Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi didn't say anything...mostly because she didn't know how to respond. Sora really didn't want her to leave? It just showed that she was wrong about him, again. Like before, she figured he would be mad at her, and he wasn't. And now she thought he would want her to leave him alone...and he didn't.

"Unless, uh, you want to leave," Sora said, unsure on how to interpret Kairi's expression. Did she not want to stay with him? If that was the case, then he wouldn't keep her with him. That wouldn't have been fair.
Kairi's eyes immediately found Sora. "Oh, no, it's not that," she assured him quietly, shaking her head a little. "It's just..." Well, she didn't really know what it was. She was really confused...and sad. Those emotions were affecting her thought process.

Sora felt relieved at that, but he was concerned as to what Kairi really was thinking. He kept his eyes on her, waiting for her to finish where she trailed off.
Kairi shyly dropped her gaze from Sora's, not really knowing what to say. "I don't know," she admitted quietly. This was all really hard for her, and Sora too, she was sure. Things just weren't the same anymore...and it was all her fault. It would always be her fault.

Sora nodded slightly, lifting a hand and scratching his cheek. He could understand where Kairi was coming from; He was feeling at a loss for words as well. He hadn't spoken much these past few days, and his voice probably sounded a little off because of that.
Kairi's thoughts really weren't helping with the emotional issue, the girl just wanting to cry. Everything was in chaos, and it was because of her. She'd broken up with Sora because she was scared and didn't know what was happening, and that in turn caused him to lose his Keyblade. How selfish she was!

Sora lowered his hand after a few moments, glancing at Kairi before he looked back down at the sand. He really didn't know what to say, or do. Kairi had broken up with him, so he didn't quite feel right initiating physical contact. She had done it before, though, so...what did that mean?
Unacceptable, Kairi thought, making sure that her heart did not transfer those thoughts. Everything that I've done has ruined Sora. I'm destroying him... What kind of person am I for doing such a thing? She definitely wasn't a person he should love, that was for sure. He said that he loved her, but she was awful. How could he?

Sora would have asked, but he didn't quite feel comfortable enough to do that. Obviously he and Kairi weren't enemies; they were most certainly friends again. But were they more than that? They both loved each other, didn't they?
But...Sora was completely opposite from her. He was amazing, so adoring and protective, and strong and friendly. He was goofy too, which was something she loved about him. But even more than all of that, she loved him for him, his heart. But Kairi had a feeling that this was a sign; they didn't belong together. If they were to love each other and be with one another, they would only bring doom, like star-crossed lovers. Right?
  • Author
Of course the two of them loved each other! They had been together so long, and they always loved each other even when they were fighting. They had even shared a Paopu fruit together! They had to be together...their destinies were connected.
Kairi swallowed, forcing back tears at her thoughts. They only disturbed her, and she wasn't even sure why she was thinking them in the first place. Was it because of her guilt, and how awful she felt for what she'd caused? Or was it fate that she felt this way?
  • Author
He wasn't willing to give up on Kairi. Sora could never, ever do that. No matter what, he would always love her and protect her...even if he couldn't fight. He would find a way.
Kairi blinked, trying to clear her suddenly blurry vision. No...she couldn't think like that. Her heart was telling her not to. But then why was her mind insisting on it? She was so confused, hurt, sad...everything. It was awful.

Sora glanced up at Kairi, lifting a hand and running his hand over the back of his head. "...Where do we go from here?" he asked Kairi softly. He knew where he wanted to be: He wanted to be with Kairi. But what did she want?
Kairi didn't lift her eyes to the boy in front of her, afraid he would see her vulnerability. So instead, she just shook her head. "I don't know," she admitted weakly. "After everything I've done..." What? After everything she'd done, what?
  • Author
Sora waited, his eyes on Kairi even though she wouldn't look at him. He heard some emotion in her voice, and it made him want to reach out and hug her. But he couldn't do it...something was stopping him.
Kairi released a soft sigh, closing her eyes. She didn't know how to continue, what to say. She was so lost; she didn't know where to go from here...at all. And it upset her.
  • Author
"...Do you want to be friends?" Sora asked softly when Kairi didn't speak. He had to at least know that much. But if she said no to that...It would break his heart. He wanted to be so much more than friends, and if he couldn't see her at all, he didn't know what he would do.
Kairi felt herself smile faintly at the question, finding it sweet. She nodded. "Of course," she said, her eyes remaining closed as she reflected on the question. It was impossible not to be friends with Sora. They had been since they were little.
  • Author
Sora felt a weak smile tug at his lips, that being the first one that appeared in a long time. He was so relieved at that answer, and how Kairi phrased it. Of course she'd want to be his friend...What a relief that was.
Kairi felt a slight sting in her eyes when she opened them, looking up at the boy that stood a little taller than her. They were faint tears of happiness at what just happened between them, that they were friends. They were so close, physically and in their hearts. She couldn't stay away from Sora even if she tried, and she had done that; it was awful.
  • Author
Sora noticed Kairi's moist eyes, and again he was tempted to reach out and touch her. But again he was stuck, his eyes also locked on Kairi. So what were they supposed to do now...? Would they be more than friends?
The truth was, Kairi loved him. She loved Sora with all she had. But...she wasn't sure what would happen between them now. Being friends was a start, especially after all she'd caused him. But...what about after that? Would they ever get back to how they were before? Or was that impossible now?
