Riku pushed himself up from his seat, hearing the doors open and seeing Roxas exit the train. He was eager to get to Namine, but he had to remember to be cautious. They didn't know what this Realm held for them, so they had to be careful.

Lightning followed Roxas out, sure that Riku would be close behind her. All of them had to stay together in this realm, because they had no idea what it would be like. When she exited the train, she looked out in front of her, seeing a wall in front of them. The air was different around it, the wall looking like something they could walk through and into the world where everything looked red and orange like the colors of the sunset. It really exists. Huh.
Kairi followed Riku out, stopping next to him when he chose to look at the portal to the Twilight Realm. She bit her lip, taking in a breath through her nose. She was a little nervous, because the last Realm hadn't helped her much with strength and power. She wasn't sure what this one would do to her.

Sora reached out and grabbed Kairi's hand, though he noticed Roxas and Lightning kept walking towards the Twilight Realm. "Hey! Wait!" he called to them. They couldn't get separated; they had to stay together. There was no telling what that realm would be like, or what dangers they would face.
Riku took a few steps forward and grabbed Lightning's wrist, seeing Roxas turn around to look at Sora out of the corner of his eye. He caught what Sora was getting at, and that was that they couldn't get torn apart. Who knew what the Twilight Realm was like? It could be nearly as dangerous as the Realm of Darkness.

Sora thought Roxas looked ticked Sora stopped him, but he had to do it. "C'mon, man, we've gotta stick together," he said walking forward with Kairi in tow. He knew how badly Roxas wanted to save Namine, but they couldn't get killed in the process of trying to get to her. The books they read made the Twilight Realm sound pretty dangerous.
Roxas hesitated a moment before he nodded to Sora, turning his head to look back at the wall that was in their way. Sorry, he mentally apologized, releasing a heavy breath. He just wanted to make sure Namine was okay; he was scared for her safety.

Lightning slid her hand into Riku's, his hand now grasping hers instead of her wrist. She extended her other hand and motioned for Roxas to grab on, seeing that Kairi was also the next closest to him. The line would be Riku, herself, Roxas, Kairi, and then Sora. They were all going to walk into this place together, no matter what.
