Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning didn't sense the creature flying back, only feeling another one grab her ankle in its grasp and then throw her. She landed against the desk in the room, her crash hard enough to break the desk and the computer that sat atop it. A soft sparking noise came out of it, and since it was damaged, it ended the transfer of powers between those still in their pods. They started coming open, releasing the people inside and allowing them to wake up despite how the procedure wasn't done yet.

"Kairi!" Aqua cried, reaching for the girl's hand. She accepted it and Aqua helped her down as her eyes settled on the creatures. Kairi just... Aqua summoned her Keyblade to her hand as the other pods opened, unaware that Riku was waking up. She blocked an attack by one of the beasts and swung at it, pushing it back. She then ran after it, cartwheeling to avoid an attack from another creature. She felt...lighter on her feet. Kairi. She gave me grace.

Riku shook his head, though his eyes widened once he focused on what he heard and what was going on. Those things were here too! And just near the pods, the desk was shattered, and among the rubble... "Light!" he cried, jumping out of his pod and hurrying to her. He knelt down next to her, turning her over. "Light, look at me."

Sora jumped out of his pod, not feeling sleepy at all like he had the first time he left the pod. He looked over and saw Ven already rushing at the trio of enemies along with Terra, though Ven seemed even faster than he already was. "We need to all deal the final blows at once, or they all revive!" he cried, speeding over to the group. He surprised himself by swinging backhandedly with his Keyblade at an enemy, the grasp comfortable for him now.
Kairi saw the others fighting, standing by her pod and not knowing what to do. She knew she had powers, but she didn't know how to use them. Think, Kairi. Think! she ordered herself. She couldn't stand by and be helpless any longer.

Terra swung at his beast harder than he expected it, seeing it fall. But the others didn't do anything to revive it, so he supposed that as long as the other two were defeated at the same time, then they would be fine. He saw Ven finish off his beast with Sora, though, and the other one was left standing. His eyes widened when the creature lifted its head and screamed loudly, making Terra lift his free hand to an ear as he lowered his head. Ugh, what is this!?

Aqua cried out, lifting a hand to her head at the painful scream. What's going on!? she wanted to cry, but she was paralyzed. She couldn't move! She kept her eyes shut tightly, waiting for the scream to stop.

Kairi covered her ears, waiting for the scream to finally end. When it did, she was able to move again. She saw a beast going for Ven's back, and all she could think of was protecting him. "Ven!" she cried, but to her surprise, a shield surrounded him. However, Kairi felt a small ache in her head. Did that have anything to do with the shield she just cast?

Ven heard Kairi's cry and he spun around, though he was shielded from the beast that had come back to life. He saw the shield vanish and he cast a fire spell, his magic more powerful thanks to Sora adding his power to his. That scream must have been what Sora was talking about with their revival. They really did have to finish them off at the same time.
Riku knew that he had to help out, because there was no way they could keep dealing with those screams. He gently set Lightning down before summoning his Keyblade to his hand. He ran forward, swinging at the beast Aqua was working on. To his surprise, there was more strength behind the swing that he originally intended. He instantly knew that he got more strength from Terra, and he used it to his advantage.

Terra looked over to the side after another minute of fighting, seeing that Ven and Sora were about to deal the final blow to their enemy. And over on the other side, he believed he saw Aqua and Riku about to finish off their beast. A battle-cry left his lips as he swung at it, seeing it fall along with the beast his younger best friend was fighting.

Aqua dealt the final blow to her and Riku's target, seeing it disappear, and thankfully at the same time as the others. She turned her head, breathing heavily as she looked to her friends. "Everyone alright?" she said, her voice echoing slightly in the empty room.

"Not everyone," Riku said lowly, his eyes resting on the woman he loved. He dismissed his Keyblade and ran toward Lightning, slowing his pace when he was close. He then knelt down next to her, reaching for her so he could hold her. She was still knocked out cold.

Sora looked over in that direction, seeing that Light must have hit the table hard since it was completely wrecked now. "Wonder what happened..." he said, summoning his Keyblade away and lifting that hand to scratch the side of his head. Did the enemies sneak up on her and throw her so hard she was knocked out when she hit the table? That was the first idea that came to his mind. He was sure the others were curious too, but at least Ven and Riku were more concerned with Light, the former now over by Riku and his sister.
"Light," Riku called, holding her torso up with one arm behind her shoulders, the other hand moving to brush her hair away from her face. "Light, wake up." She was still alive, but she was just unconscious. Even so, he didn't like this. He could already tell she would have bruises from the abuse, but a Cure spell would get rid of those right away.

Light grunted softly when she sensed Riku's presence, her body being held securely by him as she started coming out of her unconsciousness. She had a horrid headache, but not because of hitting the table. All three of them screaming at once...She was sure now that two of them screaming at the same time would be enough to knock her out, so three was overkill. Her headache probably wouldn't go away too easily. She opened her eyes, seeing Riku right above her and Ven close by.
Riku saw Lightning's eyes open, but he didn't loosen his hold. "Hey....you alright?" he asked, eyebrows furrowing slightly. She was knocked out cold during the fight, but...since when? How long ago did those things show up?

"Yeah, I'm fine," Light mumbled, her head finding Riku's shoulder as she shut her eyes again and felt her eyebrows furrow behind her bangs. Her head was killing her and her body was hurting because of something that must have happened while she was knocked out, but she was always fine as long as she made it out of a battle alive. That was all that mattered to her.
Riku relaxed slightly, though he blinked when he saw an herb appear over Lightning's body. He glanced over his shoulder, seeing Aqua still holding her Keyblade. She nodded to him and Ven with a small smile, dismissing her Keyblade without a word. Riku nodded to her as well before turning his attention back to Lightning. The spell should help get rid of the pain.

Lightning felt the spell wash over her body, but her head was still pounding. She looked over at the group in time to see that Aqua was the one who cast the spell, and she nodded a little in thanks to her even if it didn't help much. "All of them screamed at once and knocked me out before I had a chance to react," she informed Riku and Ven softly, shifting her gaze from her boyfriend to her brother and then back to Riku again. "...My head's still killing me."
Riku's eyes softened, his gaze on Lightning's. "That's alright," he said softly. "We'll get you some medicine." Unfortunately, he didn't think they had time to go back to the Islands; they still needed to reach the Realm of Darkness.

Light shook her head faintly, lifting a hand and setting it on Riku's shoulder that was further away and pulling herself up a little so she was sitting upright on her own. "Forget it," she said, though she kept her voice soft because of her headache. "Let's get going. We've wasted enough time here." They had been in those pods for over a day.
Aqua saw Riku nod, but she took a small step forward. They wasted time? How? "How long have we been asleep?" she asked then. She hadn't expected anything more than six hours, at best. But Lightning made it seem like they were here for longer than that.
  • Author
"A little over twenty-six hours," Lightning responded, looking past Riku to the rest of the people in the room. She noticed Sora's eyes widen, but if Terra was surprised, he didn't show it. That was no surprise to her, since Terra didn't show emotion too often. Regardless, twenty-six hours was a lot longer than any of them expected to be here.
Kairi walked over to stand next to her fiance, though she glanced around the group. Twenty-six hours? Riku had said it wouldn't take any longer than a day. I wonder why it took so long? But, were we even done with the process when we woke up? For some reason, she didn't think so.

Light saw that nobody else was speaking, so she broke the silence. "Oh well," she said, taking her hand away from Riku's shoulder and setting it on the ground, cautiously standing up. She brought a hand to her head as soon as she was on her feet, both because of the headache and the dizziness she felt. She ignored it the best she could, knowing she was stronger than this. She wouldn't hold back the group from getting to Roxas and Namine.

Aqua released a small breath, looking away from Lightning and to the others. "Well, it looks like our time here is up. We've got a few things to handle back home," she said softly. Well, what used to be their home; it was destroyed by Xehanort so long ago, but they were finally putting it back together, piece by piece. "But we wish you guys the best of luck."

Riku stood up, tearing his eyes away from Lightning to nod at Aqua, as well as Terra and Ven. They would need it, because if this tranfer of powers didn't work, then they were in trouble.

Ven smiled at his big sister, nodding to her faintly and getting a serious nod in return. He would expect nothing else from his soldier sister, but that was alright. He loved Lightning just the way that she was. He waved to her cheesily instead of giving her a hug and started out of the room, seeing Terra already going after saying a quick farewell. He was excited to get back to the Land of Departure and keep sorting things out. Even if their home wasn't in good shape, it was nice to be there.
