Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning had her eyes shut, mouth open and tongue hanging out a little bit as she panted soft breaths. She heard what was going on with Sora and Kairi, and she knew that they were far away from the Darkness that they would start recovering from the weakness in a minute. They had to make their way back through the realm now and get back to their own, to do research on how to pass through that wall of Darkness. They couldn't leave Roxas and Namine on their own.

In the Realm of Darkness

Roxas road his glider over the trees of the forest, but once he was close to civilization, he jumped off of it and ran the rest of the way. He would have been spotted too easily in the air. Once he reached th coliseum, where he originally thought he would find Namine, he heard that she was actually somewhere in the city being cared for. He hoped she was alright.

Namine was currently lying on a bed in one of the Keyblader's homes, the girl on her side and barely conscious like she had been the past few days. After failing to go through the portal, she was found by the other Keybladers and they rushed her someplace where she could be cared for. Unfortunately, while all of them knew about the curse, they didn't know how to cure it or even realize that it would make a person ill when they tried leaving the realm. She was burning up with a fever now, and that made her feel absolutely terrible. She used to get sick a lot, but she never experienced a fever this high.

After hurrying through the city and receiving glares from the people of Darkness, Roxas finally found the house he was looking for. He ran up to the door and pounded on it urgently. In only a second did someone answer the door, who he recognized as Jeremy. "Where is she?" he asked, breaths heavy.

Jeremy stepped away from the door to welcome Roxas in, but he went in without really waiting for instructions. "Down the hall, second door on the right!" he hollered, seeing the blond run in that direction. Jeremy's eyebrows furrowed as he stared after him, surprised to see Roxas here. How did he come back?

  • Author
Namine thought she heard Jeremy holler something, but her back was to the door of the bedroom, so she didn't bother turning. She remembered back to when they all found her, and how alarmed they had been to see the scars in her back glowing red. But that went away about a day ago, and so did the scars. They were just guessing, since this was new to them, but they thought that the scars would remain hidden as long as she didn't try leaving again. And they hoped the dull pain in her back would go away eventually as well.
Roxas hurried through the hall and approached the second door on the right like he was told. He turned the knob and pushed it open, seeing the girl he loved on the bed with her back toward him. He walked across the room in a calmer manner, being quiet just in case she was asleep. He put a knee on the bed and set a hand on the opposite side of her, leaning over to see her face. "...Namine?"

Namine opened her eyes at the voice, surprised even if it didn't quite come across on her expression. Her eyes opened fully after a minute and she turned her head a little, shocked to actually see Roxas above her. Any other time she had these fever-induced hallucinations, she would hear him and look to see him, but he was never actually there. But now, he was. "Roxas?" she murmured. Are you really...?
Roxas lifted his free hand to Namine's hair at her tone, the sight of her suffering making him sad. "Hey, baby," he greeted quietly. She looked awful, but she was still a wonderful sight. He had been so scared.
  • Author
Namine closed her eyes, feeling Roxas's warmth added onto that of the fever. "What're you doing here?" she murmured, though she still wasn't completely sure if he was with her or not. There was always the possibility that she was just imagining this, especially since the others made it clear nobody could get back into the Dark Realm except for the few occasions where a portal opened somewhere in the Realm of Light. Roxas couldn't have come back so quickly...
"I came to get you," Roxas said, keeping his voice soft since Namine didn't look like she felt well. He didn't doubt it, since the Dark Realm wasn't good to her when he was here with her a few days ago. Please let her be alright.
  • Author
"How?" Namine mumbled, unable to help herself. This was just like a dream, where Roxas came to find her and take her away from this suffering. It was almost too good to be true, even if she did expect Roxas to come through for her in the end. But her question still stood: if he was really with her, how did he get here?
"We traveled through the Twilight Realm," Roxas answered, running his hand over Namine's head. "Once we found the portal that could bring us here, I was the only one who could go through." He didn't know why, but he was here. It was good enough for him.

"Twilight Realm?" Namine asked softly, her voice nearly a whisper as she felt Roxas's hand go over her head and her hair that was probably a little greasy. "What's that?" She had never heard of a place called the Twilight Realm, and she was starting to worry now that she was losing her sanity. What would cause her to make up such a place? It was an absurd idea that a realm like that would exist...
"It's a realm between the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness. It's an alternate way to get here, but worse." Roxas continued to move his hand over Namine's hair, not minding that it wasn't as soft as he expected. He didn't care in the slightest, since she was still beautiful. She would always be beautiful.
  • Author
Namine opened her eyes, turning her head to look at Roxas again. "...You're really here?" she whispered softly in question, his explanations checking out. She never heard of the place, but it was possible it really was a Realm between the Light and the Darkness. She wanted to believe so badly that Roxas was really here...She was ready to give into that desire, whether it was true or not.
Roxas smiled at the words without thought, though it was a smile of sadness. Namine... "Yes," he said softly. He was here, and he wasn't leaving her side. If he left, she was coming with him.
  • Author
Namine rolled onto her back carefully, keeping her moist blue eyes open and looking up at the person above her. He is...He's really... She felt the tears of relief leave her eyes and start rolling down her cheeks, though they started curving for the sides of her face since her head was straight on the pillow now. You're really here, Roxas. You made it back to me.
Roxas shook his head, his smile fading away and his eyes softening when he saw the tears. "Don't cry," he whispered softly, moving his hand that had once been on Namine's head to her cheek, wiping away the tears. He didn't want her to cry.
  • Author
"Roxas," Namine said weakly, unable to follow his advice as the tears kept coming. She had been holding in so much the past few days, just so she could survive and so that she wouldn't be as much of a burden to the new friends that she made in this realm. She had to stay strong while Roxas was away, because she had no idea when he would have returned for her. It was good that he came when he did.
"It's okay," Roxas said, running his thumb over Namine's cheek to wipe away another tear. "I'm here." She didn't have to worry any longer, nor be afraid. He would protect her and take her home, where she belonged.
  • Author
Namine shut her eyes as Roxas ran his thumb over her fevered skin, her head turning a little towards his hand. I know it's okay now, because you're here, but...How is this going to be okay in the end? I'm trapped here...forever. Nobody knew of any ways to break this curse on her, and surely there was no simple way to do it if it was possible at all. How was she ever going to get out of this realm?
Roxas's blue eyes continud to rest on the girl he loved, though he recognized her feverish skin. She's sick, he realized. He wasn't okay with it, but there was nothing he could do right now but be with her. He knew that Namine wouldn't want him to leave her side, and the only time he would was when he went to get a cure. She needed to go home with him.
  • Author
"What're you...going to do?" Namine whispered, opening her eyes halfway and looking up at Roxas. It must have been pretty obvious how sick she was, and how this curse was affecting her in so many ways. Not only that, but this realm itself was continuing to make her feel weak. There was no way she could find a cure for this on her own when she could hardly find the strength to leave the house.
"I'm going to help you," Roxas told her gently. "I'll do anything I can." If that was staying with her right now, he was alright with that. But he would discuss things along the lines of a cure with Jeremy and his friends. Namine couldn't stay like this. She'd die.
  • Author
Namine hummed softly, shutting her eyes in weakness. That was the type of answer that she expected, but she had been hoping to hear some specifics. Of course, how was he supposed to know what to do when the Keybladers of this realm didn't even know? They had absolutely no clue how to lift this curse...Or take care of her while she was under it. It all looked pretty hopeless right now.
