Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku watched his three friends disappear, but then he turned his attention to Sora, Kairi, and Light. "So....shall we?" he asked, his voice echoing a little in the large white room. They were done here in Twilight Town, so it was time they went on ahead to the Twilight Realm to reach Roxas and Namine.

Sora nodded to Riku, his expression reflecting seriousness. Even he had to be serious now, when they were in the pods for over a day. He hadn't hoped to keep Roxas and Namine waiting this long, but they would hurry through the Twilight Realm to get to them. They wouldn't have to be alone much longer. He started out of the room, trusting everyone would follow. At least they were already in Twilight Town; the border to the Twilight Realm was close by.

In the Realm of Darkness, the next day

Roxas had his back against the headboard of the bed, one arm around Namine as he used the other hand to rub her arm. She wasn't getting any better, and after talking to Jeremy and his friends, he felt a little disappointed; they didn't know a cure for the curse. That didn't mean he wasn't going to look, of course. Namine was going home, sooner rather than later. But...where were his friends? They should have been here by now.

Namine leaned against Roxas as she sat on the bed, her heavy head resting on his shoulder as her eyes were shut. She wished she could have said that she got better after Roxas arrived, but it was almost the complete opposite. She was worse a day or two after he came, to the point where she had to get an ice bath to lower the fever. That was the worst she felt, but compared to that day, she was better now. Still very fevered and weak, but she was still alive and still fighting, and most importantly, she was still with the one she loved.
Roxas lifted his hand after a moment, brushing Namine's damp bangs away from her hot forehead. She was still sick, and it killed him inside every time he saw the look in her eyes. She was suffering, but right now, he had no way of helping her. I'm sorry, he thought sadly. He wanted to help, but he didn't know how.

"Hey, Roxas?" Namine whispered after a moment, feeling him wipe her bangs away from her forehead. She had a question for him, and she wanted him to be honest with his response. Right now, she couldn't take anything but the truth. Actually, that was always the case, because lies always made her really upset. And Roxas knew that, so even if she was sick, hopefully he would be honest with her.
"Hm?" Roxas hummed, his eyes on Namine even if she wasn't looking back at him. They hadn't spoken for a majority of the day, so he was curious as to what she had to say. Did she need anything? He would gladly go get whatever she wanted; she was his top priority, always.

"The Darkness here doesn't hurt you, does it?" Namine whispered. She knew that it made her pretty weak, and sometimes she experienced more pain because of it, but Roxas seemed to be immune to it. She wanted to know if he was just putting on a brave face or if he really wasn't affected by this. And, of course, she hoped that the latter scenario was the real one.
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed at the question, which he didn't really know how to answer. "Well," he started softly, his hand still running over Namine's arm. "It doesn't hurt me as much as it hurts you, but...it is uncomfortable." He wouldn't get sick over it or as weak as the girls, but he did sometimes suffer from fatigue. It was only for a little while, though. "Why do you ask?"
  • Author
"I just wanted to know you're alright," Namine responded softly without moving. She was suffering, both from the curse and the Darkness in this realm. She knew Roxas wasn't struggling with the first, but she wanted to know if he was okay in the Darkness. She didn't ever want him to be hurting, even if she was. She loved him too much to wish anything bad upon him.
"Mm," Roxas hummed softly, watching his fingertips glide over Namine's skin. She wanted to make sure he was alright, but he wished he was in her place. He wanted to do anything he could to make her feel better. That included taking the curse upon himself.
  • Author
"I love you, you know," Namine said softly, opening her eyes and looking down at her and Roxas's extended legs. She was so glad that he wasn't hurting here like she was, and she was glad he was with her instead of running around and looking for a cure. She needed him with her right now more than she needed a cure to this curse, and he seemed to understand that.
Roxas smiled weakly. "Of course I know," he whispered softly, looking from the wall to the girl he too held feelings for. "There isn't a day that I don't believe it." She loved him, and he loved her. Namine was his, and he was hers. It was just how it was meant to be.
  • Author
"Good," Namine whispered, smiling faintly at his comment. "I don't ever want you to stop believing that." She hoped that he would always have faith in her love, and in her. Their relationship was far from perfect in the past, but their love remained throughout it all. And it would linger in her heart the rest of her life.
"I won't," Roxas said with a small smile. "And don't you ever forget how much I love you too." She lost her memory in the past, and that definitely wasn't easy for either of them. But Namine was his again, and he wanted that forever. He was sure he would have it too.
  • Author
Namine shook her head against Roxas's shoulder softly, her small smile remaining. "Impossible," she whispered, shutting her eyes. She couldn't ever forget about the love that Roxas held for her. Even if she lost her memories like she had in the past, her heart would always recall the feelings that she and Roxas held for each other. It would be enough for her.
Roxas's smile remained as he looked down at the girl he adored, finding her beautiful even if she wasn't feeling her best. He lowered his head, planting a kiss in her blonde hair. He held it for a moment before pulling back, resting his chin lightly atop her head. "We're gonna figure this out, Namine. Don't worry," he said softly. He was going to find a cure, with or without help. He had to, for her.
  • Author
"Okay," Namine whispered, hearing Roxas's gentle promise. It was the same one that he kept making over the past few days, and she did have faith that they would find a way to stop this suffering. She just hoped that it was sooner rather than later, since she felt so terrible. She couldn't keep living her life like this. Actually, she couldn't really live it at all, shut up in Jeremy's house like this. It wasn't his job to take care of her in the first place, so she felt bad for being a burden to him here.

In the Twilight Realm

Kairi followed behind Sora, as she always did when they were in this Realm. They hadn't encountered any of those screaming enemies, thank goodness. And she didn't think they would, since their portal was just up ahead. She didn't feel weak yet, which was good, and if she was able to make it through without too much pain, she would have to thank Aqua later. Her strength would probably help a lot.

  • Author
"Kai?" Sora asked, barking to her as he looked over his shoulder to his fiance. "Can you walk by my side?" He wanted her within his sight as they got closer to the portal, and hopefully this time around, they wouldn't have any problems. He was ready to get to Roxas and Namine and help solve this curse problem, if Roxas hadn't done it already. He continued walking without feeling hurt, Lightning lagging behind him and Kairi a bit. She had been quiet ever since the incident at the pods.

Kairi picked up her pace a little, approaching Sora's side. She wanted to be by his side anyway, so there was no problem with the request. She felt like she could finally handle the Darkness, but most likely it was only to an extent.

Riku was at the rear of the group, though he caught up to Lightning because of how slow she was going. He nudged her with his nose, sniffing her as he worried for her. "You okay?" he asked softly, walking beside her. She didn't look good, and she'd been really quiet.

  • Author
Lightning looked down at her paws as she walked, not looking up at Riku when he nudged her. "Fine," she lied lowly, though her legs felt like they weighed a ton. She glanced up and saw that they were getting closer to the wall, the wall that she couldn't get within twenty feet of last time she was here. But Sora and Kairi were still going strong in front of her, and she wasn't going to be the weakest link of the group.
Riku knew she was lying, which was why he took a few more steps forward and turned, stopping in front of her as he faced her. "Light," he barked. She needed to be honest, especially when dealing with the Darkness. The last time they were here, she struggled, and if the same was happening now, he didn't want her going any further.

Light's pale blue eyes found Riku's aqua ones, her walking coming to a stop when Riku got in the way. She heard the low growl that left her lips and realized her teeth showed a little, not that she was actually going to attack Riku or anything. She was just angry. She could handle this; she had no choice but to face this, so Riku needed to get out of her way. Preferably right away, since she wasn't in the mood to mess around.

"Stop it," Riku growled, his eyes hardening as he heard her low threat. Light needed to talk to him and let him know what was going on, or else he was going to keep standing in her way. He wasn't moving.

Kairi heard the growls behind her, which caused her walk to slow until she stopped. She looked over her shoulder, seeing that Riku and Lightning were nearly butting heads. What was going on?
