Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Roxas noticed Lightning's hand by his, and he took it while also extending his hand to Kairi. She grasped his and he held it securely, knowing that she was the Light that would guide them through this realm. "...Everyone ready?" he asked, looking on both sides of him. This was it.

Sora nodded, hearing Lightning hum in agreement. He was ready for whatever this realm held. He and his friends weren't going to go down without a fight, and they were determined to make it through this realm and make it to Namine. She wouldn't have to be alone much longer.
Kairi nodded a little, and she tightened her grasp on both Sora's hand and Roxas's as they started forward. The wall started to glow a bright mixture of orange, red, and yellow, the colors of the sunset. They walked through the portal, but nothing was what she expected. She lost consciousness briefly, though she hardly expected the surprise that was waiting for her on the other side.

Lightning started coming to quickly after she lost consciousness, feeling her face against the grass and dirt. She furrowed her eyebrows and grunted, though the grunt almost sounded like a soft bark. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times at her surprisingly sharp vision, the area around her looking like the ruins of an ancient land. She started pushing herself up with her front legs, but something didn't feel right, so she fell back down. Why do I feel so strange? It's not weakness, it's just-- She looked down at her arms, a gasp leaving her mouth. She turned her head and looked back, seeing that her body wasn't her normal body. She was...a wolf?!

Roxas pushed himself up, a whine escaping his throat as he fought his wobbly legs. They weren't his legs, though; they belonged to those of some dog, and his feet were replaced with paws. He grunted when he fell flat on his stomach, though some fur cushioned his fall. What's going on? What happened to me?

Well, this is odd. Riku figured out how to sit as a wolf, his eyes darting around his friends to see that they too must have turned into the animal as well. He turned his head, able to see his back and his tail; all white. He knew it was because of his hair color that his fur was that way, but what about Lightning? He turned his head, his aqua eyes darting around. She was one too...but which one?

Sora easily rose to his feet, shaking his body like a dog often did. This was easy for him, considering that he was a lion cub before. So, he could easily balance himself and run around on four legs if he had to. That, and he knew how to fight with a Keyblade in his mouth, so this would be easy. He glanced back at his body, seeing the brown fur that was about the same color as his normal hair. And on his forehead, there was a white crown symbol, just like the necklace he always wore.

Lightning forced herself onto her paws cautiously, standing up and glancing back at her body one last time. She had gray fur that was a little closer to black than white, her body slim and fit. She glanced ahead and saw a mark on another wolf's forehead, seeing that it was a crown. That must be Sora. It's like the necklace he always wears. Wonder if there's anything on my forehead... She couldn't look for herself, obviously, but there was something there to identify her. A small white lightning bolt.

Riku's aqua eyes darted around, spotting a mark on the light golden head of one of the wolves. With his sharper vision, he was able to see that it was of two Keyblades, Oathkeeper and Oblivion, making an "X" formation. Roxas. He turned his head, spotting the crown on the brown wolf and deciding that was his best friend. Little did Riku know that he had a mark on his forehead as well, in black fur--the sun, to symbolize the path he chose so long ago. The Way to Dawn.

Kairi opened her eyes, though they opened more widely when she saw dogs in front of her. However, she also saw paws...that moved when she went to move her arm. A yelp escaped her throat, much like a bark, as she pushed herself up only to fall down again. What? What's going on?!

Sora looked over at Kairi on the ground, seeing that she was the last person to get up. "Easy, Kairi," he said, unknowingly speaking telepathically instead of making any verbal sounds. "It's just us." He glanced over to the side when he sensed a gaze on him, seeing Lightning giving him a bewildered look. "What, you can hear me?"

"Yeah," Lightning responded, though a bark left her lips with the response. She heard what Sora said, even if he didn't say anything verbally. She glanced around at all of her friends, trying to piece this all together. They were connected somehow? Or did all animals in the realm hold the capability to communicate like this?

"Sora?" Kairi asked, though a bark left her instead. Her eyes widened at the realization, her gaze going from the brown wolf to her own body. Her legs and underbelly were white, but her back and tail (and unknowingly her head and ears as well) were a faded red. "Are we...?"

"Yup," Riku replied, nodding his head slightly as his eyes rested on his friends. This was definitely not something he was expecting, but it happened, so now they had to figure out how to deal with it. He saw the white heart symbol on Kairi's forehead, and he knew that they all had symbols to not only distinguish them from others, but because of who they were as people in the other realm. The white wolf attempted taking a step forward once he was on his feet, though he tripped up and hit his face against the dirt. "Ow."

Light sat down like a dog, looking over to the side at Riku when he tried walking but failed. She started laughing, though that came out as panted breathing and a few whimpers that were chuckles. The others could tell what it was, though, since Sora released a chuckle as well at Riku. She knew she wasn't going to do any better with walking, but still, Riku's slip-up was hilarious.
Riku lifted his head as he lay on the ground, his paws in front of him. He caught Lightning and Sora laughing at him, causing his eyes to narrow and his ears to go back slightly. "Hey, you try it," he said, a bark leaving him. This wasn't nearly as easy as it looked.

Sora smirked a little, skillfully walking backwards on four paws before he started running around the whole group in a circle, not tripping up at all. Thank goodness they didn't see me when I first went to the Pride Lands. He had made himself look like a fool the first time he was an animal. But of course, none of them needed to know that.
Riku physically rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "Show off," he growled, his eyes trailing Sora's movements. He knew of his time in the Pride Lands. He had practice, while the rest of them were stuck being clumsy for a little while.

Sora stopped in front of Riku, getting up in his face playfully. "You're the one who told me to do it," he piped, a happy and amused bark leaving his lips. Despite the circumstances, it was actually fun to be an animal again. And he couldn't sense anyone in the area other than them, so they were safe. It was alright to lighten up a little bit.
Riku smirked slightly before snapping at Sora, missing his nose by an inch on purpose. If I could chase you, I would right now, he thought. Of course, he was immobile, but he wasn't the only one. He saw Kairi struggling, as well as Roxas. This would take some getting used to.

Sora laughed again, pushing off on his feet and doing a back-flip. He landed on his feet and glared at Riku, his tail wagging. He was having fun, antagonizing Riku like this. If his friend ever came to the Pride Lands with Donald, then he could become a lion too. He wondered how much fun Riku would have with that. Probably not much at first, since he hated being humiliated.
A deep groan left Riku's lips as he set his chin on the ground, lifting his paws to rest on top of his nose and cover his eyes. "Still a kid," he said with another small groan, taking in how much Sora was actually having fun with this. Not with just teasing him, but with being something other than human.

Sora laughed, hearing Lighting do the same. He looked over at her and saw that she was trying to walk, doing it delicately to avoid falling down on her face. "Still a stick in the mud," he responded to Riku, bright blue eyes on his friend. It was funny, seeing Riku react to him this way though. He wasn't being a stick in the mud at all, since he was humoring him right now.
Riku revealed his teeth by pulling back his lip, releasing a low growl just to tease Sora. Once I figure this out, you're going down, Sora. He wasn't about to let him get away with this completely.

Sora smirked, summoning his Keyblade. It appeared in the air in front of him and he jumped up a little, biting on the hilt and holding the weapon in his mouth once he landed. "If you're having this much trouble walking, have fun with fighting," he said, though he was partially serious. Fighting was harder than walking and running.

Lightning blinked her pale blue eyes, looking at Sora and his weapon. I can't summon a weapon like that, she thought, looking down at the ground. How am I supposed to fight here? I can't even use magic if I don't have a weapon to transmit it with...

"Joy," Riku groaned again, releasing a heavy breath out his nose as he continued to lay on the ground. He hadn't even thought of that, and now he didn't only have to work on walking...but fighting too. I can't even use Dark Aura here. What a bust.

"Maybe it'd be a good idea if you taught us some of your tricks," Roxas barked, sitting on the ground as he looked to his best friend. He only managed to walk a few steps before he became unsteady, so they needed to practice.

Sora sat down, shaking his head a little bit as he looked from Riku to Roxas. "There really aren't any tricks," he said honestly. "It takes practice to get the hang of it. Until then, instincts guide your steps in battle and help you use your body to fight." His first fights as a lion cub were easier in some ways, because he didn't think at all. He just let his lion instincts guide him. But as he got used to it, he had to start actually thinking about his abilities instead of slashing madly at his foes.

Roxas released a heavy breath, pushing himself back up on unsteady legs. He looked down, watching his feet as he tried walking again. C'mon, you gotta do this. You gotta at least be able to move to reach Namine.

Kairi managed to push herself up into a standing position, and like Roxas, she took hesitant steps, trying to figure out how to walk on all fours. It definitely wasn't easy, no matter how it looked when she remembered horses running or Jasmine sprinting across the beach. This was going to be difficult.

"I'll scout ahead and look for enemies while you guys keep working," Sora said, getting down to business now that they had to get serious. Namine was still in trouble, and this place wasn't necessarily safe. "Howl if you need anything." He turned around and started running on ahead, Keyblade already in his mouth. If he ran into anything, he'd be ready. His friends weren't ready to face any enemies right now.
Riku lowered his paws, lifting his head when his ears caught onto Sora's steps. He turned his head, watching his friend run off. Well, here goes nothing, he thought, pushing himself up into a sitting position before rising to his feet. He tried walking agian, though he took slower steps this time, that way he wouldn't humiliate himself again.
