Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Okay," Sora said softly, a soft bark leaving him as he shut his eyes. "Goodnight, Kai. Love you." As long as he felt her against him all night, then he'd know that she was alright and still with him. Even when asleep, he would do his best to make her feel safe.

"Love you too," Kairi said with a small yap, closing her eyes. "Goodnight." She would see him in the morning, where they would take off again on their search for a way to the Realm of Darkness.

Roxas kept his eyes closed, though he lifted his head at the love exchanged between his friends. A low howl left him then, the boy howling to the crescent moon in the sky. Namine...

Lightning opened her eyes at the howl, and she turned her head to look at the person who made the noise. Roxas... She held back a whine, a whine that would have expressed sadness for his sake. Here they were being affectionate with each other while he couldn't be with his love. They should have at least kept it down so he wouldn't notice what he was missing.
Riku looked at Roxas for a moment, hearing his howl die out before the lone wolf curled up and had his back to the rest of them. Riku looked down at Lightning before he decided that maybe it was best they just got some rest. They had to get Namine back soon, for Roxas as much as for themselves.

Light set her head back down across Riku's front legs and let the side of her head rest against his chest, her eyes shutting again. She had the same thoughts as Riku, and she planned on falling asleep now. It wasn't fair for them to do this right now when Roxas was so sad, and besides, tomorrow would be another exhausting day.
Riku lowered his head, his resting on top of Lightning's. He closed his eyes and took in her warmth, exhaling a small breath through his nose. It was time they got some sleep for the following day, since they would need the energy.

The next day

It was the middle of the day, or so Sora believed. It was hard to tell since it was twilight all day in this realm, and they could only tell when it was night because things got dark then and the moon and stars came out. It hardly mattered, though, since Sora was more concerned about something else. He had his nose to the ground, and he was sniffing out an area. "This scent is different than Heartless, but it's definitely a threat," he said, growling. Something was close, and he had no clue what it was.

Roxas continued walking, though he summoned his weapon to his mouth. He held it securely between his teeth, his eyes darting left and right for any signs of a threat. He didn't see one, but that didn't mean Sora was wrong. He caught Kairi get a little closer to Sora for safety reasons, and he didn't blame her; if Namine were here, he'd have her stay close to him too.

"I don't like this," Sora growled lowly, sniffing a wider area. "There's two trails, which means there's two of these things traveling together. And whatever they are, they're strong." He lifted his head out of the dirt and looked around, trying to spot an enemy. This area wasn't completely empty, though, with the typical trees and rubble in the area. There were places for them to hide. He started over towards some rocks, though he jumped backwards when he saw two tall creatures suddenly jump out. They weren't Heartless; they had red eyes and they were more like shadows than anything else. He growled at them, though they didn't move in immediately.

Lightning faced the direction of the threat, crouched low and growling like Sora was. She noticed his Keyblade appear in his mouth, but he didn't charge forward to face the enemies. She took the first step to rush in and fight them, but all of a sudden, one of them released an ear-splitting scream. A loud whine left her mouth, and the same for Sora, as she squeezed her eyes shut at the noise. What is this?!

Kairi's eyes squeezed shut, a pained whine leaving her as she froze in place. The scream hurt her sensitive ears, but it paralyzed her as well. She couldn't make her muscles move, and she sensed she wasn't the only one. What was going on?! What were these things?!

The screams suddenly ended, and when Sora opened his eyes, one of the beasts was suddenly in front of him. His eyes widened when it took a swing at him while he was still stunned, sending him flying to the side and making him yelp. He lost his grip on the Keyblade and landed with a thud, dust rising from the ground. What are these things?! How did they just--?

Kairi heard the yelp, opening her eyes to see that her fiance was thrown to the side. "Sora!" she whined in worry, trying to take a step toward him, but she couldn't move. But why?

Riku knew he couldn't move, so he instead called to a spell. "Wind," he ordered with a small growl, the spell leaving his Keyblade and going toward one of the strange enemies, his focus on it. If he couldn't move, his only choice was magic.

Lightning felt the spell break a second after the screams ended, so she ran forward to intercept one of the beasts that was going for Kairi. She tackled it, snapping at it viciously while she was on top of it. Whatever these things were, they weren't about to conquer them. She wanted to defeat them quickly so that they wouldn't have the chance to scream and paralyze them again.

Roxas took this as his chance, running forward and leaping for the second enemy that was left vulnerable. He jumped up and swung at it, taking on a combo so it could be eliminated quickly. They couldn't allow themselves to be caught in that trap again.

While Riku called to another spell, Kairi ran over to the boy she loved not too far off. "Sora," she whined, reaching him. She leaned her head down and started nudging him with her nose. "Sora, are you okay?"

  • Author
Sora rolled onto his stomach, ignoring the pain that he felt. He wouldn't cure himself until the end of the battle, and it didn't even look like the battles would last long, since Roxas and Riku were teaming up and one of the beasts just fell. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm--" The beast that was still alive, the one that Lightning was still on top of, let out another scream, preventing him from finishing his sentence. Not again!
Kairi cried out, a yelp leaving her as she tensed again at the scream. She dug her nails into the ground because it hurt so much, her eyes shut and her ears flat. Why was this happening?!
  • Author
Lightning was low on the beast's chest, ears flat against her head as she was braced against the scream. When it ended, the beast she was on lashed back at her, sending her flying. She yelped and landed hard, seeing the beast get off the ground with ease. Its health was fully restored, and so was that of the other beast, who rose up from the dead to fight again.

Riku growled in irritation, feeling himself become mobile once more. With a large snarl he threw his Keyblade at the beast that tossed Lightning, an angry bark leaving him as well. "Roxas, don't hold back!" he ordered with a few more barks, running forward to handle the beast he just attacked. They couldn't give them the chance to let it happen again.

Roxas went after the same enemy again, unleashing multiple spells on it to follow the order. He didn't want to go through that agonizing scream a third time.

Sora picked himself up off the ground, summoning his Keyblade back into his mouth as he sprinted over. He went for the same one Riku did, assuming that that creature was the one that had the ability to bring the other one back to life after it was killed. He easily dealt the final blow to it and saw it get knocked down, but when it fell, the other beast unleashed another scream. What?! I thought only one of them could scream like that... Apparently he had been wrong.

Riku cursed through his whine of pain, sick of this. We've gotta make this stop! he thought with frustration. This was just getting ridiculous now, and he wasn't up for dealing with it.

Roxas heard the scream finally die out after a minute, and that was when he could move again. He went for the same one, knowing that he needed to work quickly if Sora and Riku were going to team up again. Or Lightning could help him, if she was in good enough condition for it.

  • Author
"I think we need to take them down at the same time!" Lightning said, up on her feet now and sprinting over to help Roxas with his enemy. They both had this ability to bring the other back to life, so if they both died at the same time, then it was game over for them. This was the only plan she had in mind.
Kairi watched from her spot a few yards away, once again feeling helpless and powerless to do anything to help her friends. She wanted to do something, but she couldn't. She was tense already, prepared for another ear-splitting scream if one was released, seeing her friends working hard at defeating the enemies at the same time.
  • Author
"Now!" Sora cried after a minute of fighting, swinging and dealing the final blow to his enemy while Lightning clawed at her other enemy with enough force to kill it. He jumped away when he was done and prepared for another scream, but instead, both creatures suddenly vanished. It was finally over, and they wouldn't be able to scream ever again. Whatever those things were, they were done.

Kairi released a small whine in relief, her body relaxing. She saw Riku and Roxas's do the same, both holding their weapons more loosely in their mouths. "...You guys okay?" she asked, starting over towards them. She didn't want any of them to be hurt, since they still had some distance to travel.

"Yeah," Roxas replied, turning his head to nod at Kairi. At least for now, anyway, since he couldn't predict when those things would show up again. If they did, he knew what they had to do now to get rid of them.

  • Author
"Yeah," Sora barked, nodding as well once his Keyblade was gone. He caught Lightning nod faintly out of the corner of his eye, and he was glad to see everyone was okay after the battle. Whatever those things were, he hoped that he never encountered them again. Those screams were just agonizing.
