Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku nodded his head a little, nudging Sora's shoulder with his own. "Thanks, buddy," he said in gratitude, glad to see that his spell worked on Light's injuries. Now they at least knew the spells worked, but they still had some practicing to do. Fighting and sniffing things out, literally. They really had to focus.

"Sure thing," Sora said with a nod, smiling faintly. He shifted his gaze to Roxas and Kairi then, who had been quiet for a while. "Are you guys ready to go?" he asked, speaking generally to the group. "We have no idea how long it'll take to get to the Realm of Darkness." He was wondering what their strategy would be: would they run straight through the realm and risk enemies ganging up on them in the end, or would they take their time and face one enemy at a time?
Roxas barked once in confirmation as Kairi nodded, wanting to get going. Out of everyone, he obviously wanted to get to Namine the most; she was his lover after all. He needed to see her, to know she was alright. He was ready to get going and reach the Realm of Darkness.

Sora nodded faintly as well, continuing to take charge. "We'll have to take it slow at first," he decided, knowing they had to be cautious until they were all capable fighters. "We don't want anything like this happening again." He subconsciously glanced at Lightning before he started walking forward, on guard. Anything could happen in this realm, and he didn't like it. Things weren't as similar to the Pride Lands as he hoped they'd be.
Kairi saw Sora taking the lead, and she hurried over to be by his side. She wasn't sure what to expect out of this realm, so she would stick close to him for safety, as she always did. She glanced over briefly to see Roxas coming as well, and Riku too.

Lightning started a step after Riku, though she picked up her pace a little so she was right beside him. She could practically hear his voice telling her not to leave his side, which she thought was ridiculous. But then again, she had a lot of close calls lately, first with the fight in the arena and just now with the Heartless. She supposed she should cut him a little slack for being overly protective.

Riku took the rear alongside Lightning, glancing at her briefly when she was beside him before he focused forward again. That was how it stayed throughout the day, as they traveled across the Twilight Realm. They had to constantly be on guard for any Heartless, but they only had a few encounters for the distance they covered. Later, when it started to get dark, Riku, Roxas, and Sora all went out to get some sticks and small logs for a fire, which Roxas took the liberty of casting once everything was set.

Once the fire was going, Roxas went over and lay down next to a large rock, curling up in the grass. He set his head on his paws and released a heavy breath, anxious to get to Namine. But he was tired, and so was everyone else. It would just have to wait another day. Sorry, Nam, he thought, closing his eyes.

Sora collapsed on the ground once the logs were all piled up, the boy exhausted from the day. He had done the majority of the tracking and the fighting, since the others were still getting used to walking, running, and fighting on four legs. Roxas and Riku were much better at fighting than they had been when they first arrived in the Realm, but Lightning couldn't get the hang of it. She was forced to get the closest to enemies and attack them like an animal would, since she didn't have a weapon. Her fighting style was one that left her vulnerable a lot, but what else was she supposed to do?

Kairi approached Sora and lowered her head, lightly licking the side of his face. He was so tired, but he did great today; he was a natural leader, and she was proud of his bravery and strength, especially in a time like this.

Riku shook his fur out much like a dog would, slowly approaching an area by the fire. He lowered himself to the grass, though he didn't set his head down to rest just yet. He would just take in the sound of the peace around him, and the cool night air. It was the first sign of serenity he'd seen in a long time.

Sora found himself smiling at Kairi's kisses, his head tilting in that direction as it sat between his front legs on the ground. A small yap of pleasure left his lips, just because he liked having Kairi so close to him. There was something about this environment that made him want to be closer to her than he already was.

Lightning walked over to Riku and laid down by him, the young woman putting her head down underneath his and on his front legs. She wanted to thank him for having her back a few times today; fighting in this realm was harder than she expected.

Kairi chuckled a little as she continued to lick Sora's fur, the sound a few light whines. He was so cute; she always did love dogs, after all. But he was cuter for more reasons than just that, of course.

Riku looked down at Light when she came to rest next to him, the boy feeling her fur against his own as her head rested on his paws. He sniffed her for a moment before lightly rubbing his head against hers, nuzzling her gently. He had been scared for her all day, but she was strong. She proved her strength to him every day.

Sora started laughing when Kairi giggled, his tail starting to wag as her kisses continued. "Kai," he said affectionately, his head tilted into her kisses. She was so adorable when she was like this, even if wolves were meant to be fierce. She was fierce in her own ways, determined and strong. He loved her with all he had.

Light hummed when Riku sniffed and then nuzzled against her, her eyes shutting with the affection. They had both been so serious and focused the whole day, but now they could relax for a while. This area had no enemies, and even if it did, they could handle them now. They were stronger than they had been at the start of the day.

"Mm?" Kairi hummed, her licks continuing as she took a small step even closer to Sora. She liked showing him affection, and even if this should have been weird for her because she was a wolf, it was for that same reason that it was normal. It was instinctive, just like all his attacks had been today.

Riku continued to nuzzle his head against Lightning's, just because he could. He was proud of her for being so strong today, because things were kind of crazy as they tried getting used to being wolves. Regardless of the change, he still loved her the same.

"I love you," Sora sighed at the kisses, opening his eyes and seeing Kairi right by him. He loved her very, very much, and all that he wanted right now was to show her how much love he held for her. But his body refused to move, and he didn't have much desire to move away from Kairi's kisses. He loved the affection.

Light tilted her head so it was against Riku's chest, still feeling his head moving against the top of hers. She whined at it, but it was a happy whine more than anything else. Riku... Even after everything they went through, he was putting all this effort into showing her affection. It was sweet.

Kairi licked Sora's furry cheek one more time before she touched her nose to his. "I love you too, sweetie," she replied back. Just because they weren't at home and they weren't human didn't mean she couldn't show him how much she loved him. Even if she had forever to do it, she wanted to show it now.

Riku heard that whine and smiled slightly, nuzzling his head against Light's one more time before he rested his own on top of hers. He released a small sigh, so wrapped up in his own moment with her that he didn't notice Sora and Kairi having their own across the fire. Light was the center of his attention.

Sora whined at Kairi's affection before he opened his mouth and licked the front of Kairi's muzzle, his bright blue eyes on hers that shown in the firelight. He didn't think she could get any cuter than she was as a human, but when she was like this, he literally couldn't keep his eyes off her sometimes. Perhaps it was his animal instincts making him more passionate than usual, but he didn't care. He liked it.

Light heard Riku's sigh and felt his head atop hers, the warmth coming through her fur. She exhaled a breath through her nose and kept her eyes shut, the side of her head still against Riku's chest. She wished she could be this close to him forever.

Kairi smiled at the kiss, and she instantly nuzzled her head against Sora's. He was adorable as a wolf, because his big blue eyes stood out even more against his fur. She yapped softly, just because she loved showing him affection, even in the middle of a mission. She was just grateful for this peaceful moment.

Riku stared at the fire, taking in Light's closeness while he could. In the morning, they'd take off again to go to the Realm of Darkness, which meant the chances of this moment happening again were slim. That was unfortunate, because he liked this kind of peace.

Sora sighed, shutting his eyes and smiling again. "At this rate, I'll never want to go to sleep," he said softly, though he knew he could only stay conscious for so long. He wouldn't mind falling asleep to Kairi nuzzling him like this, though he couldn't ask her to keep up her affection till he fell asleep. She needed to sleep too, after all.
"That's alright," Kairi whined softly, pulling back and tilting her head as her violet-blue eyes rested on the one she loved. She could do this all day, and she was sure Sora wouldn't mind.

"Can I go to sleep?" Sora requested, a high whine leaving his lips as he opened his eyes and looked at Kairi. As much as he wanted to be awake to enjoy this, he really needed to get his rest. Tomorrow, they would be doing this all over again, so he would need his strength to lead the group and fight a lot of battles.

Kairi was a little disappointed, and she tilted her head. "You won't stay up with me?" she asked softly, her eyes on Sora's. She wanted him to stay up with her, just for a little while. But if he was that tired, he could sleep.

Roxas eventually turned his face away from the fire and the two couples, having just seen a moment ago that Riku was licking the top of Light's head to show his affection. I can't do that, he thought, whining a little. Namine's not here. She's stuck somewhere dangerous, without me.

"I-I want to," Sora said, a whine leaving his lips again as his head went lower to the ground in sadness. "I just..." He was just exhausted and he wanted to pass out. If he didn't, he wouldn't be able to protect Kairi when danger arose tomorrow. He wouldn't be able to lead the group effectively.
Kairi whined a little, leaning forward and licking Sora's muzzle. "It's alright," she told him gently. "Get some rest." He sounded tired, and a little sad. She didn't want to be the reason for the latter, so she would let him get some sleep. He fought hard today, anyway, so he deserved it.

"You sure?" Sora asked softly, his eyes on Kairi after she kissed him again. If it wasn't okay, then he could stay awake a little longer and be with her. But he was sure that she wouldn't have said what she just said if it wasn't okay; she wouldn't lie about something so small.
Kairi nodded again. "Go to sleep, Sora," she told him gently, stepping over and turning around to lay beside him. Once she was on her stomach and comfortable, she lifted her head and rested it on Sora's upper back, seeing Roxas not too far off. He looked so lonely, but he would be reunited with Namine soon. She was sure of it.
