Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas ran his thumb along Namine's skin still, even if there weren't any tears. He gazed at her for a moment, just taking in the sight of her. His friends had been affectionate with each other last night, and he hadn't wanted anything more than to be with Namine at that time. The boy leaned down and placed a gentle kiss to Namine's damp forehead, his eyes closing at the action.

Namine found the strength to move when Roxas held his position, the blonde lifting a hand and sitting it on the back of his head. Her fingers weaved between his spikes and stayed there for a few moments despite her weakness and desire to move her hand back down. Her desire to keep Roxas close was stronger than her physical weakness.
Roxas felt the touch, and that was enough to tell him to keep close. He pulled back from the kiss, though he moved his face to set another on one of Namine's cheeks. After holding that kiss, he moved to the other cheek, giving her a gentle kiss there as well. She deserved all of the love in the world.

Namine felt herself get teary again at Roxas's gentle actions, her hand slipping off the back of his head after a few moments. She set it on her stomach and kept her eyes shut, exhaling a shaky breath. She felt like she was dying, but she wasn't going to just give up her life. She knew she had far too much to live for to just let it go.
Roxas opened his eyes after the last kiss, though he kept his face close to Namine's. "I love you," he said softly, thankful he was here with her again. She needed him, and he needed her. It was just the way it was.

"I love you too," Namine murmured, her eyes shut despite how Roxas's were opened. She loved him with everything she had, and he was the reason she was fighting so hard for her life right now. She had friends to fight for too, but Roxas was what gave her the most motivation to survive this. She didn't want to leave him.
Roxas smiled at the words, the boy lowering his lips to Namine's to give her one more kiss. He pulled back after a small moment, his hand lifting to brush some of her damp bangs away from her eyes. He would help her escape this. He swore on it.

The Next Day, the Realm of Light

Lightning had her arms folded over her chest, her gaze on the big room that was empty except for six thin pods. According to Riku, Sora was in this room for a year in his own pod, recovering memories of something. It hardly mattered to her, since today, the pods weren't being used for that purpose. Riku revealed to everyone that the only way to get through the wall to the Dark Realm was to be stronger, and the pods could be used to give people power. Of course, there was a catch. The pods had to be in pairs, hooked up to the two people who had some sort of special connection. In this case, it was Aqua, Terra, and Ven to Kairi, Riku, and Sora. Those six would be gaining power from each other and sleeping in the pods while Lightning kept watch.

Kairi stared up at the pods, a few feet away from Lightning as she exhaled a breath. She was nervous; she didn't know what she would be like when she came out of that pod. She was pairing up with Aqua, since the young woman gave her the power to wield the Keyblade. The same would go for Sora and Ventus, and Riku and Terra. The pods were set up so Riku, Sora, and Kairi would be on one side, with Terra, Ventus, and Aqua on the other. They would be back to back, which she knew was reasonable.

Riku approached Lightning, stopping next to her to stare up at his pod. He released a small sigh, remembering the last time he was in this room. Namine had asked him if he would join Sora in erasing his memories, but he decided to keep them. She watched over his best friend ever since, and today, Lightning was going to take that role. He trusted her to keep them safe, since they didn't know how long this would take. It could take a day, at most.

Lightning took a small step closer to Riku and wrapped her arm around his lower back, the young woman lightly leaning into him. She knew that he was going to get into this pod as quickly as possible to gain the strength to get to Roxas and Namine, and she would be here to stand guard. She had to admit, though, she was nervous. She was good with technology, but she had never seen anything like this before. She hoped this went down without a hitch, because if there was a problem, she wouldn't know how to handle it.
Riku glanced away from the pods for a moment, wrapping his arm around Light's shoulders. "You ready?" he asked, looking back up at their set up. She would have to work the controls, but he was sure she would do great. All she had to do was remain calm and take things as slow as she needed to.

Light nodded faintly, looking up at Riku and seeing his gaze was on the pods. "Yeah, all set." She would remain calm and composed as always and keep things under control. She wasn't worried about any enemies finding their way into this place, but even if they did, she'd be ready. She wasn't going to let her sleeping friends get hurt.
Riku felt Lightning's eyes on him, and he turned his head to meet them with his own. "You'll be fine," he said, able to tell she was a little nervous. Of course, he was probably the only one who could tell, since he loved her.

Again, Lightning nodded faintly. "Yeah," she said in agreement. "I know." She ran her hand over his lower back briefly before she pat it gently, her hand coming back down to her side. She wasn't going to draw this out; this really wasn't that big of a deal. Riku didn't see any flaws in the system where they would get hurt by the pods. Everything would be just fine.
Riku smiled at Lightning crookedly, taking his arm away. "Be my guardian angel for today," he told her, taking a step back. He needed to go round up the rest of the crew so they could get this going. There wasn't time to waste.

"You don't have to ask me twice," Light responded gently, nodding faintly to him. She noticed Terra and Ven already getting into their pods, and Sora was waiting to get in his since she and Riku were standing so close to his. He was giving Kairi some last-minute reassurance, saying that there was no danger in what they were doing here.

Riku smiled a little more and sent a wink Lightning's way before he turned around completely, starting toward the pods. He saw Aqua get into hers with ease, and he went to the one on the far left, where he would be opposite Terra. It was open, so he grunted as he jumped into it and turned around. Here goes nothing.

Kairi smiled up at her fiance and nodded, both of them standing in front of her pod. She would need his help getting inside, but after that, it would just be her and Aqua. She was nervous for the transfer of powers, because Aqua was a Keyblade Master. But before they got here, Aqua assured her as well that she would be fine. Hopefully she and Sora were right.

Sora nodded faintly and smiled at Kairi, the teen helping Kairi into her pod. After she was in, he jumped into his own and turned around, seeing Lightning walk over to the computer that would control all of the pods. As soon as the powers were done being shared, the pods would shut off automatically. But there was an emergency shut off for each pair of pods, just in case anything happened.
Kairi turned around inside her pod, knowing that she would come out of this with more powers, if she had any already at all. But she needed the strength to get to the girl that was like her sister, so she would look past her nerves and do this. She let her eyes find Lightning, knowing that she was getting ready to send them into a brief slumber.

Lightning typed in some keys on the computer that sat on a desk in the room, a chair by it and being unused for the moment. She looked up at the cells and saw them start closing, the soldier seeing Riku, Sora and Kairi while Ven and the others were on the other side. Goodnight, she thought, seeing the pods shut completely and Sora close his eyes. Time to get this done with.
Riku saw the door to his pod closing up, which told him it was time. He closed his eyes, sure that the others were doing the same. When he woke up, he and Terra would have a share of powers. The same would go for Ven and Sora, and Aqua and Kairi.

Over a day later

Lightning stood in front of Riku's pod, gazing up at him like she had done for the past day or so. She loved gazing at his peaceful expression while he was asleep, and from the outside, she couldn't tell if he was gaining strength or not. What worried her, though, was that Riku had predicted this would take a day at most, and it was already over a day into it. The computer system showed that everything was going as planned, so she didn't interrupt the procedure. She just continued to keep a careful eye on everything and everyone to make sure that she wasn't missing out on anything harmful happening.

Unaware of Lightning's gaze on him, Riku continued to sleep. Because of the magical properties of the pod, he was floating, along with his friends. The process of gaining Terra's abilities and giving away his own was a dream to him, where he saw and felt everything happening between them. It was odd, but he would have recognized it as a cool experience at the same time. When he woke up, he would have Terra's strength and power, and vice versa.

Lightning suddenly heard a noise from the hall that led to this large room in Twilight Town, the clatter making her turn her head sharply. She grunted when she saw creatures start into the room, recognizing with faint fright that they were the screamers from the Twilight Realm. How did they get here?! It didn't matter, because Lightning wasn't going to let them get close to her friends. She started walking away from Riku's pod and set a hand on her sword, calmly staring at the three intimidating beasts. But before she was anywhere close to them, all three of them released screams at the same time. Lightning forgot about her weapon, the noise making her cry out. She lifted her hands to her ears and tried to block out the noise, since she realized that this scream was trying to knock her out instead of just paralyze her. But she couldn't fight against it, and after a second or two, she fell, but not before a hand came away from her ear and hit the button she was standing by. Aqua and Kairi were about to be released from their sleep as Lightning fell into hers.

Aqua opened her eyes, something within her telling her it was time to wake up. She saw the door to her pod open slowly, unaware for a moment that there was any danger. But then she sensed the Darkness, a gasp leaving her lips. She leaped out of her pod and looked around, not seeing any threat...and that Ven and Terra were still sleeping. She walked around her pod only to hear Kairi scream.

Kairi stared at the three creatures with wide eyes, having woken up to see them right in front of her pod. They were surrounding Lightning! She caught one turn to look at her, and as it leaped for her pod, she put her arms out in front of her. "No!" she cried, squeezing her eyes shut. Little did she know that white light left the palms of her hands, attacking the beast and causing it to fly back.
