Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"We should keep moving," Roxas said after a minute, knowing there wasn't any time to waste. They needed to cover more ground, that way they could find where this portal was to the Realm of Darkness. He wanted to see Namine...so badly.

"Looks like there's something up ahead," Lightning said, seeing a wall similar to the one that they walked through to enter this realm in the distance. "Let's go." She started walking, tail between her legs because she was feeling pain from being tossed aside like a rag-doll. But she would deal with the wounds just like she always did, and that was ignoring them.
Riku picked up his pace a little, catching up with the woman he loved to walk beside her. He glanced at her to make sure she was alright, and he licked the side of her head once before leaving her be. He caught Roxas run on ahead, though he didn't go too far, obviously wise enough to stay near the group. Clearly the golden wolf was eager to see just what was up ahead.

Sora stayed close to Kairi, all of them eventually picking up their pace to a jog so that they could reach whatever was up ahead more quickly. When they were within twenty-five feet of it, he stopped, noticing Lightning do the same. This wall was just like the one they entered through, only on the other side, he could see the Realm of Darkness. "We made it!" he barked, happy.

A few chuckles left Roxas, the boy running forward on all fours. He then turned to his friends, unable to stand still he was so excited. "C'mon, let's go!" He barked a few times, obviously excited. Namine was over there, on the other side!

Kairi wasn't as eager to go through the portal as Roxas, the girl whining as she slowly sank down to the ground. She put her head on her paws, suddenly feeling very weak. It felt like someone tossed a ton of bricks at her and hit every part of her body. "I can't," she yapped weakly. "The Darkness..."

Sora turned around, a few steps ahead of Kairi when she collapsed. "K-Kairi?!" he said in alarm, though he suddenly felt his senses go berserk at the Darkness. He yelped, sinking down and covering his ears with his paws. What was that horrid ringing noise? Was it just him? He couldn't tell, but he could tell that he and Kairi weren't the only ones affected by the Darkness. Lightning also sank down to the ground and was whimpering, either in pain or in weakness.

Riku sniffed Lightning, whining in worry over her and his two friends. He heard the high ringing in his sensitive ears, but he tried his best to ignore it. He was more used to the Darkness, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt.

Kairi closed her eyes, fighting the pain as she whimpered. She didn't know that Roxas was still standing near the portal and better than the rest of them, for whatever reason. The Darkness really hurt her, after all the time she spent near it lately. It was worse.

"Roxas!" Sora barked, opening his eyes and looking in his friend's direction. "If you can go, do it. We'll find a way around this and get to you and Namine as soon as we can." He didn't know how exactly they were going to make it through this wall when they were twenty feet away and affected, but they would have to find a way. They weren't going to leave Roxas and Namine on their own.
"Are you sure?" Roxas called, barking a few times in translation. He didn't want to leave his friends behind, but he really wanted to get to Namine. He needed to see her.

"Yeah!" Sora barked in confirmation, blue eyes narrowed in discomfort and seriousness as he looked at Roxas. "Go make sure that she's safe. We'll be fine." They just had to get away from this Darkness and come up with a plan to go through. But Roxas...he seemed immune to the affects of the Darkness. That was good, because Namine needed somebody. None of them knew what happened to her after she couldn't go through the portal, so she could be in real danger.

Roxas nodded before turning around, running the rest of the way toward the portal. He went straight through, the boy losing consciousness as he transitioned from a wolf and back into the boy he truly was.

Kairi whimpered, her eyes squeezing shut. I have to get out of here, she thought weakly. She couldn't stay near the Darkness, not right now. She'd been around it too much in the past few days.

Sora forced himself to take his paws off his ears, the boy focused on getting himself and his beloved away from the Darkness. He walked back a few feet to her, getting further away from the Darkness than her. He had a feeling this wouldn't hurt, since he knew animal parents always picked up their young by the fur on their backs. "Hold on, Kai," he barked, bending down and grabbing onto her back with his mouth. He started dragging her along the ground, away from the Darkness.
Kairi felt pathetic, being dragged away like this, but what other choice was there? She was too weak to move on her own. She opened her eyes, spotting Riku nudge Lightning with his nose. She obviously wasn't feeling well either, and she didn't doubt it. The Darkness was hard on both of them. "Sorry, Sora," she whined weakly, feeling him pull her away. She wished she could carry her own weight.

"You're fine, Kairi," Sora insisted, growling a little as he kept tugging at her. They were getting further away from the wall, and he felt himself start getting better. But he wasn't going to stop pulling Kairi until she told him to. She was affected by the Darkness a lot more than he was.

Lightning whined at the Darkness, not seeing Sora and Kairi because of how she was turned. She looked up through pained eyes and saw Riku in front of her, gazing down at her in worry. She started clawing at the ground in attempt to move, trying to gather the strength to get away from this Darkness. How was she ever going to be strong enough to get through that wall of Darkness?

Riku moved, walking a few steps to be at Light's side. He continued to nudge her, encouraging her to keep going. She could do this; she had the strength. He glanced behind him, spotting the wall that led to the Realm of Darkness. His eyes narrowed before he turned back to Lightning, standing behind her. He nudged her again, whining. "C'mon, Light. You can do it," he told her gently. She just had to keep trying.

Lightning barked, not at Riku, but in effort to try and get out of this position. Her claws dug in the ground until they couldn't go any deeper, and since her paws were stuck, she forced herself to straighten her legs so that she was standing again. She moved her paws out of the dirt, able to do it since she wasn't trying to claw deeper anymore, and started at a pained walk, her tail between her legs and her body trembling a little.
Riku started walking beside Lightning, his aqua eyes resting on her as she tried to walk. You can do it. C'mon, just a little farther...he thought with encouragement. As long as she made it around the rocks up ahead, she would be alright.

Light glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw Sora and Kairi getting further away from the wall, though she was faster because Sora had to drag Kairi along. She kept her head low and panted, eyes fierce with anger against the Darkness for making her this weak. She growled through her teeth along with the pants and eventually made it to an area where the Darkness was weaker, the young woman sitting down and whining in relief. Made it.
Kairi looked over her shoulder, spotting her fiance's wolf form still pulling her. "Sora, let me go," she yapped weakly. She could walk from here, or so she believed. She would at least try.
  • Author
"A little further, just to be safe," Sora responded, tugging at Kairi still and grunting each time he did it. He could tell that the Darkness was still fairly strong, since he could sense that kind of thing. Maybe she could walk now, but he could drag her a little further.
Kairi turned her head back to face forward, letting it rest against the ground. She felt the dirt and the grass slide under her chin as she kept getting pulled, but she didn't really care anymore. She was upset; she hated being weak, but she didn't have much of a choice against the Darkness. It was the polar opposite of who she was.

Sora pulled Kairi for another minute, feeling himself getting tired out from the action. He stopped at one spot, releasing Kairi when he couldn't sense the Darkness anymore. "You okay now, Kai?" he asked softly, panting a little bit because of how hard it was to drag her.
Kairi continued to lay in the grass, her eyes closed as she sighed. "I'm fine," she yapped softly. Just wish I was stronger, she thought in silence, ignoring how her body ached from the Darkness. It wasn't as bad as it was before, but it still wasn't comfortable.

Sora whined, laying down on his stomach and letting his side rest against Kairi's back. The turned his head and started licking her head, his bright blue eyes on her. You're okay, babe. The Darkness won't hurt you now. Not only was he thinking of the Darkness of the wall, but he was also thinking about Heartless and those other things. He wouldn't let them hurt her.

Kairi felt Sora's kisses, and she appreciated his attempt at comforting her. But a small whine escaped her when she thought of how much trouble she caused Sora sometimes. She didn't like being helpless.

Riku heard Kairi's whine, and that made him sad. He looked away from her, sitting down next to the woman he loved as she rested. She was doing better now that they Darkness wasn't as close, thank goodness.
